I don't think in 40 years I ever had such a bad feeling about my treatment. First they booked me a 30 min facial even thought I made myself clear that I wanted a proper facial, not a grab and go facial which somehow I was booked for. I cancelled the eyelashes to have a full hour which was ludicrous. I wakes out with not only mascara under my eyes, my combination skin was not cleaned property and my pores got no attention. The dermatology plane treatment was timid today the least. The brow taxi g and plucking was also very underwhelming. I have wayward brows remaining and most upsetting was THAT MY ESTHETICIAN BWVER LOOKED AT MY SKIN WITH A LIGHT TO SEE WHAT MY SKIN NEEDED. It would have made a sense for her to hand me a mirror and I would have seen while there my face was full of hair, peach fuzz and eyebrows. The reason I'm writing a one star review is that I called two times and complained before my facial started because she didn't look at my skin. She told me "I asked and you told me you had combination skin" well, I find that counterintuitive that a professional would ask me what what o needed I less making an expert decision. I got home and saw so much congestion in my large pores as well as brows. So, I called Kimmie at 12:30 to complain, wanted to send a picture but she client even give me a way to send the pic. I wasn't even offered to come in to be evaluated by management. Kimmie kept asked what do I would I like then to do. I didn't see anywhere on the website that there wasn't a parking lot, and unfortunately the garage near the spa was closed for no apparent reason so finding parking was difficult. I had to ring the doorbell to get into the spa and someone came to let me in, didn't say hi and just asked me if I had an appointment before they'd let me in. The interior of the reception area was very visibly worn and outdated. It reminded me of the decor of a high end spa from the late 90s or early 00s. They had a sign on the wall saying that the spa had won Best of Delaware in 2004 which is when I think it was likely last updated. I'm not quite sure why but I had to wait about 20 minutes to get started on my services, I mostly just stood at the reception desk awkwardly as she typed away for over 15 minutes. I finally asked if she needed more time and I should sit. At that point she said we could get started. I will say this - the massage was fantastic. That, plus the schedule flexibility, is why this is a 3 star review and not 1 or 2. There were coffee drips on the wall near my pedicure chair that grossed me out, some towels that looked less than fresh in the nail area and other random bits of grime throughout. Although the XL was comfortable for me I felt like it would've been awkward if I needed a bigger size or if someone had already been using the XL. I know they only had one because l was the only spa customer for the entire 4 hours. It was a bit too quiet and creepy being in the spa area alone to be honest. My pedicure and manicure were both ok but not great. I was really disappointed with the polish choices especially. There were only about 10 gel options and they had zero matching sets for gel/non-gel which is really standard at spas now. I ended up finding two that were similar. The person who did my services was nice enough but not friendly or warm. That combined with the general worn out/outdated/somewhat grimy ambiance kind of ruined the vibe for me a bit. I didn't get that same super relaxing, warm feeling I'm looking for at a spa. I will say the prices are decent. Overall I don't think I'd return given the ambiance of the spa but if you don't care about that, this might be a good place for a massage!

I went in for a relaxer, cut, and color. I showed the stylist a photo of the cut and asked if they could do it. They said yes and I immediately was excited. They did not rinse all of the relaxer out of my hair. It was still relaxer in my hair. I had sores in the back of my hair and chemical burns on my edges. I had to reach out to my old stylist to correct the damage that the stylist did to my hair. Thankfully she was able to salvage most of my hair in the back of my head. Unfortunately, this could have been avoided if they based my hair prior to the relaxer and washed all of the relaxer out of my hair.
