Had my wedding here on 5/9/2026 and WOW!! Best day of my life and that says a lot because I have two children. Hannah, Ashley and Sam were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole entire process. From planning to the actual big day. Hannah' and Ashley were very communicative and always stayed in touch throughout the entirety of planning, they coordinated with my day of planner and just seriously made everything so simple and always answered my phone calls and emails with any questions I had. Sam, my girl Sam!!! I met Sam the day of my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better person to be there helping me and my family. Sam was amazing and she just fits into her role perfectly. She absolutely crushed it and my mom and I and my husband were blown away by her cheerfulness and execution. My husband never saw me she made sure of it and honestly she just made my day so special and easy. Sam and Ashley got us apps, told us when and where we needed to be and we're just so sweet and easy to be around! Both of them and Hannah are awesome. Great venue, awesome staff, great food and overall just the best day ever. I am very easy to please but seriously I don't think anything ever went wrong and I can't make that up. This place seems like such a great venue, which is why my company chose to have our holiday party here twice! It's easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. There are great views no matter where you look. The indoor area is spacious, and the outdoor area is really nice as well. The staff was on top of everything. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for an event space. The things I didn't love were the main dishes they had for catering -- they were a bit bland -- but the sides were really good. The bar was just okay. The beers were super cold and crisp, but the mixed cocktails were "ehh" at best. Our company provided us with two drink tickets, so anything after that you paid out of pocket, though the prices weren't bad. If I remember correctly, mixed drinks were $7. On the way out, parking did become a bit of a headache. It's one of those paid parking systems where the venue provides a ticket for free parking, but people trying to figure out how to use it ended up backing everyone up as we were leavng. read more

This venue was perfection. It was definitely one of the best values with perks, location, coordination, cost etc. The food was soooo good. My guests complimented me on it and I've eaten the leftovers for multiple meals in a row lol. There was a tri tip cutting station which I didn't even realize. The coordinated Myra was amazing and so sweet. Darcie and (Annalise- moved positions) were amazing and so communicative to all my annoying emails. We were married at Harbor View Loft on 6/24/2022 and it was absolutely perfect. We chose HVL in June of 2021 and it was our first and only venue we visited. I knew I wanted water views but also had to consider our budget. We knew most of our guests would be from out of town, so we wanted convenience for them as well. HVL checked all of the boxes! We did not have to worry or stress about anything. Our Wedding Coordinator was always responsive and thorough. Our Wedding Coordinator changed shortly before our wedding which could cause concern, but it was a seamless transition. Katie was our day-of coordinator and everyone absolutely loved her. She made sure that we had food and drinks and helped us ensure that the day was perfect. We had our ceremony on the balcony and did not have any additional flowers or decorations, the backdrop was beautiful enough it wasn't needed! Our guests raved about the food - we had a buffet with the Chef's Table, Quinoa Salad, Chicken Marsala, Tri-Tip and Cheesy Potatoes (upcharge). Everyone loved it all but particularly the chicken marsala. We also had passed apps, grilled cheese with tomato soup and sliders and those were great for cocktail hours. Finally we did churro shooters and the ice cream bar for desert and those were excellent as well. The set-up perfectly followed our vision and we didn't have to do anything for set up or clean up. We just had to make sure we brought any items home that were left over which was boxed up for us and ready to go. It got a little warm on the dance floor, but that's to be expected on a warm and sunny summer day. On October 12, 2019, my husband and I got married at the Harbor View Loft. I cannot rave enough about our experience with Personal Touch Dining and our wedding at Harbor View Loft. From start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. Our coordinator was Annalisa, and she was a dream come true. She made an experience that can be overwhelming and stressful seem effortless. The whole process was very organized, and the whole team of employees at Personal Touch Dining work like a well-oiled machine. We are not from San Diego, so they went above and beyond to help us coordinate and make all of our plans and arrangements, offering suggestions when we needed help. All of our questions/phone calls/emails were answered promptly, they were able to work with all of our requests. We fell in love with the venue, the pictures online just can't do it justice. The views and atmosphere of the location are priceless. We had our ceremony on the patio. There isn't really need for too much outdoor decorations because the views alone are an amazing backdrop for the ceremony. There is a park right across the street that offered a close spot for some amazing photos, and someone was even kind enough to let us into the marina to grab a few photos. The indoor reception space is new and modern and had more than enough space to hold our 180+ guests comfortably. They have separate rooms on separate floors for the bride and the groom to get ready and hang out before the ceremony. Annalisa was there early coordinating with all the vendors and making sure all the little details were perfect and in place. The food was AMAZING. Our family and friends are still raving about the spinach and artichoke stuffed mushroom appetizer and the parmesan crusted chicken portion for dinner. Our guests were so impressed by everything and everyone had a great time. I can go on and on about all the little details, but I'll end this review by just saying that we are so unbelievably grateful for a truly perfect wedding day and everything Personal Touch Dining did for us. read more

