This is the best Thai food I've had in this area. It's very authentic! The decor is also very beautiful, and the service is very warm and friendly! You can choose the spiciness! It's really good for Thai food lovers. I highly recommend the drink (I forgot what it was called!) The dumplings are also delicious! I also like the noodles.

This part of the review creates credibility... I was up here in the Bangor area for work. Did a quick restaurant search in Thai food sounded good. The reviews were above average and my expectations were below average. Upon entering, I was greeted by two very friendly young ladies. I ordered chicken, satay,Tom, Yum soup and a curry. After tasting the soup I was sold. It was just as good as in Thailand, except I was in the air-conditioning this time. The owner and chefs are from Thailand. Absolutely fantastic. The curry was hot and had the perfect amount of spice. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had a word with the owner who was very friendly and grateful for my visit. I would 100% come back. The people of the small city are lucky to have such an authentic Thai restaurant in their backyard.

What a fun, hole in the wall kinda bar, a hidden gem for sure! and the food is excellent too! Extensive drink menu with classics and fun additions.

Solid Thai spot. After three days of seafood, we needed a change for our taste buds and Thai Sana…read morewas exactly what we needed. The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming. It's connected to a motel which isn't something you would normally see. Had I not order online, I would have driven by and not given the restaurant a shot. The menu had all your Thai standards along with a few items would find at a Chinese restaurant. Prices seemed fair considering the amount of food you receive. We ordered the pad thai with chicken, drunken noodles with chicken, basil chicken, red curry with tofu, and pineapple fried rice to feed a group of 6 which included a few vegetarians. All the dishes met the standard for takeout Thai food but the drunken noodles and basil chicken ended up being the crowd favorites. I would recommend this spot for anyone visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia looking for quick takeout that's only 15 minutes away.

We did takeout and it was ready fast. Like, 10 min fast. It was ready for us when we pulled up to get it, and the person who handed it to me was friendly. That's about it, unfortunately. The food we received was some of the worst Thai I've had in a very long time. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. The noodles were overcooked and it was sitting in a pile of grease as if I'd ordered a soup dish. I ordered it medium spice level, and it didn't even make a flavorful impact. I was starving so I ate some of it, but for me to leave Thai food uneaten in the container means that I really didn't like it. Bummer of a dinner.

We ordered chicken wings & a large pho that allegedly had three kinds of beef in it. The wings were excellent: properly seasoned & lightly breaded. The kind if crunch you only hear in commercials. The pho broth was delicious, but the amount of meat in it was meagre, as were the condiments you could put in it: less than a handful of beansprouts. Some basil. At least there was the requisite slice of lime & siracha was on the table But the wait!? Almost an hour to get those two dishes. The hostess/server's attitude swung between totally oblivious & condescending. We asked for a ladle to move the big bowl's contents into each individual's bowl & were icily told that they didn't have anything for customer use. You can imagine how tedious it was to try to fill two individual bowls using Asian spoons and a lone tablespoon. What were these people thinking opening a restaurant?

We came here a few times last year and it was decent enough to fill that Thai craving. However,…read morethis year they have put the price up for lunch to $18.95, and the portion size is terrible for that price. This time I had the lunch which comes with soup, salad, 2 appraisers and the main meal choice. Sounds like a good deal right??! The soup and salad cone in cups so small I don't know where they found them, it was actually comical. The appraiser was a spring roll (which was good) and a shumi. The shumi app was literally one tiny dumpling the size of the tip of my thumb. Ummm.... For the main course I got the butternut squash curry and asked for it at a level 2 when she asked me how hot on a scale of 1-5. It was so hot I could not eat it. Had my partner try it and he could not either. It also came with just 3 shrimp. For $19. My partner had fried rice with chicken and apps of chicken sauté and a spring roll. He said the chicken sauté was ridiculously small and not good. I tried his rice and thought it was good, but that was the only winner in the meal for the $50 for lunch.

The appetizers were all tasty as well. I'd love to go back.
