So, I stopped in Happy's because I wanted Rib Tips. On their counter are 2 fake $1 bills. I pushed it towards the cashier who responds with an attitude and tone telling me it's fake. Needless to say, I left. I went back maybe 1.5 weeks later to order pizza and get the rib tops I wanted 2 weeks prior. The cashier was so ridiculously unfriendly!!! I ordered a pizza and 1lb of tips. He said 15 mins, it took 25. 2 days later, the tips are still in my fridge because they are horribly dry, tough, and flavorless!! Which is EXACTLY HOW THEY WERE SERVED TO ME!!! This is an updated review form a few days ago. My husband and I took the chicken we ordered back and the manager did give us a refund on it. Seems like he was stressed to the max. He was cooperative on giving us our money back without question. He did see what we told the worker about the chicken not being done thoroughly. FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Stayed a couple days in Lansing for my oldest sons birthday at the Causeway Bay Hotel. Was told it would take 45 mins to over an hour and got in in under 30 mins. Heard from multiple if we got the chance to order from Happy's Pizza. So glad we did. The lady we talked to on the was very nice and gave us some recommendations of some things to try. I got the full rack of ribs and they fell right off the bone it was so good. The BBQ sauce was on point!! My wife got the Itallian sub (her #1 favorite) and she absolutely loved it. We got the kids the triple cheese bread and banana pudding which they devoured. Most definitely will be ordering from this establishment again. Keep it lit!!!! read more

The chicken wings were so unbelievably fatty and salty with just the house bland dry rub. Ordered the 2-lb wing special and couldn't even eat hardly any of it. The only saving grace was their "Famous BBQ" sauce which had the right amount of kick and if they weren't so fatty could've enjoyed eating the outside breading. The "Honey BBQ" sauce tasted awful and that's usually what I usually am able to compare all BBQ places by the Honey BBQ sauce being it should taste somewhat similar. Was overall very disappointed in this food. All the sauces are sold individually so for it to taste so bad it won't get my business again. read more

The first time we went it was really good. We ordered two Italian subs. The menu says they come toasted. When we got home not only were they not toasted but they barely had anything on them. One did not even have the banana pepper rings. We called up there and the person we spoke with said it was ordered that way. It wasn't. Whoever punched the order in for some reason listed not toasted. He said to bring them back up right then and they would toast them. It was late and we had to be up in a few hours for work. No offer of a discount or anything on next order. He hung up on us. Needless to say these subs are pretty awful not toasted so you might want to make sure when you order so they are actually following their own menu. We decided we won't be back. Having had Happy's Ribs several time, they are really good... when they arrive hot and freshly cooked. Over the past half dozen online orders (yes, I know, I should've learned my lesson by the second or even third incident), The food arrives 2 hours (or longer) after I placed my order. This latest (and last) order is as follows: At the 1 hour and 15 minute mark, I call the restaurant. There caller ID must automatically link me to my online order. The young lady answers the phone and immediately says something along the lines of "we are sorry your order has taken so long, we are short on drivers, we remade your order and it is on the way." 45 minutes later, it shows up... cold. As if it has been sitting out for 2 hours. The other times it was late they had other excuses... our fax machine was unplugged, the driver delivered to the wrong house, or we never received an order. Every time they were late, I was never compensated. I was stuck with cold food. This place is a joke. Take your business elsewhere. You will regret going here. read more