We got married at HVL on 7/29/22 and it was truly the most DREAMY day. When we first toured HVL we planned on having our ceremony out on the lawn outside by the water but we ended up having to have it upstairs on the rooftop and oh my goodness I am SO glad we did. The rooftop allowed for the most intimate feeling during the ceremony as all of our guests were able to be so close to me and my husband when we were up at the altar. We had around 125 guests and I will never forget the feeling of walking down the aisle and everyone standing up. I was so emotional walking down the aisle at HVL because it felt as if all of our guests were giving me a huge hug. It was the most surreal feeling and I wish all brides could experience this! Then once we were up there everyone said they LOVED the views of San Diego! We had lots of guests from out of town so for them this was such a perfect spot because they could see downtown SD and have the classic harbor vibes as well for a perfect photo backdrop. We took photos down on the lawn with our bridesmaids and groomsmen and then by the harbor for sunset and with family so you really can take advantage of it all! The airport being SO close is super super helpful and it wasn't a bother at all during the ceremony to have an airplane fly by, no one even noticed it. During the whole planning process everyone was SO helpful! Especially Daisy and Darcie as they were the two that helped us from the beginning! During our tastings and linen picking they were so patient with me and my husband and we are so very grateful for this. Our day of coordinator Myra was also SO wonderful. She really made sure everything was perfect and it truly was!!! The FOOD was also so good! We ended up doing tacos (which I am not sure if they are available anymore but I heard all the food is unbelievable) and churros for dessert and everyone said they loved this! It made our out of town guests feel even more like they had the whole SD experience. Overall they truly were so wonderful at making sure everything went smoothly and I 100% recommend HVL and the whole team to absolutely anyone who wants to have the perfect San Diego wedding! I stumbled upon this venue from theknot.com. Self-admittedly, I wanted a small 50 person wedding and sorted by the lowest $ value . Long story short my husband had a 90+ guest list so we needed to expand our parameters since the bride gets what he wants. Harbor View was an absolute find. Most of his family flew in so the proximity to the airport was phenomenal. There is no venue charge...none of this $3-4K charge just to use their space! We could also supplement the bar for wine which was important to us. The food - for the crowd size it was fantastic and evenly cooked. I was most nervous about the food and everyone raved about this after. Our day planner was easy to work with and didn't miss a beat. If you are getting married or having a corp event I would highly recommend this Personal Touch Dining or Harbor View. read more

Getting there: This little venue is located right on the boat docking area. The parking lot is small but there is street parking and I believe you might be able to park at the hotel a block down. Experience: I came here for a wedding. It was nice because the venue was small and intimate but it had an outdoor area and a indoor area. The food was ok, but there was a variety (tri-tip, pasta, salad, etc...). The bartender was awesome, we made great conversations with him. We loved that most things are included (remember that music, photography, flowers, and officiant are not). Having an open bar and great food were important to us. The location of the venue can't be beat. The views of the skyline, the harbor, and North Island are incredible. Though we didn't have the park reserved for our ceremony, we were still able to take pictures there with our photographer. Highly recommended! Being a COVID bride has been so difficult but Annalisa made it as smooth as can be by giving me all the options and making everything work. I had to reschedule from September 2020 to March 2021 dueto COVID and Annalisa was always there ready to help in every way. We live out of town so we mostly emailed or talked on the phone and she always replied quickly. It was such a relief because we always had questions and needed recommendations for all our vendor. For my wedding I had one request, get married by the water and this venue was perfect. So many beautiful spots. Plus they offer many choices and their food is delicious! My planner, Keli Christenson, found this venue for me...And I'm so glad she did! The space itself is incredibly beautiful and modern (it was just renovated). The hardwood floors, marble bar, muted colors, and incredible views and wrap-around walkway were perfect! Also...it was about half the price I was quoted for a hotel in the same area! Further, I've noticed that hotels often have grand rooms for weddings that are pretty, but a bit dated, given their age. Harbor View was just completed last year, so that wasn't an issue. All in all, it was a perfect canvas to accommodate my decor and flowers. The layout allowed for a sweetheart table in the back/middle of the room so that all of the guests had a good view of us throughout the speeches, cake-cutting, etc. You