Not real good which is a shame! The fries were good. The dessert too. Green beans were cooked beyond recognition. Salmon was okay, but other meats served at our table were overcooked and dry. The cocktail I got was good too, but took forever to get. Just disappointing... read more

We've been here several times over the years and it's always a place to eat. That's it. A place to eat. Food doesn't knock you out, service was usually pretty good (and I bet it would have been if we were seated somewhere else) and the atmosphere CAN be fun but isn't always amazing. We sat at the busy bar (but seats were open). When I tell you this was a much needed night out, it was a much needed night out. Sick kiddo, busy schedules, originally planned as an overnight with special reservations/etc... but we made it work for a handful of hours. And our dining experience was not good. It took FOREVER for someone to even acknowledge us. 3 bartenders walked by us a dozen times, maybe more. Not even a look. They did, however, take the order of folks that came in after us (near us, close enough for us to see/hear). One was clearly a "regular" and he was treated with drinks before we were even acknowledged. Finally get drinks... but then trying to order? Same treatment. When we were ready to order, when I had a question and it was met with disappointment with the answer, the bartender walked off with "let me know when you're ready." More waiting. Dinner finally ordered (Burgers). Mine ordered medium, my husband's medium-well. His came out medium - a solid medium, maybe slightly under - and mine was rare. SO RARE. But I couldn't get anyone to help. Ugh. I mean, come on. I kept trying to grab one of the bartenders with "Excuse me" but I was ignored. Luckily, someone that appeared to be a manager was there and asked if I needed help. This manager proceeded to look at my burger and said, "Yep, still mooing." Frig. I have SUCH a thing with meat to begin with but man. So my food went back and I waited for a new burger that came out medium and it was good. But my husband was already done eating by the time my burger came out and we had a show to catch so I scarfed down my food and we left. In this day, when everything is SO much more expensive than just a few years ago - when we only go out to dinner maybe 1x a week now when we used to go 2x-3x.... you just expect your hard-earned money to be spent on decent service and decent food. They made it right but it wasn't without effort. It took forever. Service was absolutely horrible (getting a refill on soda NEVER occurred and my husband had to also wave down someone for a beer!). With that said, I won't CHOOSE to spend my hard earned cash on crappy service and sub-par food and frankly, I wouldn't suggest anyone else do the same. There are better restaurants and honestly, I'd pick the food court over this next time. I miss the Boston location - so much better. We've hit up many Hard Rock's over the years and this one is a huge disappointment. read more

great food and ambience. amazing experience in the gift shop as well, Luke was the man!!! he gave us A+ assistance. 10/10 would recommend

Stopped at the Hard Rock while at Foxwoods because the menu options were what we were in the mood for. There was even live music from an awesome band! Our server, James, was one of the best waiters I've had recently. He made us aware that they made mocktails, so I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri and was happy to feel special because I don't really drink. When I was ordering the mac and cheese, he checked to see if I like spicy food. I said I'd rather have it without the roasted red peppers, and he went the extra mile and told me to get it with bacon and garlic, which wasn't even an option on the menu. The food was okay, nothing too crazy, but the service we had was great and we had fun listening to the band. read more

Worst food service ever. waitress was so rude she muttered don't come back under her breathe, while walking away from our table. At that point I never planned on going back anyway, but the audacity of this waitress. It's funny because I thought waitresses work on tips so they should be nice and accommodating. Our food was not cooked right, the manager could care less. Seen our waitress once and never seen her for the rest of the time we were eating. This location should be closed. It is tarnishing the hard rock café's name. I would love to see this location on undercover boss. read more

The hard rock Café is an incredible dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant is incredible. There are so many sweet, hard rock and heavy metal artifacts all over the walls. It is decorated beautifully. The service is pretty good sometimes a little slow, depending on when you go, but it is an overall great dining experience. read more

Not crowded for a Friday. Got the nachos, burgers and a kids meal - everything was fantastic! And a service was great too. Pictures and decorations all around the place are amazing. There was a live music from Marques Cristopher, rock and pop from a different eras. We will definitely go back. read more

The food arrived soon after ordering while it was still hot and the plates were warm. The server also asked if we wanted the appetizer to come out sooner than the food or enough time after so that we're able to finish the appetizer. There was a corn hole board in the back of the restaurant. It's a nice restaurant for a family outing as it is not too quiet but also loud enough for you to hear everyone at your table. read more

