Terrible terrible place. Please do yourself a favor and walk a couple blocks down to Smoke On the Water, right by the draw bridge for breakfast. This place has no "Harbor View" ... It's in a strip mall across the lake with no view of anything but a parking lot. It's got dirty old everything and rude staff. We walked in and stood there for fifteen minutes while the wait staff walked around us like we were annoying them and in their way without anyone addressing us. This poor place is in major need of renovation. Outdated but the least they could do is keep it clean. Yuck! We came here for breakfast and my eggs Benedict was just mediocre. There was water dripping from the ceiling on our table, in between our plates, and if I sat an inch to the right in the booth it would have been dripping on me as well (from a different leaky spot in the ceiling). Our waitress, blonde mid-aged woman, didn't even smile once while serving our table. What happened to customer service?! Will not come back nor would I recommend this place. read more

Man, this place sucks. Make some pancakes at your rental house or cottage / condo or whatever. If I wanted overpriced, bland breakfast items served in a nice groovy 70's basement atmosphere where EVERYTHING you touched was sticky.....this is the place. Service was a 4 on a 10 scale (pretty typical of breakfast in CVX), not the cheapest place by any means, the decor is your uncle's rumpus room when you were 5, and like I said, everything is covered in goop from the previous a hole tourists and townies who grubbed before you. Open for breakfast. Very nice waitstaff. The bacon is thick, they have options to get home-made bread and real maple syrup. If you must get one thing though, it's a Lattie's bagel. Lots of flavors, every single one is good. I like the cheddar jalapeno bagel and the lemon pepper bagel, my sister loves the Parmesan bagel, and my mother loves the cranberry bagel. Most breakfasts plates cost around $8 and come with toast and hash browns or bacon. read more

I ordered oatmeal and a breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese, and bacon or sausage on an English muffin) hold the meat. When the server brought our food, she said "oh, I just realized this has meat on it (my sandwich) let me fix that for you" . No problem. It happens. I hear her go back into the kitchen and tell the cook, who says "well I didn't know. Have her take the sausage off of it. " She must've decided to do that herself, because she brought it back with the sausage removed, but grease all over the overcooked egg and burned muffin. Funny, the cheese was cold and not at all melted. I don't like to complain, so I pushed it aside and tried my oatmeal, which was dry and undercooked--I was chewing individual flakes. I tried adding some of the milk served with it, only to discover 2 gnats floating in the glass as I was pouring. At that point I told the server when she returned that the oatmeal was inedible, and my husband said "that sandwich looks terrible too". The server removed both from our bill, which was nice, I guess. Never again. read more

DO NOT go there for lunch. Their breakfast may be good. But they dont seem to understand how lunch works or what things like corned beef is. Had a corned beef Reuben with what appeared to be steak-ums beef. They bring out everything at once when I ordered a salad that would normally be BEFORE the entree. And as an added bonus they are not very friendly. So good luck. Probably wont be back. read more

We were welcomed by a lovely waitress who told us to go sit at any table that we would like ... however two tables were full of ants. We decided to sit at the table that only contained one ant... We were OK with that choice I guess. read more

The food was great and there was not a very long wait so we were happy. There were 2 of us and we ordered a breakfast sandwich and eggs benedict with a pancake. We were disappointed when the pancake came 10 minutes after we were done eating. I asked for real maple syrup with the pancake and the waitress said they didn't have any left and I would have to buy a $15 bottle of syrup if I wanted it for my one pancake. Didn't seem logical when they could have opened a bottle as I am sure more customers would want it during the day. The prices were great and food was great so no other complaints. read more

This is awsome breakfast! The bacon is nice thick cuts cooked perfect , the hashbrowns are crispy and brown the way they should be and the made from scratch cinnamon toast is light fluffy and absolutely delicious. Went there today for lunch with my dad and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside and looks about the same when you're inside. Menu was decent, filled with typical breakfast and lunch staples. We both had the homemade chili which was great. I had the 1/3 lb. burger with onion rings. I had asked if the burgers were fresh and not frozen and sure enough they were hand spanked! On top of that the onion rings were homemade which was an awesome surprise and they were delicious. The burger was cooked perfect as well. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt and from observing her interactions with other tables I could tell she's been there a while and enjoyed her job.