can tell this place was designed with weddings in mind. As for the staff, I first met with Tracy, the owner. I sat down with her to talk about what we wanted in terms of food and bar, and she was very accommodating. While she gave a list of alcohols to choose from, she was happy to find something not on the list for us (Macallan 12) that we requested. On the night of, the food was absolutely delicious, and my friends especially enjoyed the open bar! Annalisa was the employee I interacted with the most, and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. She had no problem changing our menu after the tasting to include 4 appetizers instead of 3 for a reasonable surcharge (just couldn't leave behind the bacon-wrapped dates!) and would always respond to emails really quickly. A lot of people told me and my husband that it was the best wedding they'd been to and I owe that in part to this awesome venue and its staff. read more

Wedding date: 09/03/2022. Harbor View Loft is a great venue! My Husband and I live in Chicago and decided a wedding in San Diego because I am from San Diego and wanted my family to be able to come without all the hassle of travelling. It was the perfect location with great views of the harbor and the marina, it is literally a 360 degree of great photo spots without the hassle of having to travel to another spot for pictures. It is great that they include a day-of wedding coordinator that helps ease the stress of the big day, but is still always around in case you need finishing touches. Myra was amazing and was so very helpful. She made sure that we stayed within our timeline. It was also very easy to work with Daisy who was there throughout the process with quick response to any questions we had. The food was amazing. Our guest raved about all our food including the appetizers and dessert. The bartender was also amazing, we got a lot of praise from our guest about how conversational and fun he was. One thing that could have improved was the temperature in the venue. To note, our wedding happened during a random heat wave in the San Diego and something that does not happen too often as it is always the perfect weather there. It was a bit a hot in the venue regardless of the A/C as the air didn't really circulate very well. However, despite the heat, our guest was still always in the dance floor dancing and had a blast. Also, if you get lucky, you can see the fireworks from sea world from the balcony which was an added bonus! Annalisa and Darcie of Personal Touch Dining as well as Dannielle of Harbor View Loft were all a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. One thing that we really loved was the space. You have the bay on one side and the harbor on the other AND the San Diego city skylines for multiple different San Diego vibes without having to deal with the windy conditions a beach front would give you. My husband I and I married April 2016 through a civil ceremony, so we didn't have our dream wedding 5 years ago but decided to have a big beautiful wedding for our 5 year anniversary/ vowel renewal and wanted to include our children, never once did we have this "vowel renewal" vibe, they made us feel like it was our first wedding and made it so special for us. Annalisa was seriously the sweetest. she had such a fun, warm personality... I even joked about her looking like Whitney from MTV's "The Hills" (yea,I'm old). Aside from the gorgeous venue and great wedding packages they offer, she was also part of the reason we chose this venue. Planning a wedding is EXTREMELY stressful, I was in over my head planning and to top it off, worry about COVID and restrictions while planning made it hard and unpredictable, but Annalisa was always super amazing and available for any questions or concerns I had. That meant so much because I needed to work with someone I could rely on at any time during the planning process. We went to view it February 2020 right before COVID hit. It was the second venue we had checked out and I knew immediately I had to get married there. We had checked out 3 more venues afterward, but nothing gave me the feels like the Harbor View Loft did. We initially planned for April 10, but there were still a few restrictions and we wanted our day to be special and one to remember for all the details, not because of COVID, so we moved it to May 29. Annalisa was great enough to help make the changes. 2 weeks before our wedding, we received an email from her they were now allowed to have the dance floor open and that was a huge relief because we wanted to have that open to the guests. She also informed me she was promoted and was no longer in charge of helping me, she told me Darcie was super sweet and would be my new point of contact but assured me she would be there every step of the way had I needed her. The night before the wedding I went to drop off stuff and I met both Darcie and Danielle who would be my day-of wedding coordinator. THAT'S ANOTHER HUGE PLUS!!! included in their package is a day of coordinator. It really took all of the planning day of stress off of me. they set everything up, I never once had to worry about any detail, we just showed up from the church and it was gorgeous! more than I dreamed of. I have kids and go hard with every birthday party so planning and all the details and setup is always a ton of work so I appreciated Danielle and the team for all of their hard work and PATIENCE! We can be all over the place crazy and never run on schedule (so embarrassing -_- ) but they were extremely patient with us and I appreciate it so much. overall, AMAZING experience and I'd recommend this venue to anyone and everyone looking to host an event or wedding ... you won't regret it! We choose Harbor View Loft because of the stunning views of the harbor and marina. We wanted an