2014 Subaru Impreza Sport model

My entire experience with Stamford Subaru was excellent from start to finish. First, the salesman, Marco Dos Santos was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and a straight shooter about price. The fellow for our used-Subaru trade-in was also great, and then he offered me much more, nearly double, what another dealership offered. Dorota was great with the paperwork end. and I was even introduced to the service people, who I would be using in the future. they even have a program wherein after having the car for two weeks or more, you can come in for them to go over all the bells and whistles. when I was firat told this, I thought it was a nice perk, but an unnecessary silly one. after a week with the car, I can see the value. new cars are much more complicated than my old trade-in. On that note, whereas I didn't Iove our old 2015 Subaru Impreza hatchback, I LOVE this new 2024 model!! They have really improved it! Sum of story. Stamford Subaru treated me extremely well. and Marco, specifically, was excellent! I highly recommend them.

This was the most stress-free, pressure-free car buying experience I've ever had. We had such an excellent experience with Robert Creasy as our sales guys. When I started looking a few months ago my info got sent to local dealers as part of the car buying program I was using. Immediately I got inundated with calls, texts and emails. I replied I was just looking and wasn't ready. Robert was the only one to respect that and not be pushy about when I would be ready. And that won him our business. From the moment we walked in we had his full attention and he was polite, understanding of our needs and prepared, based on the exchanges we had via email. He found us a 2019 Forester Sport that matched everything we wanted, except the color, but we could live with it. So we signed the paperwork. He kept us updated on progress of its arrival and told us we could even bring our dogs on pickup day. They honored the trade in value we had been quoted by another dealership too so it was one stop for us. Excellent, excellent experience. I recommend asking for Robert by name!

We went in to look at a Jetta TDI for my father and spoke to Jesus who let us test drive and inspect the car. Aki and Bennie handled closing the sale and registration. The experience was great through and through. I have spoken to many used car dealers over the years and can say that these guys were very professional, probably even moreso than the people I bought my car from. The car itself was honest and seemed to be as they got it, which is great (lots of dealers wash car and engine bay before putting on lot to signs of use less obvious). There were some other cool cars on the lot, some turbo MINIs and an S5 and a ton of WRXs. We bought and left with the car the same day, and my father loves it. I would not hesitate to go back in the future.

I went on facebook and asked the harbor point group what people recommended for auto repair and the great reviews of scottys caught my eye. I called up scottys and they let me know they were booked for the next 2 days (it was the first) but they said to drop it off and that they would do their best to look at it beforehand. sure enough I got a call the next day with a breakdown of what needed to be done. They gave me an estimate which was HALF WHAT THE JEEP DEALER QUOTED US, plus it didnt include some of the nonsensical stuff they suggested to fix that scottys said did not need to be done. ultimately they were able to get everything done before we headed out for vacation. when I went to go pick it up, they had admitted there was a communication error and that it wasnt ready just yet and that it would be another hour or so. I mentioned that I had just took an uber and had a lot of other things to try to work on and to see if they could try to give me an accurate time estimate. the guy there (isaac i think) just handed me a set of keys and said heres a loaner ill call you! that alone made this a 6 star experience! talk about admitting to a mistake and making up for it with phenomenal service. anywho, i know where ill be getting my oil changed moving forward! thank you guys!

He charged us a ridiculous price for a tire too. When I mentioned another local tire vendor offered much better prices, he said they get cheap, low quality tires from China. We'll, guess where the tire he installed was from. You got it- China. Do not trust this guy.​

Someone rear-ended me in a hit and run on I-95 just two weeks after I had back surgery. It was…read morealready an incredibly stressful time, and unfortunately I had to go to Angelo's for an estimate for my insurance company. From the beginning, I told one of the owners that I already had a body shop in mind and would not be using them for the repairs. I thanked them for their time and they responded, "Don't worry about it, good luck." Everything seemed fine. A couple of weeks later, I received a call from their staff saying my parts were in. I was confused and mentioned that I had been texting with someone named Tommy, who had said parts wouldn't be in for a while. The woman on the phone said she didn't know who that was, then clarified she was calling from Angelo's. I immediately explained -- again -- that I never intended to have my car repaired there. She told me they had already ordered the parts and that I needed to come in. I apologized and explained I was already working with another shop. That's when things turned unpleasant. I was told I needed to pay for the parts they ordered. When I explained that I had clearly stated from the start I would not be using their services, I was told they didn't care and that I "should have been more clear." They have since submitted a $500 bill to a creditor for parts I never authorized. No remorse. No empathy. Just a nasty and unprofessional front office. Be very careful before giving them your information. Make sure everything is documented clearly in writing. This experience added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation.

He sent an estimate directly, & was happy to answer questions. I dropped off the car, & he called 24 hours later with an update. The next day he said my car would be at the AUDI dealership in Greenwich briefly, and he asked the dealership if they could do the outstanding "recalls" on my car while they had it there. Later that day, he said the car might be ready the following day. It was ready, & it was showroom-perfect, inside and out. Lastly, when I initially dropped off the car, there was a "scuff" of white paint on a quarter panel that I did not mention to Jonathan. But when I picked up the car, I noticed that they'd buffed out the white scuff without even mentioning it. Nice. Summary: a rather complex repair was completed masterfully, 2 days earlier than expected; the paint is matched perfectly; random damage on quarter panel erased; and 2 or 3 "recalls" taken care of at the same time. And I was always in the loop, and never worried for a moment. Jonathan is a joy to work with, and a true asset to Pray Body Shop. I am now a customer for life.

Not your father's Body Shop…read more The circumstances that bring the need to visit an auto body shop are never pleasant. Generally, the shop adds to the stress of the situation. Well, Pray Body Shop is different. Completely different! You know that the minute you walk into their professional office. You are greeted professionally and warmly. A staff member discusses your needs, and shares next steps. In my case, the needed work was for a VW Beetle convertible. Pray is a certified VW shop. No used or aftermarket parts can be considered. Pray Body Shop handled that news with the responsible insurance company and the repairs were approved without any involvement or concern by me. What impressed me most was the frequency and quality of the communication from my "advisor", Kathleen. By phone or email, Kathleen kept me up to date and reassured that everything regarding my repair was in good hands. Do not pass up making the most of an unfortunate situation. Use Pray Body Shop without hesitation!
