I was referred to Stephanie at Happy Paws by a friend for my 11 y/o girl when I was doing some remodeling. She was lonely and bored at the big box place off Hwy 50 as there was no human interaction; the staff loved her there but per policy they only interacted with the problem dogs. Called these guys about getting a sitter for our two dogs while we were away for a week. Unfortunately, they were booked up. BUT! Stephanie was super helpful and gave us names of other recommended sitters, as well as providing information on their boarding services. She genuinely seemed like she was more interested in making sure our dogs were taken care of than getting us to spend our money with them specifically. Stephanie is a gifted trainer, talented and caring. She noticed that I was wearing overalls with knee pads in order to kneel down low to the ground to train my (short) puppy, and in one session, taught us how to give hand signals from higher up so that I wouldn't have to kneel down as much. She's really invested in helping get our puppy trained so that we can enjoy a great relationship together. I went through all of the steps of requesting an online profile and downloading the app. Once that was done, I sent a message via the app and never heard back. I thought maybe I should call instead.