iconic San Diego setting for our guests and we also loved that so much came included with their packages, especially having a day-of coordinator. They were so easy to work with as we planned our wedding, very responsive and always prioritized making the most important aspects of our wedding happen. The food, service, bartenders and space were absolutely perfect for our wedding of 150. We received so many compliments from guests on the venue and the service. I cannot recommend them enough for the day-of coordination as well. We did not have to decorate, worry about vendors or deal with any details on the day of the wedding which allowed us to just enjoy. I initially was working with Annalisa, and then worked with Darcie as my coordinator the last six months. Annalisa was wonderful, and Darcie is an angel. Day of the wedding Darcie and Dani (another coordinator) handled every. single. moment. If there were any issues that day, I don't know, because they nailed it. Nothing was brought to my attention and I felt wonderful. They made sure my husband and I were fed, that I got a drink, and that everything with our vendors was coordinated. They handled the arch rental and set up for me and it turned out gorgeous. I absolutely do not have enough kind words for their staff, how beautiful this venue is, and the fact that it was all-inclusive was amazing for my budget. Their in-house catering company is PHENOMENAL. Everyone is still raving about how insanely good the food was. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD. We got married here in July and it was nothing short of picturesque! Everything went extremely smooth with the help of Annalisa! The food was amazing! The space is beautiful, updated and clean! The space was exactly what we envisioned on our wedding day! My only complaint is that it was hot I'm still not sure exactly what happened but the grooms room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The reception area has panoramic windows so naturally that room is going to be warmer but it's almost as if the space wasn't cooled down enough from the start of the day then throw 100+ people in there it was hot. The management and staff have an outstanding reputation from their other venues, and they lived up to every great review. Mostly, we loved working with Annalisa! Most valuable was learning that at HVL weddings have an ALL-INCLUSIVE PRICE- including a cake from one of the finest bakeries in SD- + an onsite reception room & BAR ++ a Day-Of-Coordinator. All with gorgeous views of the Coronado Bridge across the bay and their boat marina. We relied on their list of approved vendors: **DJ - who provided music advice & used our own choices for the prelude, ceremony, buffet dinner and reception. **FLORIST- Helped with choices of colors and flowers keeping our budget in mind & recommended a rental co. for the ceremony arch. **PHOTO BOOTH-Professional/fun. Produced many good photos for us (we provided a few of the props too) **PHOTOGRAPHER-used our own pro (relative) for a small service fee. ** LIMO- found our own for 1hr rate to shuttle guests after the reception to a nearby hotel for after party. Choosing Harbor View Loft as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Where do I begin? 1. Working with the sales manager, Annalisa, was an absolute pleasure. She made everything easy and stress-free. She truly understood my wants and needs and went above and beyond for me! If you know exactly what you want, she's ready to listen. If you're a little more laid back like me, she's ready to give suggestions and help guide you for your day. 2. It's affordable!! I viewed 5+ other venues and this one (BY FAR) was the most affordable and the best bang for your buck. Even though the cost per person was lower than any other venue I viewed, nothing was cheap here. There was a large variety selection of food, including filet mignon--many other venues charge more for filet! 3. Annalisa worked with the chef to make sure that there would be meals that would fit the dietary needs of myself and my friends and family--gluten-free for me and vegan for my friends/family. 4. The venue itself is beautiful. The inside is so modern and clean. Everything is newly remolded in there. The color scheme is pretty neutral so that you can spice it up however you dream! There are windows all around that look at the marina on one side and the bay on the other. There are views of the entire downtown cityscape and the Coronado bridge too. 5. On the day of the event, all of the servers, bartenders, and any other workers were so kind and helpful. They saved 4 pieces of each appetizer so that my husband and I could eat them after cocktail hour. Any worker was constantly making sure we had everything we needed, to the point where we never had to go up to the bar to get our own drink! The food was amazing (I highly recommend the mediterranean salmon)! The park was beautiful--Annalisa helped us obtain a park permit to have the ceremony there. The staff at Harbor View Loft was wonderful to work with from the very first email onward. We worked primarily with Annalisa, who is responsive, proactive, calm, accommodating, and overall fun to work with. She shared her personal recommendations for food, layout, and linen options as a baseline, then directed us to the many options HVL has to offer. We really appreciated her input to get us started and the flexibility to build a wedding that was truly "ours". Annalisa even helped get us a tasting scheduled early and showed linen samples so that we could better plan for all of our out-of-town guests (vast majority). HVL has their own catering company and you get a full package event managed by the same team! At our tasting, we learned first-hand that everything is prepared with far more care and presentation than we saw at other caterers. They