    Point point

Solid point point Chinese food in Oxnard. I'll go here when I want something more authentic that Panda Express. And of course cheaper too. Here's some of my fav dishes here: - chow mein is great!! - orange chicken is good. Probably more traditional style than Panda Express...but we know Panda Express is not Chinese haha. - my wife loves the soups. She's tried the egg flower soup and sweet and sour soup. - dim sum dishes are great!! Love that there's an option for dim sum Only thing about this place is that dim sum is made fresh, which means you have to wait. Waiting can be a little long so if you are looking for truly fast Chinese food, avoid ordering dim sum. The point point section is good enough. But again, great alternative to Panda Express. I'll be coming back here.

I was just here for Dimsum, I was driving around looking for a place to eat and boom I found this place. Maybe maybe this is the only place in ventura that sells dimsum... in LA 4 piece is around 4.50 to 6 but here it's 7.50 . I ordered pork shumai and shrimp dumpling ... so the shrimp have 2 small shrimp and some kind of filler. It's an okay place if your desperate..service is good.. food is good.. Im not going to lower the star cause of the price and quality of the dumpling cause I was craving for it.

Always a beauty to see these baby dumplings!

Just picked up an order of noodz and I made orange chicken, white rice, and gyoza at home. The noodz taste a bit different. The color is different than what I've seen on reviews. However, the BEST noodles!

Made an online order for pickup on Grubhub, order was ready upon arrival. Food was very hot and tasty. The portion of the BBQ Pork Fried Rice was enough for two, and for only $10!

    Hair, pubes, lashes? ! Disgusting

Place use to be decent, it was my go to now the past 3 times food is gross! Hair in the chow main, charged me extra $5.99 for old uncooked pork. I don't mind paying for good food, I asked the lady at front that I'd like a refund and she said no "you get what you get" never again! Don't recommend at all !!

If you want good food to eat. I highly recommend this place. Also they offer takeout or delivery. I was here yesterday and had to come back again.

    False lunch special

I grew up in LA so I definitely expected better Chinese fast food. This place has a lunch special advertised on their front window but it's only served when they decide, nickel & dime for everything & wait time for the dim sum is 50 minutes! Won't ever come back to this place. I'll stick to China Kitchen in Ventura for good Chinese.

Happy Panda has Dim Sum now !!!! They added more things to menu too ,give them a try :)

The chow mein was tasty and the chicken very juicy. I got the egg custard dumplings and I highly recommend. They were made fresh to order.

With the cyclospora in mind, Chinese food seems like the safest bet. This place feels like a hole…read morein the wall type of restaurant. There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service

Well indeed it's really good. Pack with flavor not spicy but just enough kick. Very well. Now, this place has the best Dandan noodle, even better than the one in Monterey Park or Alhambra. Best part is, its even good when it's cold. Garlic pork ribs. I was thinking like a riblets but it's more like garlic fried pork chop. Not what I expected but it's delicious. Fried pork dumpling. The meat inside is very succulent. Thumbs up. Can't skipped the XLB. I must say that the staff are very hard working and efficient. Thanks. Will be back soon.

From the…read moreparking lot we could see only one table with a two people, but a large, happy looking, family was exiting with arm fulls of to go bags so we decided to chance it, my partner especially excited for hot pot. We let the group pass us and entered the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a corner table and given menus. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love. Next time for sure!
