Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. If your not looking for it you won't find it, but if you go you'll be glad you did. The whole experience was really good. Place was clean and employees were kind. Food was out hot and quick. I got just one of the #24 and with tax it was $7.94 my buddy got the same and it was $11.52 with a drink. Always nice to support a local business and even better when the food is great My only complaint is that the Indoor seating area was closed/blocked off which was a little disappointing. I'm not sure if that's a "Covid" or "health" restriction they put into place. When waiting there's on 4 chairs spread far apart, so if you have kids or it's a little busy you'll most likely have to stand. All and all I'd rate the whole experience as a 4/5 stars. I'd go again but it's not something I'd eat everyday

Hands down! One of the best Chinese food in town. When you order they cook it fresh on the grill. There Salt Pepper Fish is exploding with flavor with every bite it feels like fireworks in your mouth. Great customer service from the staff. Parking can be kind of tight during busy hours. But other than that is a must try place.

Best Chinese food on the southern part of Oxnard. Might be located in the hood, but don't be intimidated. Definitely a must try.

6 pm. Dinner time. We came a little early to bit the crowd…read more We oredered too much food but no problem. Good for tomorrow too Dandan noodles, beed and onion wrapped, shrimp fried rice, garlic pork chop, steamed pork bun, pork xio long bao. We love it here. Friendly service and food taste great. If I live close by, I'll eat here everyday.

With the cyclospora in mind, Chinese food seems like the safest bet. This place feels like a hole…read morein the wall type of restaurant. There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service

We also ordered spicy edamame, spicy fries (the sauce is the boss!!!) and pork belly bao for appetizers! Everything was on point and the server was great! Service was quick during our lunch break. I believe that this restaurant is called Ragin' Pot because of the deep sense of rage that it…read morecreates within your soul. 1) The flame on the hot pot doesn't get hot enough to cook the meat. We had to ask for a second sterno because our vegetables didn't cook. The meat (a thick cut of beef) was served in the pot completely raw, so I think this was also why it took so long to heat up. We were sitting there for a long time watching the pot looking for bubbles. Because the sterno can't get the pot to boiling, this is a health hazard. I see a couple reviews of people getting sick after eating here, so I wonder if that's the reason why. 2) The service was subpar. There were two waitresses covering three tables and somehow all of our parties were looking around trying to flag them down. It took FOREVER to get a to go box and our bill. 3) And the dipping sauce situation... there are no sauces on the table, and we had to ask if there was any sauce for our hot pot. The waitress wasn't sure and had to go into the back to check. Their house sauce is just soy sauce mixed with Lao Gan Ma chili flakes... By the time you crawl out hours later because of how long service took, you'll be haggard and wrinkled. It kind of ruined our day. There's a Tasty Pot in Oxnard. Go there.