The food was decent. It's a chain restaurant so I didn't really expect much. However our waiter and drinks were great! It's connected to the casino so we didn't have to go far for food which was perfect. There's usually a wait time but the wait times go fast. read more

I recently visited the Hard Rock Cafe with my two kids for lunch. We had no reservations but were immediately seated for lunch on a Sunday over Presidents' Day weekend. There was a band playing-I thought they were awesome, although I didn't catch their name. Our service was prompt and friendly. Our order included soft drinks, the original burger, salmon in a cedar plank and the ribs. We all enjoyed everything very much. The ribs were huge, but readily enjoyed by my son- and again for an afternoon snack. It was quite a large portion. My daughter enjoyed her salmon and I thought the burger was perfectly cooked and even looked like the menu picture. The price was a bit steep, but we knew that going in. My son purchased some hard rock guitar picks, but we didn't indulge in any other merchandise. They had some nice shirts for a decent sale that I kind of wish I purchased now. Oh well. If I ever find myself in the casino again- I would not hesitate to stop by the Hard Rock Cafe for a bite. read more

Was not impressed. I ordered a drink and it was so bad I couldn't drink it. Nobody asked why I hadn't touched my drink. Appetizer menu is pretty much nonexistent. Bartenders had no personality. The live local music was the only positive. This hard rock location doesn't seem to have to same ambiance as others. read more

5 stars for our service. Great great great experience. Our server (Ellie) was FANTASTIC. Everyone at the table agreed it was the best service we have ever had. Definitely will be back for some live music next time! read more

I sat alone at the bar before an 830 poker tournament. I ordered the special hard rock energy drink that they mix like a long Island ice tea. It was a little girly looking but I enjoyed it. The menu is pretty standard for an American restaurant with apps, salads, burgers and BBQ and other entrees like Salmon. I ordered Twisted Mac n cheese which had chicken in it. I liked the dish. Tasty stuff. Good service overall read more

Came here for lunch before returning back home. Great location, pleasing to the eye with memorabilia neatly placed all over the wall, and extremely spacious. We were all immediately greeted upon walking up, taken to our seats. I went with the Salmon which comes with two sides-- Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. The twisted Mac caught my eye--so the waitress offered to swap the green beans for the Mac. She also mentioned, it was spicy, but could make it un-spicy, if I so desired. One negative was despite the place being semi-empty, the food took awhile. The other negative was the Salmon had, what appeared and tasted like Barbeque sauce on top. It's something odd and doesn't go together. The salmon otherwise was good, the mashed was too, but the Mac was over the top. I thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely return here in the future. Also, a nice feat, was the 80s and 90s music videos playing throughout the Café. read more

Buffalo chicken sandwich was really good. Not over-fried or dry at all. Piece of chicken was HUGE! I had enough to cut off pieces and share. Fries were pretty standard. Mojito was good and strong. Forgot to take a picture. Service was good. Our waiter was awesome but the person that brings the food out needs to slow down. She unknowlingly spilled salad dressing on my fiance's sleeve. Later on she spilled my fries all over the table but replaced them with new ones within the minute. Can't complain too much it was kinda funny. Pretty cool atmosphere in there. I would go back. read more

Went to Hard Rock on a Saturday night. I had a reservation but didn't really need one as there were plenty of tables available. Waiter was really nice and let us use a $5 off coupon after taking survey on the check. Had the nachos as appetizer which were excellent. They make them slightly different than other places and I really enjoy them. After I had steak fajitas and husband had a burger. Nachos were so filling that it was hard to finish meals. Drinks were good, service was great and atmosphere is cool. Only negative as that with many tables available throughout the restaurant, they sat us close to the restrooms so there was a lot of traffic next to our table. Would definitely recommend. read more

It's a pretty good restaurant in an awful casino. I had the Buffalo wings, they were good wings, spicy with some bbq smoke flavor. Hold on aren't Buffalo wings supposed to be tossed in Buffalo sauce ie: Frank's Redhot, butter etc. I don't like when places have their own take on wings and doesn't give a detailed description of what they are on the menu. If I want bbq wings I'll order bbq wings. It's a decent restaurant, my friends enjoyed their meals. The management wrote me back & were very pleasant, I edited my review somewhat & would say if you find yourself at Foxwoods it is definitely a safe bet. I'm just very critical when it comes to Buffalo wings. Lastly the staff was friendly & the restaurant was clean with lots of tv's. read more

