I always choose to sit at the bar when I come here. The bartenders are always attentive and very kind. My boyfriend and I split the fajita meal usually with the steak and chicken. I'd recommend it, it's always delicious. I've also tried a few other things including the haystack chicken salad which was very good. My sister and I have been here once before and it was decent. So last week we decided to grab something to eat and a drink. Seriously the service was terrible. I can't remember the waitress' name, but I really don't care to, but she had an attitude from the beginning. It wasn't only us but her other tables as well. However it seems that terrible service seems to be a trend at this. The other waitress that serviced the table behind us was remarkable. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was pleasant and attentive. She chit chatted with us for a bit and helped her customers. My sister's burger was dry nothing impressive for its cost. The drinks were great. I would recommend getting a drink here for the 13.95 and get the class instead of going to Atrium and getting a $12 drink. I've been to Austin location where I had a tremendous amount of drinks, but it was still a great memorable time with great food and service. Well, where should I start... I'm not sure why, but I expected more. While we only had drinks and appetizers our party was not impressed. There were 4 people in our group and the bill was about $100, for the money, the food should have been much better. We ordered Nachos, Spring Rolls, Bruschetta and French Fries. The Nachos were acceptable although there was some "cheez whiz" like substance that didn't really need to be on them. The Spring Rolls seemed to be nothing more than frozen "Taquitos" although the cole slaw like salad served with them was quite tasty (when we put it on the nachos instead). The Bruschetta was just ok as well, but served cold, I've always had it warm so this was different (prefer it served warm actually). The fries were a joke, I think the price was $5 for what could have been a child size portion. Onto the drinks, all the drinks were $1 more than we were told when the waitress suggested them, I'm not sure why, but also couldn't be bothered to ask.... we had 1 margarita, 1 sangria and 2 rock something or others(supposed to have Jack Daniels and Soco. The drinks were weak for the price. On the plus side service was great, our waitress was attentive and seemed to enjoy her job. While I doubt we would ever eat there again we would probably grab some beers at the bar (can't really water those down) With all the option in Foxwoods this one slid way down the list after our visit. My second time here. The chicken marsala was very good, portions were good, also came with veggie of the day. Service was good. We asked them to turn down the lights and they did, I hate a restaurant where the lights are so bright that you feel like you're at McDonalds. The music was a bit too loud for me, but after awhile you get more used to it. Got a rum and coke, she asked if I would like a regular size or large, got the large $14 - yikes, that's the most I've paid for rum and coke including being in Miami. the first time there, i was blown away by the chicken spring rolls, and the twisted chicken mac and cheese, which I raved about. however, this time, it took an hour to get our entrees, at 2:00 on a Saturday, they didn't bring the limes specifically requested, or the water. the spring rolls were obviously sitting in the lettuce/sour cream type dip for a long time, as the lower halves were totally soggy and gross. they replaced those upon complaining. and when we FINALLY got our twisted mac and cheese, it was dry, not cheesy at all, and totally flavorless. the manager comped the two entres, admitting they looked very dry. but I was very sadly dissapointed. we travelled an hour for this ?!?!? i dont think I'll do htat again, it is very expensive. read more

I went to the hard Rock and was told happy hour drinks and half price appetizers are only at the bar. The bar is self service seating. The wait time for a table was about 15 min to open up. I find it horrible that happy hour drinks are "only at the bar." This is a hard rock, not an upscale restaurant. That's like Applebee's or Fridays saying sorry no drink specials at your table now sit at the bar. The service was horrible. The food is nothing to brag about. The displays and settings are nice. That's the only thing good this location has to offer. Save your money, head to Johnny rockets or eat off the hotels premises. read more

I am honestly appalled and will probably never visit a Hard Rock ever again. My boyfriend and I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years and this is hands down the worst service we have ever received or witnessed. We sat at the bar for five minutes before we even got greeted or even looked at. Then the bar back greeted us and I asked if he could send a bartender over. When he mentioned something to one of the bartenders she screamed "THEY JUST SAT DOWN" which we didn't. Five minutes to not even be acknowledged is unacceptable. The place was not busy at all. Thankfully, the other bartender (Michelle) came over and took care of us. She was sweet but looked miserable, probably because she was busy taking care of the entire bar while the other bartender was on stage singing a ridiculous song about humping. When we got our nachos the cheese wasn't melted at all. Michelle sent them back and had them remade for us. We were still charged for them. We received nothing but miserable faces our entire time there. I will never be back to this location and I really hope the management takes some control over there. This is unacceptable. I am never one to complain/ post bad reviews or under tip considering this industry pays my bills and supports my family, but this restaurant ruined our night. Well, we have been here a few times before and loved it, being why I give it 2 stars knowing there is potential. So this time we got here at 1 pm on Monday and had to wait. Odd I thought but it appeared busy so whatevs. The girl at the desk checked our id. So we waited our 10-15 minutes and got seated. Our server half heartedly greeted us and took our drink order and asked for our id again.... Weird. Brought our drinks back and took our order. My wife ordered the veggie burger and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. She informed me that they are out of Cole slaw. Ok, don't really like it anyway. She comes back 5 minutes later and informs my wife that they are "out of the veggie sandwich". Well she ordered the veggie burger so what? She went back to check if they are out of the burger as well. Turns out they are out of that too. Explain to me how you are out of a veggie sandwich? Do you not serve vegetables at all to make up a sandwich? Honestly that was enough for me. So we are really hungry and I cancel my sandwich and we order nachos. Who can screw that up? Guess who! The plate comes out as a flat, lifeless layer of "nachos". Minimal cheese; broken, bottom of the bag chips, and guess what? They must really be out of vegetables! Our server comes back and asks us "how is everything?" and literally walks away before I got to respond. This place is awful. The rest of my experience downgraded this place to a 1 star. My mom and I stopped here for lunch during our shopping trip to the Tanger outlets. The worst part about our lunch was that this place smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke. It was a little off-putting to us two non-smokers. The staff was super friendly! Despite the other negative reviews, the drink I ordered was really excellent and our food was good! It wasn't spectacular, we weren't blown away, but it was good. Mom ordered a chicken sandwich, I had the veggie flatbread, and we ate everything. For what it is, this place is pretty good! read more

