I was told that the front brakes had plenty of life in them. Next day squealing was as loud as ever. Contacted MBGB and spoke with Vera. She was professional, caring and sympathetic. She had the service manager, Anthony, give me a call and he told me that he would have the technician take a look at the front brakes to see if they could figure out what was wrong. My service adviser, Bill Thompson, called me on Friday, knowing that the storm was coming and had my car picked up on Friday so it could be serviced. My car was delivered on Tuesday with no squealing noise. MB of GB has the most caring people on their staff. Vera, first point of contact, outstanding customer service. Anthony, professional and compassionate and made me feel like a very valued customer. Last but not least, Bill Thompson, a very knowledgeable and kind individual who went out of his way to make sure my car was taken care of. This is a dealership that constantly earns high marks for service, and my experience exemplifies this. I cannot say enough good things about the GBMB team and I will continue to have them service my car because I know that I am in good hands with outstanding, caring and professional service. THANK YOU team MBGB, you are the BEST.

I visited to test drive a vehicle I was seriously considering. I told the salesperson I wanted to start with Lexus, since my past experiences had always been positive. He told me Lexus values repeat customers above all else. That could not have been further from the truth. I had positive equity in my outgoing lease, which I planned to roll into the new one -- but Lexus offered only half the equity I knew I could get elsewhere. When I told the sales rep the offer was insulting and that I was all set for the day, a manager called almost immediately. He laughed when I mentioned a competitor was offering double, telling me "profit is not a dirty word," then bumped his offer by $500 -- still $3,000 short of what I'd been quoted elsewhere. I understand dealerships need to make money, and Lexus stood to profit significantly from my new lease regardless. There was no need to shortchange me on the equity I'd already earned. I'm glad I found another luxury dealer in the area that actually values customer relationships. It's clear the new ownership at Lexus of Westport cares about one thing: the bottom line.

Reason for 4 stars: The first time I came in, it was extremely busy and took hours to get my car tested which is insane. This time around, I learned my lesson and came 15 minutes after they opened. There were already two people waiting and at this time of day, no one was there for inspections until around 7:45. After they started taking cars in, I was only waiting for about 10 minutes. The price is $20 and it's cash only (at least that's what I was told but don't remember paying cash last time). Get in right when they open so you don't have to wait so long (even if they don't start accepting cars until later. There were about 6 people after me).
