Valentina & Alfonso were amazing with their service and meeting our needs. The ambiance was great and the food was top notch! The smoked salmon and prosciutto were the best I've ever tasted.

Guacamole to start. Absolutely excellent! Hope made chips and the guacamole was fresh and slightly unique.

2nd visit increased from the first one. They appear to have changed the menu while also bringing the price point down which is a good idea if they want to benefit from neighborhood business too. Our meals were excellent and we will be back.

I have driven passed this place a million times but just never stopped. It appears to be, and is, a hotel /spa/ horse arena/ restaurant. I just felt like maybe I didn't belong. Lord was I wrong. It was 8:30 Friday night and my wife called to make sure they were open. They said they didn't close until 9:00 and for us to come on. We ended up staying until about 10:15pm, but they were thankful for our business. Its a really neat drive into the entrance, which is beautiful. We walked in, were immediately greeted and seated in a beautiful table for two. The ambiance is ornate, yet cozy. The bartender/ manager was friendly, attentive and informative. We ordered a "small" charcuterie to get started. My only complaint is that it was huge and delicious. Anything but "small". We then shared a salad, which was absolutely delicious and fresh. Then we shared a filet. It was perfectly prepared, and the sides were delicious. The prices were extremely reasonableFilet. Again, the bartender/ manager was attentive and friendly throughout. This just may be our new go to place, and I wont have to go to that ridiculously horrible 2920 Roadhouse anymore!

    The whole time...

Wish I could give no stars. This is a terrible restaurant. Terrible service. Food took forever -- and it was cold. Never got waters refilled once. Only one wait staff was in the restaurant and she was on her phone hiding behind cash register. There was one other table. It was weird. The appetizers were not great -- the dips were tiny portions and they were weird flavors. The guacamole bruschetta was good. The coconut fried shrimp was ok. The side of salad was very good - it had mayo and grapes. My green enchiladas were disgusting. Way too citrusy. The tortillas were terrible and the black beans turned out to be refried beans -- and they were out of jalapeños? At least the waitress took off the $10 enchiladas bec I didn't eat them -- the cheese had that look of melting and then getting cold and being gross.

    Highly recommended.....

The hostess stand was warm and welcoming, and we were seated immediately. It was just me and my daughter enjoying a little day together after her appointment nearby, and I'm so glad we decided to stop by. I've always loved this location -- the aesthetics are beautiful, and the greenery throughout the restaurant creates such a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. We started with the cheese pupusas, and they were amazing! My daughter (who's in culinary at school) had actually made pupusas in her kitchen lab that same day, so she convinced me we had to try them -- and she was right. They were absolutely delicious and the perfect appetizer to share. For our entrées, she ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and said they were really good. I had the garden green salad topped with grilled shrimp and grilled chicken -- so flavorful! The sauce on the salad was amazing, and I also ordered chimichurri on the side, which made it even better. The service truly stood out. Our waiter was welcoming and attentive, and we even had two managers stop by to check on us, which made us feel valued. It was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. This visit was definitely better than our last one several months ago -- it felt superb this time. We will absolutely be back!

There were seven of us that showed up at 4 PM on Saturday. They weren't busy but took a while to get the table. My two children were with me and after asking a fourth time, I finally got a highchair, but they still didn't bring the booster seat for my son. I ordered the enchiladas and a mango margarita. The enchiladas à la Gloria were barely warm and the tortilla was tough and dry. My mango margarita was not good. I took four sips and that was it. My mother-in-law ordered the seafood soup, and it was scalding hot. She couldn't even eat it until the rest of us were already done. We ordered two orders of fried plantains (the chips) and just did not feel it was good value for the cost.

I wasn't able to explore the baked goods that were on display but they all looked great so I will try some the next time I visit. My friend who is a regular here recommended the Bandejita and I'm already looking forward to the next time I come to Little Colombia because it was fantastic. This dish has variety- beans, arepa, rice, plantain, avocado, egg, pork belly, sausage, and steak (you can also choose chicken). All of this for only $13.99! And the taste? Delightful. The sausage had a nice crispy exterior, the steak paired well with the spicy salsa that came with the dish, and the pork belly was nice and crispy. The only thing I wish was different about the pork was the gaimy aftertaste (I'm personally just super picky with pork and need it to be thoroughly washed and blanched). But my friend ate my leftover pork belly and she thoroughly enjoyed it- all just personal preference. Aside from that, the rice, beans, plantains, etc were delicious. Not only was the food superb, the service here was lovely. Everyone here was very welcoming, kind, and funny. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and lovely service- what more can you ask for!

I finally made the drive down 1488, but was a bit saddened by the events. Attempt #1: I drove over, put in my order and waited. A few minutes later, my buzzer went off and I was told that the gas for their stove top ran out and that they would have to refund me. It's unfortunate and it happens, but it was definitely not ideal since I drove 15-20 minutes just for this. Attempt #2: I sat in awful traffic on my way here that made my commute about 30 minutes. And then I waited another 20+ for my food after ordering, which I definitely did not expect. When I got home, I was pretty unimpressed with my pepito. And my wife felt the same about her California hot dog. I know this is about as small a business as they come and I hate to be too harsh, so I'll just leave my rating at 3-stars, though it's a bit of a round-up.
