The only issue I've ever had at Lowe's is with an online promotion that this local store seems to not honor. They were giving away a free head lamp. I received my confirmation email which advised the date and time frame to pick it up. However I got to the store the customer service rep told me she didn't know what I was talking about. I showed her the email and she referred me to someone else who advised they didn't get any. Not sure why I was emailed twice to remind me to go pick it up on the said date and time. I was quite perturbed that I wasted my time and gas going there.

He got me a L bracket and some screws and told me if it did not work to take back to any location. I worked on the shelf for a minute because I actually thought some brackets from another item I had would work since it had a level end but it didn't. Kevin was super amazing and wanted to know if things worked out. It did. I however had to take back his bracket and screws to the other closest location to get it right. Thanks so much Kevin. Just wanted to warn everyone about Macon Doors and Hardware. My husband and I placed an order with…read morethem on 6-24-26 and paid a $2000.00 deposit. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks for our order to be ready. Here we are 5 weeks later with no material. Not once did they reach out to give us updates. My husband has called them multiple times and is told "should be tomorrow" or "should be next week" or like yesterday, we were told "SHOULD be Friday" at this point we were done. We found a new company to get the doors from. I called to request a refund and after speaking with the owner, Rick Stevens, he agreed. Within the hour he called back to deny the refund and suddenly everything was ready for pickup. There is no "non refundable deposit" anywhere on our paperwork. We drove out there today to talk to him in person before we took things further. We gave him ample opportunity to refund us. Ended up calling the Sherrifs office to make and report then headed straight to the courthouse to file with small claims.

I found a guy that worked there who was already in the shoe isle. I asked him for help, he was busy chatting on his phone before he even acknowledged me, and when I told him the situation, he told me to "just check behind the boxes lower down that you can reach and maybe you'll find one." Naturally I did that first before asking for help. I told him I did that and only see the 1 display box that had the other shoe in it. He told me " Its probably not even in there." He would not help me. SO I went to the counter and returned my shoes rather than giving them anymore of my money. I told the guy at the counter that I wanted to just return because nobody was willing to help me. All he said was :Sorry bout that." I wont be shopping there again which sucks because I spend alot of money there.
