The folks in the store are all very nice. The general manager is extremely accommodating. But they are having real issues with their phone service and their supply chain. Most of the appliances that I have ordered there for my two condos did not show up on time. I received an automated messages stating that deliveries were coming the next day, only to have nothing show up. On another occasion I got an automated message stating that the delivery was coming the next day. I panicked as I was not in town. I spoke with a Lowe's manager who promised me that nothing was being delivered the next day. Unfortunately two appliances showed up when I was 200 miles away. I ordered a dishwasher which had a problem with the latching mechanism. As a result it would fill with water and turn off without draining. Lowe's wanted me to get it repaired. That turned into a real circus with a repair man showing up twice without the required supplies. Finally a month later I talked to the right person at Lowes who replaced the dishwasher. I do not know why they wouldn't replace it when I first reported the issue. Lowes is convenient if you live in the Rockport/Port Aransas/Aransas Pass area. But realize that you will not get AAA service.They blame the issues on supply chains, third-party delivery companies,, automated phone messages from third parties over which they have no control etc. The bottom line complaint that I have had is that they do not take ownership of the issues until you get out to the general manager level But I will keep going back as it is the only show in town and the folks are all friendly read more

Not All, but 80% of the associates at this store are rude, unconcerned, and extremely unhelpful. Partner that with constant mispricing, (at checkout prices are always more than prices at the shelf)...we are so over Lowe's. We now are going to travel to Corpus to Home Depot for our needs. could not find a flat cart. walked the whole store. I used to work at a Lowe's in new Braunfels they had flat carts stacked all throughout the flooring section and bathrooms. We walked the whole store and couldn't find a cart.. Had to leave with less than what we wanted originally because we could not fit it on our cart and we had two small children with us.. Frustrating line backed up at self check out. Very small space and people stacked up.. no one to check you out ..frustrating again. Waited through the line twice none before an employee stepped behind a registered to check me out ... The sign that said "cash or check" was 3 feet above the register and sooo small. Frustrated again... Called and asked to speak to a Manager when I got home. I Was polite, but expressed that I had a bad experience also recommend that maybe they could order way more flat carts and repost signs lower and larger that said cash or card. I expressed that I used to work at a Lowe's and flat carts were always stacked in flooring abs bath where I used to work. Also that the check out was a pretty unpleasant experience. The manager could not be more uninterested. I'm returning my large items tomorrow and going to Home Depot.. cutting up my Lowe's card. I'm disappointed. Bought a sink disposal at Lowes, and paid them to install it. First appointment was a no show. Also plumber that was supposed to do the job wasn't even in my area. I was rescheduled for today. Appointment time was confirmed 3 times, and then at last minute appointment time was changed. When I called Angi's installation service, could barely understand the agent in Cambodia, and was told that they had no installer to do the job, despite being confirmed multiple times. Once again, I was rescheduled, but with no guarantee they could find a plumber who would do the job. I finally installed the disposal myself. I'm a longtime Lowes customer, but would never recommend their installation service provided by Angis Lowes. A total joke. Except it wasn't funny. read more

I was a bit disappointed with this Lowe's. This place seems to be one of the few ones on the whole coastal bend. There's ProBuild and Ace Hardware in Rockport, but even they run out of stuff in a supply chain crunch. It's apparent that this place also is being hit with short-staffed with a lack of employees. Shelves are empty as are the aisles, lacking any help. This store location seems to be considerably smaller than other locations in bigger markets. They seem to focus more on the renovations side of things, instead of building materials. They're notoriously short on building materials in times of need. I understand Ellen DeGeneres and Lowe's chipped in to rebuild the Lady Pirates volleyball gymnasium in Rockport! I don't like how there's a bunch of birds that seem to live in this store. read more

What can they improve? Everything. It's the biggest mess in every aspect of the business. Employees arguing in front of customers. Nobody knows what's going on or where to tell customers to go. Forklifts going all over the place with no purpose. Losing orders. Moving vehicles around without making any sense in the loading area. Dropping things off of forklifts. Etc. Pro member here. We go often for material while building a house...not close by. We wait forever on materials. Decided to preorder. Get there, and not only are we waiting forever, but they forgot some of the boxes, waited forever again, no help loading (had to do it ourselves) and then we get a call after 9pm that they loaded two pallets of flooring (wrapped) that belonged to someone else...asking us to load it and bring it back!!! Are you serious?! Avoid this Lowe's if possible. Horrible experience time and time again. Spend the time and money to drive to a larger city if you want acceptable service and materials. read more

