We've been taking our dog Maggie to Happy Puppy for both daycare and boarding for several years and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Kevin and his team are absolutely amazing. Communication is always easy, and they've been incredibly accommodating whenever we've needed anything. We are always greeted with smiles and it's clear the entire staff genuinely loves what they do. The biggest sign for us is Maggie herself--she gets excited the moment we pull up and can't wait to get out of the car and go inside. That says everything. We have been sending our dog to Happy Puppy for daycare for the last 5 years! She goes only a few times per month as we originally started for socialization back during Covid. Even though she's only there a few times a month, all the staff always knows her name and is so kind when we arrive. I like that they post videos and photos. We have never done boarding but we have had her bathed there. She's an anxious dog but has grown comfortable with them! I like that we can book online and cancelling a date is easy. I've been bringing my Lab Bear to Happy Puppy for the past 3 years based on a solid recommendation, and she loves going there! I highly recommend this place. Even though my dog ended up not being the right fit, if your dog is take them here! Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and he is selective with dogs for a reason, he only takes dogs that get along with his pack and there are not many day cares that would do so. Also, I went inside for the testing and he walked me through the process and was transparent the whole time. I couldn't be happier with the the care my Daisy May receives at Happy Puppy daycare! Just talking with Kevin for the first time made us really comfortable. Daisy Mae went in for her evaluation and had one puppy daycare session before we had to go out of town for a family emergency. she was only six months old at the time. We were so worried about leaving Daisy Mae but Kevin and his team took very good care of our little girl and also sent us pictures! That's one of the best things about Happy Puppy is their attention to detail and communication. I receive daily updates and photos of my Daisy Mae having a blast with her friends. It's so comforting to know that my girl is having fun! When we pick her up after a day of playing, she gets in the car and falls asleep fast which lets us know she had a fun day! We are so thankful we found Happy Puppy for our Dog. She struggles with anxiety but you would never know it once she arrives for puppy care! We love the daily videos and photos because we can see how happy and active she is. She is so excited the minute we mention she is going and is always exhausted the night after from so much play. They offer a large window for pick up and drop off and are open 7 days a week and the staff is so friendly. This is great for us since many places don't offer daycare on the weekends. We had our dog there once for a weekend, and she LOVED it. Service was good and responsive, and everything worked out well. However, we tried to book her again for a weekend, and despite an email, a few phone calls, and a text, we never heard anything from them. I'm baffled as to why they would ignore us and lose our business. I realize they are still pretty new on the scene, and the care they give their dogs is truly very good. It just seems like they need some help in the administrative/customer service area. For now, we'll be taking our dog elsewhere, not by choice but because we were ignored. Very frustrating. read more

Happy Puppy is the only place we will ever take our dog. We keep our 8-month old puppy here when we take overnight trips or sometimes for doggie daycare when we both work a lot. Kevin is incredibly caring and nice, and is phenomenal with dogs. We know that as long as our dog is with Kevin he will never be mistreated and will have a great time. We love all of the socialization our dog gets when he is at Happy Puppy - he isn't kept in a cage the entire time that he is there, he's always out playing with other dogs, making friends and having a great time. Colby-Jack, our dog, always gets really excited when he gets in the car and we turn the corner to go to Happy Puppy! I've been bringing my dog to HappyPuppy for 7 years. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is how quiet it is. No chorus barking when you bring your dog in through the gate. The owner Tommy makes it a top priority to keep all the dogs calm, creating a very unique atmosphere of positive relaxed play throughout the day. My dog is not stressed out by having chaos and barking all around him, and he is looked after all day by people who understand him. Tommy took the time to learn my dog's personality and quirks, and continually looks at the big picture to make sure that my dog is safe and happy. He is almost always there to supervise and is very helpful and communicative about letting me know how my dog did. Another nice feature is that dogs can run freely between indoor/outdoor area throughout the day. They also have futons which is great because dogs can take their own timeout and relax if they don't want to play. Tommy posts daily videos on facebook so you can see what it's like. Previous daycare places I've tried have all been lots of barking, tension at the gate, and large numbers of part-time staff who don't really know each dog. Within a few months some problem arose at each place -- either catching an illness or getting bitten at the gate during a tense situation -- and I left. At HappyPuppy, despite 7 years of regular --sometimes constant-- daycare and boarding, nothing bad has ever happened to my dog, since they never let tensions build up in their facility. This is the only place where I've felt 100% comfortable that my dog will not be stressed out, and will be looked after by someone who understands him as well as I do. Tommy has a heart of gold, and his staff seem equally well-trained to maintain a tranquil environment despite having many dogs. I don't know what I'd do without this place. read more

