This is the only place i will allow to touch my nails from now on! This was my first time visiting Nail Care Systems and Kristen did my set. I had a reference photo for her and she replicated them perfectly! They are a little pricey but i believe it is well worth it because the staff is friendly, they are very sanitary and the quality of work is absolutely beautiful! I love this place! Staff is really friendly and the place is clean. Their tends to be a wait but if you call ahead they'll let you know if there busy or to come in. Ask for Tammy or Nina for your nails, I've heard the owner is good but he always seems to be booked. Ling-Ling is great for a pedicure. Timmy is extremely talented that's for certain however the wait is unfair and unprofessional! I had an "appointment" and was late because of an accident on Kirkwood Highway and even called Timmy to tell him that I would be 10 minutes late and when getting there he gave my spot to someone else - therefor making me wait for 50 minutes for my turn. DO NOT GO HERE! To start off, I needed to remove the set I got from Nail Care Systems a month ago and while trying to take it off, it was apparent that the acrylic used on my nails was MMA. If you don't know what that is, it's a type of acrylic that has been banned in the nail industry for around 20 years because it causes permanent loss and damage to the nails. That, along with the work that was done on my nails has made them almost nonexistent, thin, and very sore. When my nails started growing out, it was obvious that the girl that did them took off half of my natural nail. Along with that, I was quoted around $90-100 for the design I asked for and when the girl was done, it was almost $200. This is absolutely unacceptable, from the poor practices, to the use of illegal product. read more

There are things about it you need to just understand and accept: - YOU WILL WAIT IF YOU WANT DESIGNS OR SPECIAL STYLES - YOU WILL PAY MORE THAN OTHER PLACES IF YOU WANT THE QUALITY THEY PRODUCE - TECHS (Timmy & Linda included) ARE NOT RUDE. THEY'RE WORKING/FOCUSING!!!!! Those are the only things I've seen over and over in these low star ratings. As a customer who goes every two weeks, the attitudes from CUSTOMERS are the only problems I see. This place is popular and people rush in expecting instant service. Please be realistic. Timmy is my nail tech and he has a passion for what he does. It shows in his work and he reviews almost every hand that leaves to make sure his clients are happy. IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY, SAY SOMETHING. This place is full of it !!!! I will say that the owner got back to me after my Instagram message about my nails . I get my nails done and not even a day later they chip ! The polish and art work on the nails were horrible . I call explain the problem and was told I had to pay 20 for an appointment. Why am I paying 20 bucks for there mistake ???? I was told I had to save my spot with the 20 bucks and that anything would be given back . I paid it because I really wanted them fixed . Get them fixed again never got my deposit back was charged again for a mistake they did and my nails chipped again . They were absolutely horrible!!! Terrible customer service! my friend has been going here for literally 5+ years and decided to go to a new technician in the salon. The technician was unable to shape her nails correctly after multiple attempts. My friend paid and left dissatisfied. Before driving away, she went back inside for a final attempt to get someone to fix them. She spoke to the owner and he was unable to help her or even sympathize. He explained that they get paid from commission and no one would be able to fix her nails. Long story short, he did not fix her nails, and did not care that her nails were badly shaped. My sister & i came here to get full sets, we scheduled an appointment a couple days before. Although we waited close to an hour (past our appointment time), the nail technicians were very nice, professional, and worked with my sister to understand the design she wanted. Obviously Linda the manager can be upset all she wants and apparently is. But she is very unprofessional in the way she talks to people and it's evident on her response to my post and review. No more needs to be said , a complaint and a upset customer is what it is and as a professional manager of any business you should apologize for any inconvenience on the customers part even if they aren't going to refund anything. Which didn't even happen when spoken to on the phone. A little care and consideration goes along way but it's obvious there concern is not the customer but beating around the bush and making excuses so they can say they weren't wrong. Went there twice. Bad service and quality both times. First- no appointment on a Saturday afternoon I can expect to wait about 30-40 mins and was able and willing to wait. AN HOUR AND A HALF later finally got someone mind you people who got there after me(without appointments) somehow went before me. The girl was nice but the polish wasn't, brand new polish so she had to put three big coats on and almost looked like milk consistency not creamy. Second- a few days later with an appt and I forget the day but it was a weekday in the afternoon. I still had to wait 30 mins WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Staff wasn't friendly towards me