I am an 80 year old senior lady. I needed some pallets(free) Rosemary, Crystal, Marvin and Jordan (employees of Lowes) came to my rescue and got me approved for 4 free pallets. They then came out into this horrid heat (6/21/23) in South Texas and loaded the pallents onto my truck. I give the 4 employees 10+ for courtesy and kindness. Took over 20 minutes to find a manager inn no the store for a return. Store was dead. Employees everywhere and phones ringing off the hook. No one cares about the customer at this store in Aransas Pass TX. Found out where all the managers were. In a meeting at 3pm laughing a scratching with 10 employees. At checkout 30 minutes later (after meeting was over), there were a dozen people standing in line at self checkout (the only checkout open). Half of us needed military discount assistance. I bought a kobalt battery operated weed eater in October 2019. In May of 2020 the bump feed on the head of the weed eater was broken and would not feed the string. I brought it back to Lowe's in Aransas pass after calling the Kobalt extended warranty number and getting a reference number. I spoke with Mary Kay and she did everything she could to help me out. I really appreciate her and her exceptional customer service. She got the job done and was able to get my weedeater exchanged for a new one. Thanks again Mary Kay keep up the great work. read more

My husband and I bought a GE 14000 BTU Window AC from here on June 27, 2020. We tried to return it to the store on August 1, 2020 because the LED Display went out and you could not see what settings you had the AC on, Lowe's told us they only had a 30 day warranty and we had to send it back to the manufacturer. The paperwork, that came with the AC said there was a 90 day warranty to return it to the original store it was purchased from. That was shown to Lowe's employee's and even though the paperwork that came with the unit clearly stated to return the item back to the original place it was purchased for a replacement, along with the original receipt and a brief description of the issue, they still said we had to send it back to the manufacturer. Even after calling the phone number that was was on the paperwork, that came with the AC, and the recording said to RETURN IT TO THE ORIGINAL STORE IT WAS PURCHASED IF WITHIN THE 90 DAYS, Lowe's still said we had to send it back to the manufacturer. If Lowe's can not warranty the Products Manufacture's Warranty they shouldn't carry that product. Needless to say, we had to purchase another AC unit, from a different Home Improvement Franchise and we are still going to have to send this one back to the Manufacturer, which is going to cost even more money. I would suggest to anyone who plans to spend quite a bit of money in a Lowe's store, to take your business to a different Home Improvement Franchise. read more

Oh, this is a great place to buy plants!! There's a huge advantage to shopping at national chain stores in small towns. First of all, they're clean and well stocked. The staff are ready and eager to assist you. It appears that these places do have downtime for their employees so they get to enjoy a variety of tasks and not be standing on their feet in one place all day long. The plants I found were two matching tray beds in a beautiful copper like container. Plus they were on clearance. They had a large selection on clearance. I went into the main part of the store but I only bought the plants that day. I like what I saw. Every one was certainly relaxed. We call it "Island Time." That's a nice way to put we're "never in a rush here." I guess that living as near to paradise as is possible, it was never intended to be stressful. Oh, if every city could incorporate that as their master plan, we would all be happy. read more

I placed several phone calls to this Lowe's and received no answer in either the home decor or customer service. I understand someone not manning home decor department phone but the customer service line should be manned and an actual human being should kindly answer the line which is not happening here (NO customer service). Purchased a refridgerator over two weeks ago. Also purchased the ice maker. Was told the ice maker needed to be ordered but would have in two weeks. Fridge was promised in two days. I won't go into all the issues I ad in getting the refridgerator but finally got it delivered in two days. I have probably made 12 to 14 calls in the last several days to see when the ice maker would be received and installed. Most calls go to appliance department and no one answers. When someone answers on the general number they give me incorrect info or don't know when it will be delivered. Left a message for the store manager to call me 4 days ago and d I did not get a call. The next day finally got someone who said they would have the salesperson call me and again no one called. After multiple calls today and no answer I called the corporate office. Person reviewed the order and called the vendor who would ship the item to Lowes and was informed they never got the order. She called store with me on the line and spoke to a person who said she doesn't think they even make that ice maker anymore. She couldn't find a replacement and said had to transfer me to the shipping Mgr which immediately rang and no one picked up. WORST SERVICE I have ever received. On a friday I purchased 2 gallons of a deck paint at the Lowes in AP. Was short a gallon for my project by Sunday and had to go back. Victoria at the paint department told me she couldnt give me the color i had just gotten. I told her the situation and said she couldnt do it and to bring old can back. Problem was It took me 50 miles of driving to do it. So after I went back got the can with the color name markered on the lid, magically she was able to do it. My boyfriend is building a drawer storage system in the back of his truck and he knew what he wanted but a few people in lumber gave him some great advice and helped him find the lumber that was best for what he wanted to do. They really listened and tried to relate with what he was doing with the project to give him the best advice. A young man named Conner in lumber also cut our wood for us and did a fantastic job. I have shopped at this store for years, however after todays ex[perience i serious doubt i will be returning. No one employee seems to know what they are doing. A simple checkout transaction took the better part of half and hour due to employees lack of training, lack of knowledge and seemingly total lack of interest in completing a transaction correctly even with a supervisor present an over seeing the process. Terrible Customer Service. Bought a Freezer on the 30th of June with a delivery date of 13 July. Lowes did not call with an expected delivery time on the 12th nor on the 13th. When I called at noon and asked they didn't know but it would be sometime before Sundown! I asked about delivery on the 14th early but was told not before 10 AM. Last time I will be using Aransas Pass Lowes I have had 3 deliveries from Lowes in CC in the last month that have been on time with a phone call the day before delivery, the morning of, and a call from the driver when he was 30 min away. read more

