I needed a specific time frame and that was because I was working. I received an estimate of 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. which was perfect because I could get home from work. I requested the last delivery. I started getting phone calls at work at 11:15ish asked again to be put on the last spot for delivery. I got a lot of negative responses from the delivery team. My salesperson followed up and called me around 2:00 p.m. and said that the delivery would take place at 2:15 p.m. which was perfect. When I arrived home they were putting my mattresses on the front door area. It's a good thing I showed up at 2:15 or I would have had to bring the mattress in by myself I think I'm the customer and I paid for this mattressand I had a specific time frame because of my work schedule. I think next time I will go to a store that can give me the delivery when I am able to be home. There was no flexibility.

But what really disappoints me is the price inflation/gouging these stores inflict on their customers or in my case non-customers. $530 "reduced" price for a fabric covered ottoman is insulting. We need an American Furniture Warehouse (or similar size) to help cost-conscious buyers have a choice/variety of quality items. I saw the same type/quality here for literally 3X the purchase price in AZ at the AFW stores. To be fair, Badcock isn't much better. I will say that the place is spotless and well managed - I wasn't hounded at Turners which is KEY for keeping me in your store. Thank you for that.

Back in August of 2023 we purchased a two piece sofa set. We were told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery…read more We were only told it was available in brown only. Well as you can see from photo and beautiful dark blue is also available. You will notice there are no tags to identify the products source so that you can search on line for the best deal or quality of the product before purchase. If we had shopped on line we would have save $600 on each piece and had product in 2 to 4 weeks. Follow up calls resulted in "We will call you when its ready" Not until we pushed did we get a call saying it was being built the next day and would ship to us in a week. Customer service extremely lacking and the Guardsman Protection plan is a waste of money. over 600 complaints with the Grand Rapids location in 3 years. All rating where a one because they couldn't give them a "0". Save you money and shop else where.

They checked on us to make sure we didn't have any questions and explained their sales very well. We even had an exceptional experience with the delivery guys. They were on time, courteous and even put my mattress I didn't purchase from them on the bed frame. I would recommend their prices and quality of their furniture over anyone. We shopped 5 different stores before finally deciding on Home Furniture.

Ordered a hooker furniture console in august 2024. Delivered in September 2024 damaged. Mobley said…read morewould reorder and that we could keep one damaged until ne wone came in. Told new one would be in around December. Received call that unit still on backorder and would be in around February. It is now February 15th, 2025 and no word on replacement . I called today to check on status and encountered a view rude associate when I ask about the status. She replied to me that she was sure that it was ordered and someone would call when it came in. At that point, I politely ask her could she check to see if it was truly reordered and she very rudely said that is waht we are in the business of by placing orders. At this point, I replied I understand but could it have gotten not reordered. I told her from her tone to me that she did not have to cop an attitude. At this point, she said I will have the manager call you and she hung up. What horrible person to employ that treats customers like that. However, Mr. Evans Ben immediately called me back and was very courteous and said it had just come in last week and said it had not been unboxed. He said delivery would be made next week. I advised him of my conversation and he said he would take care of that situation. I have done business here for years, no more.
