The store was kind of gloomy on the inside. What do you expect from a Chinese-take-out place in terms of ambiance? I always love the food here at Golden Dragon. I've been coming here for years. It's run by a couple. The wife works the front and the husband cooks. You must try this place if you haven't. Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. If your not looking for it you won't find it, but if you go you'll be glad you did. The whole experience was really good. Place was clean and employees were kind. Food was out hot and quick. I got just one of the #24 and with tax it was $7.94 my buddy got the same and it was $11.52 with a drink. Always nice to support a local business and even better when the food is great My only complaint is that the Indoor seating area was closed/blocked off which was a little disappointing. I'm not sure if that's a "Covid" or "health" restriction they put into place. When waiting there's on 4 chairs spread far apart, so if you have kids or it's a little busy you'll most likely have to stand. All and all I'd rate the whole experience as a 4/5 stars. Been going to this restaurant since 7th grade. I'm now 25yrs old. Always has been a great spot to eat. Amazing people with big friendly welcomes as you you enter the business. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I personally recommend the sesame balls and green pepper chicken. Since Covid you're aren't able to sit in the dining area but it was lovely back when you were allowed. Overall 10/10 read more

I have been eating at Golden Dragon for several years now and I have never had a bad meal. I have tried several different items off of their menu and they have all been delicious. Their meals have generous portions and everything is made fresh to order, unlike places like Panda Express where they use warming tables. It is like a 'fast-food' place when it comes to the speed of service due to the quickness of stir-frying, but the food isn't like fast-food. Their prices are also very reasonable. The business is owned by a husband and wife. The husband is the chef, and the wife runs the counter and takes the phone orders. Some people have commented that they think she is rude. I haven't found that to be the case at all. She is just very 'efficient' when taking orders over the phone. I always call my order in when I am getting ready to leave my house, and it is usually ready when I get there in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place for take-out Chinese food (no dine-in). read more

The lady is a fast talker. BEWARE! She talks so fast I couldn't understand her and then got snippy when I asked her to repeat it. She had $18.49 rung up on the register before I had a chance to decide... she had basically TOLD me I was getting beef and broccoli with 4 egg rolls before I knew it. she wanted me to order Beef and broccoli and I had to correct her several times that I wanted chicken with veggies.. I asked her yo remove the egg rolls (I had no intension to order). she packaged up the food so fast and hurried me along, I was so frustrated I grabbed it and left . We were on the hunt for a mom and pop type place to grab some Chinese food and found this place on yelp. I always scroll to read all the bad reviews first to see if they have something in common. This one definitely had some bad reviews about the customer service but also had good reviews about the food. We arrived at the spot , And we were greeted right away by a sweet lady who offered her help right away . She did not rush us or pressure us to order . We looked over the menu and picked our food , orange chicken and kung pao chicken. We gave our order to the lady and she took it down and charged us correctly. She didn't try to rudely up sell us on anything , she did ask if we wanted egg rolls. Of course we said yes and don't regret it. She does speak a little fast but clearly that is due to her accent and not at all her trying to be like a car sales person and be shady. Customer service was superb and our food was made fresh and fast. We were in and out within 10min and our bill was under $20 . We thoroughly enjoyed our food and can't wait to go back. Hands down! One of the best Chinese food in town. When you order they cook it fresh on the grill. There Salt Pepper Fish is exploding with flavor with every bite it feels like fireworks in your mouth. Great customer service from the staff. Parking can be kind of tight during busy hours. I ordered mushroom chicken the first time about 2 months ago and it was mushroom chicken and noodles for a little over $7 then tonight I ordered the same thing and I got NO NOODLES! Just mushroom chicken and a container of rice!!!! I called to inquire about it and was told to get the nooyyou must pay extra!!!! After them as already charging me $11.76 for this!!!! Then she told me we're closed now and HUNG UP!!!! VERY RUDE!!!! I guess they don't care to be nice to their customers! No worries I will not return again nor will I recommend this Restaurant either! My review is only for the beef lo mein, a very simple and basic dish, which I thought was incredibly bland and tasted merely like onions. There was a good amount of beef and plenty of noodles; the only vegetables included are a few shreds of cabbage and onions. Edible? Sure. Enjoyable? For me, absolutely not. Thankfully, I ordered this merely to pair with another dish I bought elsewhere. I like how food is cooked-to-order, as it should be, and there is a lot to pick from--although it seems like Panda Express-like combinations are the more popular choices. Most items are reasonably priced albeit pricier than other places I've ordered from. The owner was also friendly. Food was mid. Sold 4 out of 10. Ordered orange chicken, chicken teriyaki and chow mein, but the only issue I had was the chicken didn't look or taste like chicken and was probably pork. I didn't mind it but they didn't tell me and it also smelled like wet dog. The orange chicken was a solid 6/10, teriyaki meat 2/10, and noodle 4/10. This has got to be the worst Chinese food in the area. I had ordered via telephone and had my husband pick it up. When we took a bite of the orange chicken, it tasted like the meat went bad. Now.. I figured, at least I could eat the white rice, surely it wouldn't be bad. I was wrong. It tasted like it was made in a rice cooker that hasn't been cleaned in ages. Almost mildew like. I called the restaurant to let them know it wasn't good and the lady hung up on me. I called back and she immediately started arguing with me.