If I could give a minus 100, I would. In January 2021, we went to the Lowes in Aransas Pass and ordered the Stainmaster with Pet Guard carpet to be installed in our home in Rockport. It was scheduled to be installed on Jan 28th, 2021. We called a few days prior to make sure that everything was still set and the flooring department told us that the carpet was backordered and it may be a few months before they could get it in. The flooring manager told us that we could come in and pick something else out that would be quicker to get from the manufacturer. I went into the store shortly thereafter and picked a cheaper grade of carpet that was still Stainmaster but no with Pet Guard. This carpet was a lower grade of carpet than the original we picked out. In fact, the person who helped us stated that we would save lots of money by going with this carpet. The original cost of everything was about 2713.39 on 1/14/21. On Feb 8, 2021, Lowes charged us 1714.68 and then credited 1714.68 back on the same day. The 1714.68 is what we should have paid for everything with the 2nd carpet that we purchased and had installed. Instead, they left the 2713.39 charge on our card for the original carpet that we purchased. We have had several conversations with the Flooring manager as well as the person we purchased the carpet from and the person who told us to come in and pick out another flooring. Over the last 3 weeks, the Store Manager, Dave, has supposedly been working on it but he seems to be avoiding us most of the time or he never works because he is never there. The last conversation we had with him about 10-12 days ago was that this would be an easy fix and he would take care of it. We are owed the difference in the carpet that we settled for and the carpet we originally purchased. No one at Lowes will take care of this for us. As a result, we feel that we have to file a grievance against them. This should have been handled on the day that Lowes changed out the carpet order for us. We have been fighting since to get our money back. We are at the point where we would love for them to just come back and pick up their carpet and we will find someone who will not cheat us and who has respect for their customers. read more

"FREE" Delivery has already cost me an entire days work.. AND no appliance.... I'm still waiting... * 6:15 PM.... still waiting.......... * Called 1-800 number and got some relief. The refrigerator will be delivered tonight! ETA, unknown. 8:46 pm .... still waiting..... P.S. my four coolers have long since ran out of ice. I have been 'on call' since 8 am for this delivery. Cannot go out to get ice refills. All the food is now toast!!! 7:54 a.m. Delivery Manager calls. Asks if I'm going to be home today.. In the interest of fairness, I was contacted by the store Manager today. He was asked me to suggest a remedy. We came to a mutually agreeable amount ($) that satisfied us both. read more

We purchased a brand new Frigidaire fridge from this Lowes, paid cash, and bought the 5 yr extended warranty for $150.00 Just recently we had a storm and the electronic board, located just 2 or 3 inches off the floor under the refrigerator burned up. The ridiculous design, the location of the electronic board, is not Lowe's fault. But here's the rub. They only have ONE appliance company contracted to take care of their warranties! L & W Appliance in Rockport. When we contacted L&W they said they could not come to Port Aransas until Friday, our refrigerator went out on Monday. Once they came out and found the board was fried they said they would order a new one that day and it would be in on the following Tuesday. We are on day 10 of no part, no repair, no working fridge! We have spent $21.00 a day for 10 days on dry ice to preserve the food in our refrigerator. Lowe's of Aransas Pass, I think you should contract more than ONE appliance company to service your appliance customers, and that you should vet them carefully to make sure they are reliable and can do their job in a timely manner. Are you even following up on customers who have called you and reported an appliance outage? We certainly have not had a follow up call from you. L & W of Rockport, you dropped the ball. Either you did not order the part when you said you did, or you do not know your supplier well and should consider other suppliers. Either way, in my opinion, you are not running your service in an efficient manner and now, the warranty that we purchased has increased from $150.00 to $360.00 and counting....
