The food was ok and the cafe is located in prime location! You can catch a gondola ride outside! The espresso martini was ok but the coffeee was low quality. Service was excellent!

We walked in for a late lunch. The place was easy to find just behind San Marcos Square. A gondola station was right next to it with a long queue. We sat upstairs, asked to move to the first row where we could see the gondola action. We ordered fajitas and Cobb salad, both were good, but the beef was a little chewy. The atmosphere and service were great. The music was nice and the volume just perfect for our older ears, we could talk and enjoy the music.

Super friendly service here! All the staff were efficient and very helpful. Beer was perfect and the atmosphere super cool. Not a lot of memorabilia but some cool highlights like The Police and Aerosmith.

Pulled pork sandwich was yummy!

We had an amazing server and were treated like royalty. I have a food allergy and the chef made sure to come talk to me which was very impressive! The host, such a great person and fantastic service as well! The food was also really great. Not one complaint. The area is beautiful surrounded by canals and gondolas.

I'm embarrassed that we ate here. We each had a beer & shared a nacho. The nachos came from a bag they were laid out on a large platter. There was limited cheese, 2 tablespoons of guacamole, 2 tablespoons of beans a light sprinkle of red onions & chopped tomatoes. This was the most expensive meal we ate in Italy; it was the only disappointing meal we've had in Europe. It was shocking to see tables of morbidly obese eating massive piles of onion rings, burgers piled high, tremendous desserts & huge sugary drinks in enormous take away glasses. Service was prompt but they kept tryyyo bring us more food.

Since Venice is overwhelmed with tourists you'll find issues with service but there are exceptions and few provide quality service like Hard Rock Cafe. A HUGE APPLAUSE to our hostess Miriam. She kept her cool and a big beautiful smile while managing with exasperation from an rude upset customer. Even other crew members showed up to give her emotional support. You must have a reservation and make it on time to the Cafe. There are about 70 seats only. Dario, our waiter, a very cool guy too. He got us our refreshments and desserts in a very timely manner and explained how tips work. One cool note: Hard Rock Cafe is contributing to the maintenance and restoration of the old San Marco Piazza. Please carry cash to tip them, the NFC machines don't support tipping. FOOD There are local options, we only tried the Tiramisu. Really delicious and refreshing. STORE (In Cafe) THANKS to Sonja at the store who was very friendly; she helped me when I found my Amsterdam hat (misplaced in inventory) that I couldn't get in 2005 but thanks to an angel I could find it here. Enjoy! #ruizmedina #hardrockcafehat #travel #traveltips #familytravel #hardrock #hardrockcafe #hardrockcafevenice #hardrockcafehatcollector #italy #venice

Let me clear this up. I did not come all the way to Venice to run to the first American chain restaurant I could find. I was hungry and just got done checking into my hotel. Most restaurants were closed until dinner time and this was the next place that I saw. They did verify that I had my CDC vaccine card since we aren't allowed to get Green Cards. I was seated upstairs and ordered a Hurricane. It was not my preferred drink, but what they could make without their bartender. I ate because I was hungry, but didn't truly enjoy my meal. The ribs were light on meat and they only had sauce on one side. There are many more options around, but if you are really craving American food, it is there

This Hard Rock Cafe was much better than the one in Florence. Our server Adrianna was fantastic and did a really good job making sure our children with allergies were taken care of and could have a safe meal. The food was good, the restaurant is located near San Marco's Square and has gondolas right outside for a unique experience.

Food is lovely! It's filling with accurate portions. The food is very filling and is really worth its money. The service is really fast and our server is amazing! He was so sweet and friendly. The ambiance was amazing! There was music playing on all floors and never a dull moment. Although it was really busy, the servers and the general atmosphere made it 10x better. The shops prices were as expected, although it's expensive it's really worth your money because I still have tops from when my dad went there when he was in his teens. All the staff was friendly and welcoming the only negatives is the toilets could be cleaning and topped up more regularly. Other than that it's perfect!

Murano glass even in a Hard Rock Venezia, IT Chihuly learned his famous style from Murano. Btw this chandy is huge. 2/1/18

Boy I'm stressed at work and am writing Yelpviews. Lmao. Productive huh, while rolling to my next meeting. Yelp is an awesome de-stressor. I love Venezia, but Man, I love me a good burger or American plate after a lot of local fare. Here, we had a burger (not pictured) and a salmon with some sauce that I wanted to leave out. So our cool tatted server said, "I'm guessing you're from the U.S. so would you like some sliced avocado on your fresh fish?" Better than the sauce we offer. I said, "Sure!" Weird combo but it worked well. I just loved how we can eat "'Merican" while surrounded by Murano glass. It's like lounging an Art museum. But Nah, it's Hard Rock Venezia. People were super helpful and loved that they tripped on us because they felt sorry we had a President named Donald Trump! 5 stars for the Murano glass and super service to us poor Trumped Americans here ;)). 5 stars to the Venetians! Grazie mille molto gentile. Visits: 3 for drinks late nite, e una cena delilziosa Americana. Tip: The Hotel Bonvecchiati is literally 20 storefronts away from the Hard Rock. Most restos close at 9pm, you can eat and cocktail it up here until 1am. Then walk home in the silent, dark and sensual Venetian night happy as sh&(t.

Grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. Comes with fries and cole slaw

Ok, so we came here with the intent to sit in an air conditioned restaurant, have a nice lunch, and let our kids take a break from all the walking. Guess what, it was perfect. Steps away from St Mark's Square, this place has standard American food if you're in need of a break from the amazing local fare. Food quality: on par with a typical Hard Rock Cafe. We got a grilled chicken sandwich (pictured), which came with bacon, and folks, what doesn't taste great with bacon in it? So it was excellent. The kids ended up getting chicken tenders and Mac and cheese and they were both a hit. I ended up also getting a cappuccino too as an after lunch energy boost, and it got me ready for more walking. Service: the servers were really nice, spoke English, and made conversation with the kids--we were attended on throughout the lunch. Ambience: don't expect a quiet restaurant, there is a good volume speaker system playing rock music through most of the place so you'll get some familiar tunes in your head. It was not overbearing or painfully loud, but was notable. PROS: great location near St Mark's Square. Accessible even during high tide. Friendly servers that speak English. Food was very good for American food in a foreign country. Bathrooms were clean CONS: prices are a bit high but hey, it's no hole in the wall place, this is a touristy restaurant catering to US customers. Music is constantly playing so not a place for quiet conversation. BOTTOM LINE: if you want a little break from all the walking, clean restrooms, a place to sit for an hour or so and not be pushed out, and friendly service with pretty solid food, this is the place to go near St Mark's square. We were glad we came for a recharge here.

Look, you are looking at a review for a Hard Rock Cafe in Venice, Italy. That means you have already gotten over the guilt and biases for choosing to eat at an American chain restaurant when you are in one of the best food countries in the world. You could just want some comfort food from home because you are jetlagged or you could be one of those people (like us) who visit a Hard Rock Cafe wherever you travel. Either way, this is a darn good Hard Rock. It is a bit on the small side so you may want to make a reservation if you plan on eating there during a peak time. You have an amazing view from the second floor of the canals and gondolas, you have decent air conditioning and drinks with ice. You even have a "local" menu so you won't feel too guilty eating there. Service is predictably good and all the food was cooked well. The rock shop was also well stocked with pins. Do I feel guilty for skipping Italian food for one night? Sure. But will I do it the next time I visit another country. Yes!

My son has spent the last month in an Italian hospital after a really bad fall while on vacation in Venice.

2 words- food poisoning. We came here for dinner on our first night in Venice because of the great…read morereviews. The staff was so kind and helpful! We sat indoors which felt so nice with the AC! The food and drinks were okay taste-wise. I would give the taste a 6.5 out of 10. Good yet not tons of flavor. The food was good for filling our tummies in the moment but not good enough to return. The worst part - food poisoning. I had the calamari and boyyyyy was I sick afterwards. It turned our experience from "okay" to "ouchhhhh". Unfortunately, we will not be returning for more. :(

Was able to make a reservation for 3 somehow on some local platform (spouse) for 8 pm Sunday…read moreevening in June. Other walk in accommodated as much as possible. Arrived a bit early and seated at window seat inside immediately. The inside is cozy but adequate. The staff hustled and were very efficient and friendly. We ordered the seafood special based upon walking in and seeing a huge pan on fresh seafood on table and thus made it easy for me and the kid to decide. It was their house special at 35 euros per person (minimum 2). Included lobster and a bunch of shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari in a red broth. Also two large scallops. Takes at least 30 minutes to prep so need the appetizers to get you by. The also close out the special by tossing in pasta after your done with the seafood into the remaining broth. Full disclosure it's a mess to eat. Must use hands. The cover you with s bib. It was delicious. The spouse does not like briny seafood so she didn't eat much but more than enough for 3 (except not for the scallops and lobster portion). We started with a few appetizers. Spouse had the lasagna. It looked good and home made but again I ignored it due to the mountain in front of me. A few drinks and bottle of water. I wish the pasta was available before the end but understand they want to toss it into your pan of sauce. I had originally asked to order a pasta to complement but they said it came with a pasta after ( so I agreed ). Obviously we are tourist so I can't take extra home of which would have been plenty. Total cost about 143 euros. (No additional taxes or tip). Credit card available but we needed to roll home to hotel so left 150 cash on table.
