This place has been here for some miles pass it all the time, and I don't think. I went to this Harbor Freight on April 14 at 1:57 p.m. to return a product. When I walked in, a guy was standing at an empty register waiting for a cashier to come and help him. When the woman finally came to the front, she had him move to register 1 on the other side of the counter. Me and one other guy followed behind him because the other register wasn't open. Shortly after we moved, a woman came and opened the adjacent register. I wasn't worried about people going ahead of me because I wasn't in a hurry so I stayed put. When I got up to the register, the cashier turned around and said something to the other woman working in Spanish. I began speaking to her, explaining that I had a return, before she interrupted me and uttered something that was inaudible. When I expressed I didn't hear her, she simply said "one line." I was absolutely confused by what she was talking about. I turned around to see that a line had formed at the other register. She was ready to send me to back of the line when I had been second in line the entire time. I simply moved to where the register was open because, had I stayed where I was when she took the customer in front of me, I would have been standing at an empty register. She wasn't even willing to talk to me, it seemed like her main goal was to try to humiliate me in front of everyone, yet she was the one who humiliated herself by not even being able to communicate in full, coherent sentences. Thankfully a couple guys in line spoke up. They spoke to her in Spanish so I[m not quite sure what they said, but it seemed they had told her I had been standing there and wasn't trying to cut line. I asked them if I was good and they shook their heads in agreement. She reluctantly helped me even though she had a major attitude the entire time and clearly didn't want to deal with me. She proceeded to yell "no, no, no" when I went to get out my card to receive the refund. Some stores require this, some don't. Yet again, I got thrown an attitude and yelled at for not knowing how their machines work. Needless to say, I will never go to a Harbor Freight again. If this is the lackluster customer service they provide, I have no desire to save a couple dollars only to be yelled out and shamed in front of other customers. This entire experience was beyond uncomfortable and this woman should be absolutely ashamed of herself for the way she treats customers and probably every other human being close to her in her miserable life. read more

Yea some of the materials may not be top end like you might find at a Home Depot. But the prices are practically in half and the tools get the job done. Simplified buying for tools. I would definitely recommend over major hardware stores- if they have the item you're looking for. This location was clean and well stocked. Sales associates were nice and helpful. I bought an air compressor for $35.00 and was able to get a one year warranty for 99 cents. Also bought cable ties and power strips. It really doesn't matter what I think or say because it seems the norm is the way customer service is handled now days, lazy, disrespectful and condescending. I just described the casher stephony (and I mispelled her name purposely because of her attitude) and alicia the so called wantabe manager who tells me I can't say anything to her I have say it to her when she continues to allow that B$%^* to say things to me to justify her mistake. Asking a question about how much is on a gift card and not getting a response then telling me to scan the card when the price shows up and doing just that. Then handing her a 20%off she starts going on that I needed to give her that first. Excuse me the question was how much is on the gift card! She defend her self over and over mouthing off to me while to manager was telling me not to speak to her the way I was when that egg head was mounthing off and the so called manager didn't repremand her for her mouthing off trying to point the finger in my direction as who to blame for her mistake. The kids who work today and the wantabe managers need more training instead social gathering they continuously have during working periods. Yeah its noticable when they do it when ever or where they want on the sales floor. Rude cashiers deserve all the attitude from customers and the wantabe managers need to take trips to serious training to even become managers not just graduate high school and work on a floor they need to know how to communicate and de-escalate a situation first by telling their employees how not to disrespect customers as such as stephony who probably gave the same attitude to her parents.
