Maybe maybe this is the only place in ventura that sells dimsum... in LA 4 piece is around 4.50 to 6 but here it's 7.50 . I ordered pork shumai and shrimp dumpling ... so the shrimp have 2 small shrimp and some kind of filler. It's an okay place if your desperate..service is good.. food is good.. New Owner Alert! - I went in yesterday and purchased meals for three people. I've been here many times in the past and the food was always great, while waiting in line I learned that it was under new ownership. The best way to describe the food is that it was tasteless and not quite hot enough. We got beef and broccoli, coconut shrimp, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and chow mein and it all (except the teriyaki chicken) had a mushy feeling to it. The orange chicken was fresh and still had that same texture. The teriyaki chicken wasn't bad, maybe a little dry but overall it was decent. Sadly this is nothing like the happy panda under the previous owners and only resembles it in location and name. read more

It brings a fresh quality, but only order if not in a hurry. This place is a popular stop, so don't be surprised if you go after 7:30pm and a few trays are empty. This review is a little late. About 5 months ago I went in specifically just for dim sum. Since they seem to be the only place in town (quite possibly all of Ventura County). If you've ever been to dim sum house you will not be impressed but its dim sum in a box. If you look a the picture of the counter. The yellow sign to the right is the 9 options. I ordered off their other menu and 5 items off the dim sum. We got home and I only received 4 out of the 5 items. I ordered egg rolls upon checkout (which is on their dim sum menu) i say this becuz that would have meant I ordered 6 items. I remembered that day becuz I'm in Los Angeles today & just ate dim sum from a little mom & pop place like Panda and they just blew my mind that with some respect for dim sum you can humbly offer steamy, savory, rich and sweet little purses of flavor which is why dim sum is so special in nice take out packaging. So I give panda 5 starts for even offering a dim sum menu but 4 stars due to service. Forgetting my item & the crappy styrofoam & the comical event which was as I got in my car with my dim sum the chef came jamming out the front door for his cigarette break. Mind you this is all during quarantine & mask time so I just found it a little off putting. If I am Jonesing for dim sum again I may return here but if you have never had the true experience of why dim sum is awesome you'll walk away wondering why you waited for it. read more

This place has a lunch special advertised on their front window but it's only served when they decide, nickel & dime for everything & wait time for the dim sum is 50 minutes! New owners really have made a lot of changes to the menu now you cant get port as a side on any combos you have to pay 5.99 extra for pork. And I am a customer that goes there at least twice a week due to working near by. Asked for a two item combo but asked it one item could be made up of a little bit of one item and a little bit of other because a full serving of eather would be too much, kept telling the would be a three item combo.
