Queen City…read moreLaundry has a good number of machines of various sizes, bigger than you might expect from the exterior of the building. It's clean, air conditioned and has free WiFi. Plus, soap for sale, snack/drink vending machine, and bathrooms. The employee working was great, friendly and very active with cleaning and engaging with customers. I needed to wash a comforter and paid $7 for one of the 40-lb machines. It took 3 dry cycles at $1 each to get the thing dry--but not bad for $10 and an hour and a half of my time. The main downside is that the machines here only take cash and specifically only coins. There is a change machine which only spits out $1 coins. Great for the laundromat, not that useful elsewhere. I saw online that other locations now offer pay with card and that would be a little more convenient. Queen City Laundry also offers drop off service for $2.09/lb (10 lb minimum) and will clean your comforter for you for $19 (or $29 if it's down). They were also advertising their rug cleaning service, which I would look into using in the future.

Lo and behold- I created more wrinkles than the packaging they came in with. They looked HORRIBLE! Panicking- I called several dry cleaners with no luck. I got exceptional service from the employees and the prices are better than other cleaners in town! And they're quick! I love being able to pick stuff up next day! I had a Sherpa pullover that I needed cleaned between two business trips (I was only home for 2-3 days between the trips). They were able to get my item cleaned in time for me to pack it for the 2nd trip! All other cleaners I called told me it would be longer. I was and am so grateful for Cleaner Concepts and their efficiency.

Unfortunately, the staff was not very attentive or professional on Sunday, May 17th. I had a few questions and he was outside on his cell having a conversation with someone on speaker phone. I asked a question and he rudely told me to "wait a minute". Finally, he showed me how to pay for a card to use in the equipment. There were also a few minor leaks from the shafts going across the ceiling. They were leaking into small containers catching the water dripping. That looked as if it needed to be repaired immediately. All in in all, I would give it a 7 out of 10. The music was great! The oldies station plays while you wait. They also have refreshments for purchase. I would return. Hopefully, the minor inconveniences will be addressed/repaired prior to my return.