Walking around Foxwoods and to me, the food selections are limited. We have casino points to use, so we decided to eat here. Our server was a buff guy with a gruff voice, reminded me of HHH of WWE. Hubby ordered a plain burger as usual (boring!) I wanted the nachos, just the way they came (no proteins or guacamole). My nachos came on a nice sized, very hot plate and hubby's burger was close to room temp. I thought it was strange to see pickled onions on the nachos but it tasted all right. On the table was a tent, saying to join the Hard Rock rewards and receive a free dessert and a free appetizer the next time we come in. So I went online and joined. When the meal was over, we asked for the brownie sundae, while super delicious, was 1 of 2 desserts listed on the menu. When the bill came, server said that the free dessert for joining was just a plain sundae, NOT the brownie one. NO WHERE ON THE MENU DOES IT SAY THIS!! Peeved at this! We wouldn't have bothered getting dessert. Other than that, server was nice and friendly. read more

Sunday, 1/20 - 12pm - party of 3 Only two tables occupied when we arrived which should have been a sign on a busy sold-out weekend at a casino resort. We were hungry, tired and sat anyway. The place smelled like weed. I don't know if it's legal or not in CT, but no one wants their server to be smelling like skunk. Not appetizing at all. Two of us ordered the fajitas - medium steak with little onion $21 and medium rate steak & shrimp with no onions and add jalapenos $22. The orders got confused but we sorted it out. Must have been all that weed that confused the staff :) The other order was a burger with fries. Food quality was good, beers were cold. read more

Has gone completely downhill. Sat for while waiting for a server or bartender at bar for lunch. Finally snagged a cook walking by. Ordered sandwich and never saw her again. Came here because of the impossible burger option at Foxwoods. The burger itself was ok. However the fries were under done and Luke warm. The onion ring was hard to chew like it had been fried 2 hours ago and then refried to get warm. The mashed potatoes came cold in the middle. We paid $99 for a meal I believe would have been better at Burger King. Never again. Waitress was very prompt and kind though, so not the fault of wait staff read more

I ended up getting sick. I have celiac disease and need to eat gluten free we told the host but I wasn't given a gluten free menu our waitress got one for me. I got the wings with the tangy spicy sauce and I was very clear that I needed to be gluten free etc. well I got sick and looking at the receipt she didn't make allergy etc. ( yes I know it's not an allergy but it's the only to get people to take it seriously so need to say gluten allergy) now I will suffer for days with joint pain and everything else. That night I was sick and ended up in my room for the rest of the night in the bathroom. Not fun. My husband even reminded her it needs to be gluten free and she just shrugged her shoulders. I should've walked right out then. But I e never gotten sick before when I've eaten there. Our waitress was more concerned about not being sat and another waiter getting sat more. What a shame. This place has gone downhill. read more

I ordered a caesar salad and the grilled chicken on it was so dry and I felt the need to say something to the server (because it was so dry it was inedible) and he then told me that grilled chicken is suppose to be dry.... I would give zero stars if I could. The service, and staff is awful, food and the amount of rules they have when you're trying to spend money with them is outrageous. I will never go to this hard rock cafe or any other again. The staff blatantly ignored us and we're extremely rude. read more

We enjoyed this restaurant for the lively music and decor but relaxed, casual atmosphere. For me, the menu was disappointing. They have limited vegetarian options. ( salad.... ahhhh I eat enough on my own ) If you like meat with cheese and bacon, this is your place. I cannot knock them totally. Their target crowd is not people like ME. I did give their veggie burger a whirl. It had an odd texture, I did not care for the taste either. I was excited about the cauliflower buffalo "wings". They were just okay. It's hard not to notice this cafe...the logo, the signs, the lights and music everything about this place lures you in .... it's like entering a rock and roll museum....The walls adorned with authentic memorabilia. The food is classic American....bare in mind while you order, the portion size is huge. I found it to be a tad pricy, $12 for nachos plus $3-$5 from everything you add on top of it finally ended up paying $20 for a humongous plate of nachos, tasty but had to throw out 70% coz that's all we could eat. I also ordered the veggie burger $16 to begin with, same thing they charge you for everything you add-in.I didn't like the burger much was a lil dry and bland... comes paired with fries and spicy chipotle sauce..Ask for garlic ketchup, its really good. All drinks are served in a souvenir glass for an up charge (not surprised). They have many beers on tap, first time I saw hard cider on tap... I had the strawberry and basil muddled lemonade...very refreshing. Good music, high energy atmosphere...your assured to have a good time.... can't wait for the Hard Rock hotel to open in Hartford. read more