My husband and I made our first trip to Foxwoods and seeing that there was a Hard Rock Café, we decided to eat there. We arrived around 5:30, and was told that the wait would be around 30 minutes, upon looking down at the restaurant we noticed that were several and I mean several empty tables plus stools at the bar. When I questioned about these empty tables, we were told that they didn't have enough staff to cover these. Really!! Then hire more!! No matter where we go, if there is a HRC I always go there and then to the merchandise, but this night was terrible and it was during the middle of the week. Very, very disappointed. read more

We have visited this Hard Rock now on three occasions. The first time it was decent. Depsite it being so loud in there, it's a very comfortable setting- but that is where the good stops. The second time, I had ordered the NY strip, it was cooked so poorly and the frozen brocolli and mashed potatoes were cold. We had a show to catch so I didn't have time to send it back. I wrote a letter to management and they sent me $30 in gift cards. We went back this past weekend and it was horrific. We first started with the nachos- they used Cheez-wiz! Then to play it safe, we both got burgers. When mine came out it was RAW. I showed the waitress and explained that it looks like the chef just took the wrong one of the grill, no biggie- it happens, but then she actually argued with me that it was medium rare! Argued with me! So we sent it back and it came out like a hockey puck the next time. Needless to say I left hungry. When we go the bill, she charged us for three burgers. unbelievable- one of the worst waitresses I've ever had, her name was Claudia and should have taken a course in customer service. We will never, ever step foot into this restaurant again. For $100 no on should leave a place nauseous and hungry and pissed off.... save your money. read more

This ended up being our lunch option since we wanted sit-down without spending a ton of cash. I had not been to a Hard Rock in some time, so the menu was surprising, lots of fun options, even though two of us ended up with pulled pork options and the other two with grilled chicken sandwiches... the fries were the prefect crispness and the flavors were just right in the sauces and spreads. The drinks were tasty no matter what we ordered. I opted for the Nectarine Punch (I think that's what it was)... and promptly spilled it... it took longer than it should have for someone to help us with the clean-up - we had gathered napkins ourselves and even asked someone for help but no one came for for what seemed like forever. When our server did show, she was gracious and helpful, but there were several others who could have helped or at least fetched her and chose not to. wow, I don't understand all these poor reviews .We hot Foxwoods about 1x per month and our first stop is always the hard rock to get a little liquored up so losing at the slots doesn't hurt so much (but that's another story)Rarely take a table. we like to sit at the bar. hv never seen anyone at a table complaining and from what we see of the servers they seem very friendly, especially Dan. The bartenders all rock. Stacy, Jen, ,Kelly, Scott, Alison ,Lori, Jessica and Mickey.GM John ,New AGM Kat, and Kitchen MGR Sam are all friendly and available. BTW we just got back from 3 days at foxwoods today, so i'm not writing old news. Sure its expensive, but I've never had a poor drink( you can bring your favorite recipe and they will make it for you), we were told the first time we went there about drink prices.. first is 13.99 and refills are $9.keep the receipt and go to the store for the free souvenir glass. Burgers are as good as the steakhouse at the grand Pequot. been there slow times and have good conversations and laughs with servers/tenders. I consider them friends. Been there crazy times, New Years Eve, last year and the year before, and will be there this year. I came with a group of 12 on a work outing on a Wednesday night. After some casino fun, we decided we better head for dinner fairly early as it was a weeknight. Around 8:30 we headed toward the Hard Rock. When we got within about 100 yards, we heard the most god-awful noise (some kind of grungy "rock and roll") and we thought "no way..." Sure enough, we got to the Hard Rock and could not believe it. Absolutely horrible, INCREDIBLY noisy live "music" coming from inside the restaurant. Honestly, our ears started to hurt while still outside the restaurant! As hungry as we were, there was absolutely no way we could go in to the restaurant. We were amazed and very puzzled about who could possible be making the business decisions in this restaurant. We were a party of 12, and, turned away, and we noticed that there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. No surprise that several couples approached the restaurant, peeked in, and left, shaking their heads. And this was early on a Wednesday night!
