Most of the appliances that I have ordered there for my two condos did not show up on time. I received an automated messages stating that deliveries were coming the next day, only to have nothing show up. On another occasion I got an automated message stating that the delivery was coming the next day. I panicked as I was not in town. I spoke with a Lowe's manager who promised me that nothing was being delivered the next day. Unfortunately two appliances showed up when I was 200 miles away. I ordered a dishwasher which had a problem with the latching mechanism. As a result it would fill with water and turn off without draining. Lowe's wanted me to get it repaired. That turned into a real circus with a repair man showing up twice without the required supplies. Finally a month later I talked to the right person at Lowes who replaced the dishwasher. I do not know why they wouldn't replace it when I first reported the issue. Lowes is convenient if you live in the Rockport/Port Aransas/Aransas Pass area. But realize that you will not get AAA service.They blame the issues on supply chains, third-party delivery companies,, automated phone messages from third parties over which they have no control etc. The bottom line complaint that I have had is that they do not take ownership of the issues until you get out to the general manager level But I will keep going back as it is the only show in town and the folks are all friendly

There's not many options in the small town of Sinton, but these guys really know their stuff, and have a great store. Their selection is right on- they have everything from home improvement supplies, to farm and ranch materials. They sell stuff for hunters, as well as a weekend warrior DIYer. The staff was fast and efficient checking out the long line of people who were coming in for storm materials in preparation for the upcoming hurricane. They had long sold out of plywood and sandbags, but were helpful with coming up with creative alternatives, like trashbags that you can fill up down the street with sand, or chicken wire to keep things pinned down in high winds. The prices were fair, and there is plenty of parking- especially if you use the empty service station next door. They have a back area that they can load things into your pickup truck using a forklift. Whether your needs are big or small, Troop on down to Troup Hardware!

It was like in a weird corner of a lot, nestled in between a car shop, and a Valero gas station. The parking situation is weird. They share parking with the car shop, but the signs on the car shop says you will het towed. The owners said they share the parking. We ended up parking in there little area. They have two small enclosed area to walk around and look at all they have. They also have a couple of areas to walk around outside. Just be warned, this place gets hot. They have fans, but all they do is blow hot air. So there are a lot of things to look at. We bought a cross with a cardinal drawn on it. Our friend said this place was reasonably priced, but I didn't think so.

This store has everything made in & imported from many different areas of Mexico. It is huge but well organized and the owner is knowledgeable about where her inventory comes from. The prices are reasonable, much less than I've found in SA's stores. I did buy a 28" tree and love it! Actually went back on another visit yesterday & bought another one for a friend yesterday after she loved mine. I had already bought the colored bulbs for it at Lowe's bf I went by the store and her son put them in for me. It's larger, 42" and even more beautiful than the one I bought, and until my frdecides which one she wants, they're both in my home. Thanks for a great shopping experience.