I wish I didn't have to give them a star, they deserve none! After waiting over an hour for delivery, the pizza I ordered was rotten. Not sure if it was the dough, the sauce, or the toppings or maybe a combination of all 3. After eating a half of a slice I put mine down due to the rank taste. However, my boyfriend inhaled 1 and a half slice before he realized it's was no good. He became sick with in a couple hours. Now Mikey (the roomate) scarfed down several slices and Mikey became very sick. (Coming out both ends) I spoke with management but wasn't able to call untill the next day. The manager basically called me a liar, and started to yell at me. My main concern was the fact they were selling rotten food. They refused to refund my pizza.. they were very very rude! WOW! The rudeness of the Manager Roy was ridiculous! I ordered a chicken salad at 7pm which didn't have the chicken when it was delivered at 8pm. No big deal. This Happy's is notorious for forgetting things or straight up wrong orders. However, they typically correct their mistakes in a timely and friendly manner. So I call and I ask for chicken for my salad. They state they will bring it but need my salad. Um, ok. At 9pm my salad hasn't shown up so I call and they tell me "oh it's on its way!" At 9:20pm I get a call from the RUDEST delivery driver stating "Happys. Can you come get dis salad from me." Uh ok. Didn't identify himself. Didn't ask to be let into the building. No please. Just "Come get dis." So I call the store and state I've basically waited 2.5 hrs for a salad and get rude customer services. I ask for them to just credit my account bc I've lost my appetite and am over there customer service. Roy states over and over I don't care if the driver was rude, did he give you your salad? Did he give you your salad? Needless to say, he HUNG up on me when I wanted to discuss the issue of the rude customer services... I placed a delivery order from Happy's Pizza on a Tuesday evening for dinner. I only ordered two items; a cheeseburger and some fries. It took 2.5 hours for my food to arrive. Upon receiving it, the fries were soggy/mushy and looked as though they had been sitting out for a while. The burger was average... nothing more, nothing less. I read the negative reviews online, but decided to give them a chance, seeming it was a Tuesday and I thought the service would be better (Less Busy). I doubt I will ever order from here again. Having had Happy's ribs and shrimp in the past and loved them, I placed an order for pick-up last night. I found a coupon on their website for a rack of ribs and 1/2 pd of shrimp (which comes with fries) for $23. I added 6 regular wings to the order which some how brought my total to $34.00! When we arrived we learned the clerk had entered it as a delivery and our food was out with a driver. We got in our car to head home and realized we were paying with a debit card, of which the driver would not be able to run, so we had to go back to pay...Having arrived back to the house the driver was in our drive way...UGH! hate delivery food. The breading on the shrimp was near burned, so I took it off...didn't help being as the shrimp was rubbery and tasted like bad fish..so disappointed! This would be the 3rd time I got the shrimp this way...the fries were so old and hard, completly uneatable. The ribs were good but a little cold, they are tender and fall of the bone. I rarely like BBQ sauce, but their sauce is pretty good. It's not too sweet, tangy or peppery, which is usually why I don't like BBQ sauce. I will be returning the food to them today and NEVER ORDERING AGAIN! 3 strikes and you're out. I ordered a pizza from Happy's pizza and it took 4 hours to get to my house, when I called to ask where my pizza was after 1hour & 30 minutes they told me was on the way they told me that 8 times because i called every 30min after that "the driver has just stepped out with your pizza and it'll be there shortly" when I received my pizza it did not come with the two Mountain Dews that I had bought and the pizza was freezing and burned honestly I would give this restaurant less than one star because they forgot half of my order and they took an extremely long amount of time to get me my food mind you i live 2.7 miles from the establishment. Refuse to order from this location,I use to order a bit,I like the stuffed cheesy bread but a couple times I've gotten pizza delivered to me that's not cooked well enough or it's not hot enough,1 time I lifted up a piece of pizza to eat it and I could tell it had been slapped on a grill and pressed down I told someone I was with they grilled our pizza look you can clearly see grill marks on the bottom,sometimes there's not enough sauce on the pizza and the last 2 or 3 slices were cold.The ribs were luke warm,The coleslaw is not good,I've gotten bad coleslaw,it was bland tasting and it was a watery and it was weighed down with pepper,I had a bad experience in another restaurant parking lot once,couldn't eat it and I thought they were chincey on the fries the sauce they were covered in was good,but I felt bad because that meal is $8.25,I was thinking are you rationing the fries out and I shouldn't of had to feel like that. read more