Kevin pays personal attention to the dogs when we are away on vacation or at work. Place is clean and all the dogs seem happy. You can trust your pet there and has easy pick up and drop off hours including over night stays if needed. He also makes sure all the dogs get along and if not, has seperate rooms/storage for them. This place is great!! My puppy went here for the first time recently for doggy daycare and then ended up being boarded here for a few days. Tom is very nice and really truly cares about the dogs there. He also will provide updates via text request. It is nice to know my baby is in good hands! They post videos on their Facebook page every weekday, which is great when you're a nervous "dog mom" like me. My pup has so much fun and he comes home so exhausted from all the play time he has. Happy Puppy was a great find for my dog Louie. I use Happy Puppy for boarding and day care and I couldn't say enough good things about both services. Kevin is fantastic with the dogs and his flexibility in scheduling is a huge help. My dog Louie always goes in tail wagging and he is exhausted from playing with his doggy friends when I pick him up. I own a 5 year old rat terrier that I've had since she was 7 weeks old. I've noticed her over the years becoming more nervous around other dogs and I was terrified to have her around big dogs for fear that she would have fear aggression with them. I knew that i needed to find a place that would be willing to be patient with her and take it slowly. I really love they do the assessment for the dog and even though Pinkerton was very anxious (and had an accident inside) Tommy was encouraging and excited to have her there. The ability for the dogs to go in and out when they need to is great and also the nap time so they can be quiet and rest. I have seen Tommy in a pack of 20 dogs and keeps them calm and happy. From the first day when I dropped her off and her tail was tucked and we had to carry her in and she hid in the corner to the transformation of the second day when she was amongst the pack, it's been amazing. She's not quite yet become a dog that plays and romps with the other dogs but I can tell that she's more confident and I think she loves being an observer. She goes twice a week and is exhausted the night of and day after, we just love it and are so glad we found Happy Puppy!!! read more

Happy puppy is such a great place! Our little guy has been going there for 3 years now and absolutely loves it! He gets so much play time and so much socialization! Great that they don't speedster dogs on size so everyone can get accustomed to each other. The place is always clean and the pups always are happy and playing. My dog knows he is going from two turns away and starts jumping in excitement. Tom is amazing and is very kind, friendly and knowledgeable about dogs. He honestly takes care of the dogs like his own kids! The other staff are always very nice as well and I know because my dog always says hi to them when he walks in. I can't figure out why everyone loves this place. We had a meh experience and tried bringing our dog there again, but they never returned my calls. When my husband dropped dog the first time, one of the guys there let him know that sometimes they won't return calls during the middle of the day because they leave and run errands. So what's going on with the dogs then? But really the telltale sign that this was just meh was that our dog was not exhausted when she came home. Literally every other doggie daycare place we have brought her has worn her out by the end of the day. She has been to doggie daycare approx 100+ days over the past 3 years. read more

My dog Diesel loves going to Happy Puppy! He can barely contain himself in the parking lot/door and always comes home tired from a full day of playing. Tommy really pays attention to each dog and really takes the time to get to know each of their personalities. Before I brought Diesel in I mentioned that he does tend to hump almost every dog he meets. Tommy said he would be able to work with Diesel and stop that behavior. I was skeptical but needless to say within a week of going to Happy Puppy that behavior was gone. I couldn't believe it. I would def. recommend this place to anyone. read more

We had used happy puppy for our occasional doggie day care. Those few times were quite good. However when we dropped our dog for an extended time during our vacation, we found our experience pretty bad. Our dog lost a lot of weight and all the effort we had spent for potty training went to the dogs literally. We will never go back for sure. read more

Horrible experience. My sister just went on a week-long vacation, and I was the emergency contact for her sweet, nonaggressive (but VERY hyper) Jack Russell. My sister told me she chose this facility because it was "cage free" and there is someone there 24/7. Since I work full-time, I was unable to commit to his needs, but told her to call me with any issues. Not even 24 hours later, I received a call that the dog needed to be picked up, and I was given a 1.5 hour time frame. I was told the dog was "howling, barking and running around." I asked if he was being aggressive or had bitten another dog or handler. I was told "no, he's barking nonstop, and needs to be trained." I live 45 minutes from the facility and was heading to an appointment. I felt like Kevin (the owner) was inconsiderate and didn't give this dog a chance to adjust. I immediately got a bad vibe. We finally agreed to meet at 3pm, as he said he was "very busy all afternoon" and wouldn't be back til then. I arrived at the facility at 2:45pm, the front door was locked, no one to be found. I immediately called to let him know I was there, only to get a voice mail. I knocked then waited 25 minutes, and finally Kevin opened the door. He said he was sleeping. He led me into the COMPLETELY DARK area where there were some futons set up, not ONE other dog to be seen. He kept apologizing, but said the dog was too hyper & he couldn't deal with it all week. Again, I asked him "did you happen to throw a ball around to tire him out?" His response: "yeah, I play with them, but they're here to mostly interact with the other dogs." RED FLAG. I do not own a dog. But any DOG LOVER will tell you that they are social, FAMILY creatures. That was comparable to a day care telling me that "they don't need adult supervision/interaction, they occupy themselves." Kevin retuned the check my sister wrote (gee, thanks) and sent us on our way. This dog has been home with us for an hour and is content, laying on my couch with my 3 year old. THE DOG HAD NO INTERACTION. Why was he sleeping at 3 o'clock in the afternoon? Shouldn't unfamiliar dogs be supervised? And why were the dogs kept in a dark garage? Kevin, for someone who is making a business out of pet-sitting, I wouldn't trust my goldfish in your care. You fooled us. Good luck to you, but unfortunately your unique idea had very poor execution. Anyone looking into this facility: RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!! read more
