Knowing small businesses need to be acknowledged and recognized more, I wanted to post a review on what a great experience me and Mongo have always had there. The manager Rick, goes above and beyond for customers, as well as for their dogs. He always has the dogs' best interest at heart. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted either by him or other staff, and feel like I'm always treated like family. Even if Mongo gets to go there for a few hours to play and not for a full day, I always make sure to get there before 11:30am or after 1:30pm. They are closed during that time reason being, all of the pups that are there, no matter what- get nap/down time during that duration to rest. I love that they do that. The groomer, Corinne is also amazing, and it's so convenient. I cannot recommend Lucky Dog enough

He was grumpy, unfriendly, rude, unwelcome, irritable, admonishing me for unclear reasons & had difficulty looking me in the eye, super, super weird, racist undertones, wouldn't recommend anyone with melanin coming here yikes. If you have the misfortune of meeting this character you'll Definitely see what I mean- I didn't want my dog or family to be subject to any of those vibes moving forward. We've had absolutely terrific experiences in the past (only looking for a new daycare due to a move) and have never encountered an individual who spoke/behaved like this & emanating such a super negative/surly vibe, especially a person who reportedly works with dogs, wowza! Clearly he does this for the $$, he didn't acknowledge my dog either until we were finally able to exit the place (also- the place STINKS a lot, was more than what you'd expect). I was already not feeling the best about the place given to several negative reviews- but this crappy experience sealed the deal. Also thought it was weird when the girl who checked my dog in was the same one who checked me out & said "they" should have told you we close at 1130am (?), umm is she referring to herself in the 3rd person, odd gaslighting meant to insult my intelligence? Appropriate training of staff including the head (as we all know those folks set the example, in this case a very poor one) highly needed, the so called managed def acts as though he is doing you a huge favor (ha! he may want to review how a business including a small one like this one works, we dogowners are definitely handing over cash for services). & msg to him: you're not a rocket scientist, please get over yourself *eyeroll*. For anyone in a similar situation Don't bother wasting time w/ this place- terribly rude, unprofessional, and their hours make zero sense (and are also not what's written online- manager again seems to concoct his own rules on the fly depending on who he's looking at, total discriminatory oddball). Thank goodness there are innumerable other facilities.

I emailed Tommy and he took the time to answer all my questions patiently (which were plentiful as we had just adopted our 15 month old dog two months prior). The assessment process was explained in detail and hearing how he manages the assessment day and introduction to the rest of the dogs made me feel confident when we dropped him off for the first time. Arthur is very sweet, but we needed to work on his manners, mostly learning how to approach other dogs and read their social cues. We started working with a trainer and knew we wanted to find a daycare that would reinforce the positive behaviors we were working on. With training at home and now daycare at Diggity , Arthur is so much more socially confident and well behaved at home. I know when Arthur is at daycare he is being well taken care of. We get a verbal report of the day at pick up, which shows just how much attention is paid to each dog. Tommy has a solid knowledge of dogs and can read the behaviors. We boarded overnight recently and had complete peace of mind. Arthur is tail wagging as soon as we walk through the door at drop off in the morning and daily pictures are so fun to see, also! I highly recommend Diggity Doggy to anyone looking for quality daycare and boarding.

Our family is amazed at ONE day of training being so effective! As a puppy, she is rambunctious and full of energy, and as a breed she is stubborn and incredibly strong - we are very pleased with how one day of training has improved some basic skills such as sit, heel, stay, etc. while supporting basic skills like not jumping up. Looking forward to seeing her ongoing progress and working with the K9 Guardians team!

I have only used the boarding services with K9 Guardians twice and we won't be back…read more I honestly thought the first time was fine, I have two dogs a husky and German shepherd and I know they can be a lot to deal with at times being high energy working breeds. Yesterday was the second time I picked my dogs up after a 4 day stay. My husky had speckles of urine all over his white face and down his chest. My shepherds fur was all crusty on his stomach, as if he'd been lying in urine and had feces in the fur around his butt. They both stunk and felt grimy to the touch..these are show dogs and I am a professional groomer, meaning I normally bathe them every 2 weeks, so for them to come home like this after 4 days, I was disgusted. I check over both dogs once we were home and both had a dry nose and deeper red gums that were very dry, indicating dehydration. They went straight for the water and drank about a bowl each. They make you pay before getting your pet, if I would've seen them I wouldn't have paid for such poor service. This bordered on animal abuse and I won't be leaving my pets in their care, or lack there of, again! Just to note: Before my dogs stayed the first time I asked for a tour so they showed me the back kennel area and dog run section. The "day camp" dogs are in VERY small kennels (maybe 3x3 I'm not sure) and they keep their prong collars on them while kenneled. This to me is a safety hazard but I'm not certain if boarders are handled the same way. Boarders are in larger kennels I think 6x6 or 6x9 but the runs are just large enough for them to pee and move around some. Outside of that pets are not exercised, unless you pay an additional $50 a day for training... and thats supposed to be 15 minutes of training an hour....Not a walk or actually exercise activity
