In store with good selection of the basics. They do keys, offer paint, lots of hardware, plumbing and electrical. . But limited on wood. And I have to admit they are pricey compared to Home Depot. They charged me $80 for a gallon of paint that would cost me $40-$50 at the Depot. But that was my mandatory community color and I had to buy it there. They're around the corner though so I do go there when I need something in the middle of a project. Convenient and well-stocked neighborhood hardware store - but watch the prices and compare. read more

I was in need of a car remote battery. The previous staff was very helpful, including offering to change it out for me. This time the cashier said "we do not change these batteries, if they did it previously it was as a FAVOR to you but we don't change them". She said it in a very sarcastic tone...needless to say I left without buying the battery. They have lost a customer and will never set foot in that store again. I'm very pleased and surprised her found this super great gem in the corner of our home it's a hardware housewares gifts paint store owned by a local family fully stocked with everything you need including a very diverse variety of paints and white supply of garden and household goods and items. This store has great opportunity. It's in a busy location and the associates are helpful but the instock level is not where it should be... an example is the outside area where pool chemicals and gardening supplies are located... Major out of stock and shelves really dirty. No maintenance at all.. this could be fixed really easy. I think if the store focused on instock and cleanup on the outside it would keep customers coming back... inside the store had instock opportunity but was neater and more organized.... LOTS OF POTENTIAL. I'll try it again read more

Need better help to customers , I was in the store for a moen positemp cartridge , an they had the old fashion stile cartridge more than 30 but no posi temp I asked he said go to ace , he would not listen to my sugestión to order positemp .so sad read more

My experience has been great every time I go To Miami home centers, the employees are eager to help and friendly and help find you great solutions. The outside section is looking way better since my last visits and is being renovated quite nicely I always find what I need sometime there out of a few items but the employees always make sure to order them or find great alternatives. Remember the days of the friendly neighborhood hardware store? Ace Home Center aims for just that. I needed air filters for my AC, and not being a fan of driving to some of the larger "Home Depot" or "Lowes", I checked out this local place located conveniently near my house. Price wise, they're a little more expensive than the other big box stores, but not by much. They excel in service and convenience where the others fail to impress. The staff is proactive, friendly, and eager to help you. They offer suggestions and work with you to arrive at practical solutions for your budget and level of expertise. I'm a big fan of shopping local. I was surprised to find out that every one of these stores is independently owned and supports the local communities in which they serve. This is a really great hardware/home center. They opened Dec 23 but their grand opening will be February 25, 26... they have a couple events planned for that day so come and check it out. They have all the necessities and more. The employees are amazing. You will always get help and they are very attentive and informed and will try their hardest to make sure you leave happy. The store is split in two. Half the store focuses on the traditional hardware, tools, plumbing, etc. The other half focuses on home and home decor. At the back of the store is the Benjamin Moore Paint section. They are currently constructing a lawn and garden section which will be stationed outside. As of right now all their lawn in garden is in a storage room which customers are still invited to walk through if they need to make any purchases. Overall this is a great store that you can find almost anything you need for your home. Even if you can't find something you can always talk to an associate or salesperson who will have no problem getting your items shipped to the store for you (usually without shipping cost!). read more

Bought a piece to fix the toilet, when attempting to install realized that the piece I bought was defective and couldn't get the nut off of the threads since they were stripped. Took the piece with receipt to the store tried to explain to the cashier but during my explanation thought it was more important to answer the phone and talk. I came back after gather a few items and now a new girl was at the register. This cashier told me the manager said NO to my return which I just wanted to exchange. I left called the store to speak to the manager but he was on break. This placed opened up earlier this year but I have already gotten much use from it. Besides the fact it's literally two blocks away from my house, this ACE is not huge but the space is used as efficiently as possible. It's clean, organized, and well stocked. I haven't ran into anything they do not carry and I hope that continues. If you live in this area, you are aware that this area needed a hardware store and ACE came through with this location. I'll be a customer for years to come if my first few impressions are an indication of what this place is capable of. read more

Ace Home Center is basically a classier, more condensed version of Home Depot. And I don't mean classier in a bad way. I just mean that the place seems fresher because they have hardwood floors, and everything is so well-organized. Whenever I step into this Ace Home Center, I can usually find whatever I need in 10 minutes or less compared to Home Depot's long and large aisles. What Home Depot does better is that they have much more selection and inventory, but this Ace Home Center should have whatever you need.
