I understand being careful and thorough, but I felt like I went to a Toyota dealership and was only quoted Maserati prices. This was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. There is nothing scarier and weirder than a…read moreman who will not take no for an answer. I was charged $2807 to replace 6 outlets. Incredibly overpriced in my opinion along with other electrician company I contacted. But honestly that wasn't the main issue. This was maybe the most annoying and oddest consultation of my life. From the very beginning I was being very clear that I only wanted my outlets replaced, nothing else. I reiterated this verbally in person. The technician, kept on trying to sell me a membership and additional services. I would say "I just want my outlets fixed" and then he would completely ignore me and go on to sell me about replacing the circuits. This happened over and over again. I would say "please I don't want this service" and then he would just go right back to other services. I actually couldn't believe what was happening. I was incredibly uncomfortable the entire time. For the 4th time, I was again very direct in not wanting any additional work. I literally said "I do not care for anything but the outlets". But he just didn't care and kept going for 15 minutes about working on my panel. Like oh my god, what is happening. It was additionally rude when I told him I was on a time crunch but then he still spent 30-40 mins creating an additional 4 quotes for the work that I insisted I didn't want. They straight up did not care about me and what I wanted. He kept saying I'm the top priority while also completely disregarding what I do not want. If a customer tells you to stop, please stop. I was incredibly upfront with the services that I wanted but this guy was on a mission to charge me $9356. I ultimately didn't continue with this company and reached out to another one who did the work for $300, which was the quote I also received from other electricians in the area. I truly do not know how they justify charging $2807 for only 6 outlets. Listen to the other reviewers. I had the same experience of the worker just looking for upgrades rather than what I called for. He spent nearly 20 minutes analyzing my electrical panels to see where he can charge me additional services after I just told him I only want the outlets. Stop trying to phrase this is for your customers when you blatantly ignore their needs and wants. This was such a weird experience and I lost $89 for the dispatch fee.

We have an infant son so this was a major problem and I got a lot of estimates from different companies about what to do with the problem and how to fix it. We looked for bids from 4 different HVAC companies to install a system or systems to reduce our energy costs in the winter and give the house A/C in the summer. The bid from Ambient was on par with everyone else but we liked our interaction with Bryan and wanted to support a smaller, local company that would hopefully be responsive to any issues or problems that arose. We are glad we went with them. The guys at Ambient installed 2 full mini-split systems (2 exterior units and 8 interior units) in our old home. It was a lot of work for the install and a lot of work getting them setup correctly. Bryan and his guys were timely & responsive through the whole process. Even when a late phone call from me would probably go to voicemail with any other company, Bryan still answered and was quick to fix our issue. We have already recommend Ambient to other friends who have needed work done. We will continue to recommend them to others too.

Valter, his apprentice, and his daughter, Raquel, are an amazing team of qualified professionals. When it comes to plumbing and electrical in my home, I want nothing short of the best, most creative, licensed and bonded professionals available. Walter is a master electrician and it shows. The first job they did for us was the "heavy-up" of the electrical panel in our home. Since then we've had them out more times than I can count - so much that a neighbor contacted us after noticing that their van was at our house so much. We are heavy electrical users and they do it all. They've done small jobs like installing new lighting and outlets and large jobs like the "heavy-up" and re-wiring our cable/internet to address the menagerie of wires from providers who had left a tangled mess of wires over the decades.