have various styles of food service, specialty meal options for guests with food sensitivities, and they even offer food stations for a more casual vibe. The bacon wrapped dates, grilled tri-tip with corn/tomato relish, and their homemade cookies are to die for! We were really drawn to Harbor View Loft because of the location, scenic beauty, and nearly unlimited layout/decor options offered directly through HVL. Annalisa provided linen options, layout CADs, and decor ideas to help bring any vision to life. The transition and flow of guests from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner and then dancing is a breeze in this space, and your guests get to enjoy views around the harbor and even catch a sunset on the deck! As 2020 carried on, it became clear that our envisioned wedding was in jeopardy. Annalisa continued to check in with us and provide updates regarding impacts to the wedding industry and our event in particular. HVL was flexible and accommodating, and offered alternative packages, physically-distanced seating arrangements, and even a chance to postpone our date at no extra charge. Beautiful venue for a wedding with ocean views and run by a top notch company. Highly recommend

This venue was amazing! When we went to tour, they were still under construction but we thought just with the ocean view, it would be worth it. The view is great but the elegant look of the venue makes it a perfect wedding venue! You won't find a better costing venue with an ocean view than this one. The staff were so attentive of every little detail and made it easy to plan the ceremony and reception. This unassuming wedding venue is absolutely stunning and unlike any other I've been to. The staff was incredibly professional, punctual, and accommodating - we couldn't have asked for better people to work with. Daisy and Myra in particular were excellent (and were really good at handling multiple points of communication, including from the mother of the bride). Everything felt very streamlined and seamless. We were planning this wedding from 3000 miles away, and after 2 years of pandemic delays so the level of support and attention Daisy and the whole staff gave to us was really a lifesaver in an otherwise chaotic process. Not many San Diego natives even know about this location, as it is tucked away but deceptively close to the airport, which was great for all the out-of-town guests. The view of the water and the city skyline, especially at night, is really something to behold. Would absolutely recommend for any future event. read more

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here in May and we honestly couldn't have picked a better place. We basically said yes after the first tour & meeting with AnnaLisa. The venue has such a chic simplicity to it that I just couldn't get over. The food was super delicious, the view was beautiful, the bar was a nice little bonus, the bridal room was so cute & then grooms room was so cool which had fun games inside. We had our ceremony at the park across from the venue & it didn't have any foot traffic which was great! It was very intimate. Anna Lisa was so accommodating to our needs and to our wedding planner. We absolutely loved this venue for our wedding! We had a lot of out of town guests, so we wanted to get married somewhere that was very "San Diego". This place had it all, the sail boats, the city sky line, the water, indoor and outdoor options. It is new so its very fresh and clean looking. I loved all the hardwood and whites with the built in bar. The package came with so much included- tables and chairs, place settings, candle votives, linens, etc. Our main contact was Annalisa and she was AMAZING! She replied promptly to every question, was willing to work with us on some small random details we needed to accommodate since we didn't have a seating chart. All our meetings/tastings with her were super informative and helpful. You can tell she knows what shes doing and keeps everything super organized. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Annalisa and Personal Touch Dining! Harbor View Loft is only a few years old and is absolutely stunning from every angle. If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue - this is it! From cake to table linens to chairs, portable heaters and a gorgeous bar - Harbor View Loft has so much to offer their clients. The HVL coordinator, Annalisa, was incredibly communicative, proactive and accommodating to every single one of my (crazy!) requests and questions. She is an absolute dream to work with and kept me calm as I navigated planning a wedding during a pandemic. We had so much fun doing the food tasting and discussing all of the options (including the tablescapes). Every item on the menu is delicious - we had quite a tough time narrowing down our final selections. Harbor View Loft is a beautiful venue for any type of event! I recently had my Bridal Shower there and everything was amazing. All of the natural light keeps the room light and airy and sets the scene for whatever kind of event you are hosting. We had games outside for the guests and they were able to enjoy them as well as the incredible views of the water. Annalisa makes planning your event so easy! She is easy to get a hold of, quick to respond and very helpful. Professionalism at its best! We were able to use the downstairs room to make final touches on my hair and makeup. It was the perfect space that has easy access to the event space. The food is SO good! We had their Mexican cuisine and I received numerous compliments on it. The churros were the perfect dessert! We had Katie as our bartender and she was awesome! She interacted great with the guests and always had a welcoming smile! I could not have picked a better space for my Bridal Shower! I highly recommend it! read more
