Stamford Hyundai - an incompetent job

I wanted to get the hyundai recall stuff done on my 2014 elantra and this was the closest place to my house in Westchester that offered it. It was super easy to make an appointment when it was convenient for me to bring it in. I liked that what they wanted you to do with the car was clearly displayed as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. It's like a valet type situation where I just drove up to the door and they took it from there. I elected to wait for the service to be done and I was directed upstairs. The waiting area is much bigger than I am used to with a bunch of different kinds of seating. They even had a table where I was able to get work done on my ipad. As soon as I checked in on yelp, I noticed the multiple bad reviews and started getting nervous. The multiple bad reviews did provide quite a bit of entertainment for me while I waited for at least 20 minutes. The whole thing took about an hour. I was also pleasantly surprised that they did another warranty thing without me even knowing about it or asking for it. Throughout the experience, all of the staff members I interacted with were courteous and friendly. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I took it to the dealership and was told to contact Hyundai corporate about a rental, since they had no loaners. It took 2 weeks before Corporate got back to me and they didn't give me a loaner. Now, after MORE THAN A MONTH the car was almost ready, except they called me saying they needed to put gas in the car. When I questioned why since I left the car with a half a tank, the "service person" had no answer and kept talking over me. One word of advice NEVER, EVER buy a Hyundai, terrible customer service, horrible corporate follow through,

This is a buyer beware message and resembles the shady practices of car dealers back in the 80's…read more Stamford Ford advertised a Ford Raptor as a CPO vehicle with a warranty . I reached out to purchase the truck and worked with Barry Pasqualini-Senior Sales Consultant on the purchase. I confirmed with Barry that there was a 1-year bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle, and also confirmed in writing the same. I offered to pay the full advertised price of $49k, signed a PO, paid a $2k deposit, and had my bank send them a check for the balance via fedex. Several days later I received an email (not even a call) from Barry saying that they are unable to provide the warranty they agreed to on the vehicle but if I was interested i could buy an extended warranty. You agreed to a price and terms, received payment, then tried to change the deal?? Again, this is an old tactic that shady dealers did back in the day, but really a large Ford dealer in Stamford CT? There are many thoughts in my mind but the two unfortunately that seem to fit in this scenario is that Barry found another buyer to pay more than the advertised price or they are just trying con me into buying a warranty. Or any other unresponsible action rather than simply selling a vehicle as advertised and being accountable for your commitments. This is disappointing because it speaks to the culture of the dealership if this is acceptable and you would think that a decision like this would of been reviewed by management which lends itself to being a culture issue which is unacceptable. I had to pay for a stop payment on a $55k check, lose $150 processing fee to my bank, and still have not received my $2k deposit back from the dealer so had to reach out and file a claim with my credit card company. I would hope in todays day in age and with the cost of vehicles that dealers would hold themselves to a higher standard but clearly if Stamford Ford is not. There are plenty of dealers out there, ones that are trustworthy, honest, and stand by what they offer. Do better Stamford Ford

Do to their service and experience I would never recomend anyone to have these headaces. They have terrible service and communication. They are quick to take your money with no real results. At least, that's what I thought. Mazda service showed no concern for my safety or well-being. I first complained about the AC and was dismissed when they "found nothing wrong." When winter came and the heat failed--along with a musty smell--I was told it wasn't urgent: just a duct cleaning and air filter. The earliest appointment that fit their schedule and my request for a loaner was February 9, so I waited five weeks. When I arrived, I was told I couldn't get a loaner because I had my dog with me, and that the repair would cost me. I still don't understand why I should pay for a climate system that's been broken since day one. To make it worse, the air filter was billed separately, nearly doubling the cost. I asked to speak with the service manager, Ivan Cordova, and finally reached him nearly five hours later when I picked up the car. He showed no concern, offered no apology, and when I asked if the problem was fixed after all the complaints and an almost $600 bill, his answer was simply: "No." Now ask yourself: Do I want an unreliable car? Do I want to be treated like this? Do I really want a Mazda?

Frank was very attentive and helpful, getting things set up for us right off the bat, and Ed followed up and checked in with us when we went to test drive and look at the cars. Both Frank and Ed were available, but not in your face, and they had a very nice inventory in addition to their extensive knowledge on different brands. Since I had only planned on simply looking at cars today, I was curious about one I had seen online: a burgundy Subaru Outback Wagon with AWD and EXTREMELY low mileage for its year (2001). We saw that car and another Honda that was in really nice shape as well, but I actually walked away the new proud owner of the Subaru! The value of this car was amazing for the price, and both Frank and Ed worked with my budget to get me the best deal possible. And they definitely delivered. If you are shopping for a car Bianco Auto is the best place to go. You won't feel pressured, get talked into a scam, or receive an unfair deal. They are family owned, want the best for you and your family, and it is very clear that they care about their customers and building relationships with them. Huge thank you to Frank and Ed for all of their assistance, today; it was refreshing to not feel anxious about a process that can be extremely daunting and difficult. Very pleased to have a reliable car again!
