Where do I start?! We were looking for a used car and looked like this dealership had a car for us. We drove it and it felt good. No warning lights on. Ed said the car had been recently served. We liked it and decided to buy it. The day after we went to sign the papers and pick up the car. Ed sold us the warranty, saying that there were mechanics all over the country and in the neighborhood who would take that warranty. We trusted him.
That's when the problems started. We took the car and literally on the way home after half a mile 3 warning lights came on: oil change, tire pressure and water fluid. Plus, on the highway, the car felt shaky. It didn't feel good anymore. I called Ed. He said to bring the car back to them and have it checked. And so I did. Once they had the car they kept postponing the pickup time to get the car, and they refused to tell us where the car was (we found out later after constantly asking & only by a slip of the tongue did they mention it was in the bronx which they portrayed as being a local mechanic& get this they didn't even know which location in the bronx it was at!). They just kept saying it's at "our mechanic."
After 2 days of dealing with Ed and Ricky and their lies, we told them to give us the car back. We went to pick it up and guess what? The car was not there. We decided to wait and after one hour a guy showed up with our car. The guy brought back the car with an empty tank of gas. Now we had an empty gas tank(yes they brought it back empty after we had filled it up with our own gas) same shaking, no fluid. They turned off the warning lights but fixed nothing. In all this situation, during the sale they met our daughter (3 years old), and still sold us an unsafe car, that needed to be checked out by a real mechanic (get this the only mechanic in Stamford who takes the warranty is the guy next to Bianco which they didn't even fix the car there which is questionable...so in the future when problems arise we'll have to drive either out of State or 1 hour far to get it fixed by a mechanic who accepts this absolutely useless and expensive warranty Ed sold us) - The real mechanic who looked at our car had to service the car because the oil was black, there was no fluid and the air filter was damaged. It cost us $300.00, money Ed and Frankie could have spent easily, and would have made them honest (because they kept repeating that they serviced the car) and more serious & genuine.
We paid 12k, with a warranty we can't really use, & with a car with a lot of problems that will probably require more money on it. I'm writing this review because I want other people not to make the same mistake, to avoid these people and their boring lies and stories and go to a real dealership, even though it might cost a couple of thousand dollars more. These people at Bianco's are scammers, that's what they were doing in NYC and now they're continuing their craft in Stamford.
Ed, when you read this review and try to beg google to remove it (as you told us you have done many times in the past and continue to do with the bad reviews that you expertly accrue) enjoy the money we gave you. Meanwhile, we have to anticipate the problems that will plague us from the junk you sold us. read more
