This is nice because side you get the fresh breeze and you can people watch if you're lucky to sit there. They have a stage where live bands can play and it gives that vibe of energy and flow. Then our entrees came and they were all so good. This place has always been just average to me. The food is mid, service is mid, and prices are mid as well. I decided to give this place another try since they were open late and it was right on the shopping strip. We arrived and the host had told us that it was going to be about a 45-1hr wait. I highly recommend their server Will, he was a joy and just seemed to add to our energy when he heard the words 'birthday celebration'. Went to Hard Rock without reservations for dinner. Place is big. No band playing when we went. Hostess was cold and not welcoming so I almost turned around. Once we were seated, it got better. On the way up, look up to see the cool guitars display on the ceiling. I love how AC is not typical in Hawaii, and all places have open-air concepts. We sat on the veranda, enjoying the night breeze overlooking the city. We started off our dinner with a passion fruit mai tai. Excellent choice. Then as an appetizer, we ordered the nachos. They were tasty, and the tortillas were crispy. Oh and I loved the pickled onions! We were in the mood for chicken for our main course, so we ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. I am a huge fan of buffalo sauce, and this one didn't disappoint. Like all hard rocks, this place was adorned with merch from all of your favorite classic rock bands. They had TVs at the bar, playing the football games which was nice, but also music videos played on the additional patio TVs. The service was amazing. Never easy having a child at the table, but they were so accommodating and nice even when she was fussy. I got a barbecue burger, my wife got a salad, and my daughter got the mac & cheese kids plate. Used Open Table to make a reservation for 3 on Friday afternoon. We checked for dinner in through their souvenir shop seamlessly. Was greeted and quickly walked to our table. Holy moly we loved this place! The waiting list for a table at 6 PM wasn't too bad (20 mins) and we were actually see that before we imagined. The walls of the restaurant are decorated with tons of guitars and other instruments from famous rock 'n' roll singers like Guns N' Roses and U2. There's a big airy, open atmosphere that feels fun with a spacious bar and numerous televisions that don't take away from the ambience of the establishment.
