We love brining our dog here. It's a great indoor option when the weather outside isn't ideal (rain, cold, extreme heat, etc). The place is kept clean and there is always an employee in the open area keeping an eye on the dogs and ready to handle any potential issues with the dogs or cleanup and accidents. It's nice to have a place inside to let our dog run around that we don't have to worry about poop all over the place which seems to be an issue at the outdoor dog parks. They also have pools for dogs to swim which is a nice option. They can swim with and instructor and it really tires them out! A bit pricey for the swimming, but worth it if you have a high energy dog to wear out.

Our Sheltie Harry Potter had a blast at his first assisted swim at Wag N Paddle. Grace was wonderful in the pool with Harry Potter. We are looking forward to HP's next swim.

My dog has a torn ACL and I thought I would check out the swimming lesson at Wag N Paddle, so we had our first appointment yesterday, and I was very happy with our experience. Allison was our trainer and she was great! Coming here for the first time, my dog was nervous and terrified, but Allison was very patient and took the time to get my dog use to the pool/water. She also provided great tips and how swimming can really help dogs with joint problems and was very knowledgeable. Overall, I will definitely be coming back!

Wag 'N paddle is sooooo much fun :) brought my dog here for her 3rd birthday and she had an amazing time. She swam for 30 minutes and then we hit up the inside dog park for an hour. Prices: it was her birthday so I splurged. First time introductory swim 35$ (yikes I know). Hour in the dog park.... 15$ (lol I know). They do offer packages so that's good but the swimming packages were steep, but then again it's a great exercise. The packages for the indoor dog park were a pretty good deal though. Staff were very nice and on top of everything

Update 4/2/2020: My pups have been going to Wag N Paddle for over a year now. My golden absolutely loves going as you can see in the pics and she's become SO confident in the water and a strong swimmer. She loves to jump off the side of the pool too and would try to do that all day if she could We always have a great time at our swim sessions. My foster dog Bernard even goes once a month and Crystal G swims him. He was very nervous to start (and he's not always the best with new people) but she handled him so well! Don't let your nerves stop your dogs from getting out there and having fun. WNP has some very experienced and savvy staff for all dogs! My dogs are not always great in social settings and this is an awesome way for them to have fun and build confidence and become the best dogs they can be! We love swimming at Wag N Paddle!!

Awesome place. My dog had an amazing time. Very clean and safe place for your dog! The staff is great, they keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure dogs are having fun and help with cleaning up. I highly recommend this place!

We love this place! The owners and staff are all great and really care about the dogs. The facility is spacious and clean. We got a new cavalier puppy a couple months ago and wag n paddle has been a great place for him to go and spend time socializing and learning with friends in puppy preschool. Our puppy has fun and we know he's in good hands! Swimming is offered too and the boarding area is also very nice. All around wonderful family owned facility!

What a great place! The entire staff adores and cares for our dogs like their own. My dog starts crying as soon as we pull in as she wants to get out and play with her daycare friends. She is a rescue and went in her first few times very nervous. What she has learned from enrichment is amazing and her confidence has blossomed since that first visit. The entire play area inside and out is always clean and safe. I know I feel so confident when I drop her off that she is well cared for and having fun.

Today was our first experience ever at Wag 'N Paddle & we can't rave enough about them. The owner, Matt is extremely friendly & accommodating to us. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. Our favorite was the swim instructor, Crystal. She was so patient with our dogs and when one of our bulldogs showed signs of distress, she remained calm and knew exactly what to do while I was panicking. At first, the membership was too pricy but I can see now why it's worth it. We will definitely be back!

Ruby had so much fun for her first time at Wag 'N Paddle. The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. We definitely will be back during the cold winter months for lots of swims!!

I've been bringing my dog here for over three years, and they feel like family. From day one, I've had complete trust in them when it comes to my dog's health, safety, and happiness. The team is warm, attentive, and clearly loves every single pup that walks through the door. One of my favorite parts? Every single time we're in the car heading there, my dog knows exactly where we're going and starts getting so excited. Tail wagging, nose to the window--it's clear how much he loves it there. I can't say enough good things about this place. It gives me total peace of mind knowing my dog is being cared for like one of their own. If you're considering doggy daycare or boarding, I highly recommend Just Like Home for Paws. They're everything you could want in a second home for your dog.

The facility is welcoming, cozy and clean. I love that it's female owned and family operated! I was very anxious about boarding Sherlock over Christmas because he suffers separation anxiety, but after seeing the daily photos and videos my mind was completely put at ease. Sherlock looked like he was having a great time and it was clear he was being well cared for and getting lots of love & attention! Now I can go on vacation with no worries knowing that Sherlock is in great hands. He now goes to doggie day care weekly. And even though it's only been couple weeks, I can already see an improvement in his separation anxiety. I would highly recommend JLH4P to anyone looking for doggie daycare/boarding!

Also the prices are very competitive and the facility is local to where I live. He has also been happy to do last minute accommodations when i have had to do that. It is not a fancy dog hotel nor are there a bunch of bells and whistles but John is attentive, professional and calm which is a good quality to have when working around dogs. He also offers other services like dog walks during boarding and grooming. When i come to pick up or drop off I see him working the grounds or busy in the kennels. His home is right on the property which is nice. Our latest dog was not well socialized at first and not great with men but has had no issues with him, although jokes about his barking (which is very true). Some things to keep in mind...make sure to offer specific instructions (and write down) if your dog has special needs like feeding times, medication, etc. Also take note of the hours. One day and on weekends he closes earlier than normal. (Sunday's pick up is only an hour long). Finally if your dog goes to the bathroom on the property and you don't have a bag, let John know where it is and he'll gladly pick it up for you. I will happily continue to keep boarding my pets here.

The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there.