but really friendly to other people of course...... Got white polish on the same nails because I hated the new polish I gotten. On the first time there. White pretty color but VERY streaky mind you same girl. I could of done polish better. But it's gel. While the work and finished product always turns out immaculate, that is no excuse for the PATHETIC attempt at "Customer Service". Ive gone through several experiences with this place and always come back because my nails always end up looking great. But today was the last straw. Linda is the rudest, coldest, excuse for a manager Ive ever seen. I came in on Saturday 5/18/19 and got a full set of colored acrylic. I asked for regular length. This ended up running me about 45$ not including tip. After leaving I decided my nails were a tad too long ( Maybe HALF a CM too long NOT A BIG DEAL). After contacting the lady who did my nails directly she informed me its no problem but they are closed sunday and monday. On Tuesday 5/21/19 I called 10 minutes before to see if there was a long wait. i also asked if they would charge me for cutting down my nails. Before i could even finish my sentence linda cut me off to tell me " yes because you didn't get them done here" when I informed her that i did actually get them done there she changed her story to " yes because its been to long" at this point im frustrated an d explain i got them done two days ago and wouldve come back sooner but you were CLOSED!!!! she then said "Oh yeah as long as it hasnt been a week or something" then put me on hold. when she came back she explained she would be charging me to cut them down. Now im confused and you keep coming up with excuses for why you have to charge me. she explained that " if it was a crack or a broken nail we'd fix it for free but not a cut down " i then asked how much did she think was reasonable to cut down the nails. This woman said 4$...... i hung up. I then walked in to get my nails trimmed in which she told me they weren't taking any more walk ins before i could even tell her what i was there for. i then asked "Why didn't you say that while we were on the phone. she talked back to me with "How am i supposed to know you were the one on the phone" then i explained i was just there to get them cut down and she said oh oh thats fine,sit. After waiting for exactly 45 minutes i left. i cant understand why you charge loyal customers for something as simple as this especially when i just spent 50$ TWO DAYS PRIOR!!! this woman's customer service is horrendous. I truly hope the very talented artists working under her find a better place to work because i can only imagine how she treats them if this is how she treats PAYING CUSTOMERS! Ive seen multiple reviews just like this one about her behavior i truely hopes she gets it together. read more

A friend of mine recommended me here. I went on Good Friday. It was crazy busy and not realizing what day it was I went in as a walk in. My wait was a little over an hour but it was a holiday weekend so I didn't mind. There were a half dozen customers in front of me so I already knew I would be waiting. I said to myself if they can pull this off on this busy day I'll be a return customer. Then I was offered a complimentary beverage. Never has any nail salon done that. But besides a free drink you get a warm welcome, a clean and spacious business, and staff that is friendly, professional, and considerate of their customers. The owner had overlooked me and forgot about my appointment. He then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for not reminding him and offered no solutions. This place used to be good. Timmy, the owner has always had a nasty attitude and it is only getting worse. The nail salon has lost its integrity along with good nail techs as well. I won't lie Timmy does good nails and two other nail techs there (Twee & Lena). My experience after today I refuse to give my hard earned money to this salon. I stopped in on my way home from work one day, and had a gel manicure and my eyebrows waxed. Experienced great service while I was there, everyone was nice and respectful. However, my nails were peeling on three fingers not even 4 days later. Went back and had the 3 fingers redone, no problem they happily did it. Not even two days later peeling again, one of which being a finger they had just redone two days prior. Didn't even last a full week, not worth the money. Mind you I am not doing anything extraordinary with my hands, just typical day to day things. I saw this place on Instagram and I was looking for a nail shop and really desperate to get my nails done I researched all the nail places in the area. I even went into one and they said that you have to sit there the whole time because they don't take appointments so I called this place and I made an appointment for Saturday at 1pm. I read the review by Selena and when I came in Timmy told me I'm going to have to wait a long time to see him. I waited in the salon left waited in the car left to go to another salon get my pedicure I thought this would help out my time nope it didn't I came back waited in the salon and saw two fights break out waited some more and finally around 730 maybe 8 he started to do my nails. I couldn't get what I wanted but I have to say he really did a good job with keeping the stones on and everyone who saw my nails were really impressed. I was really shocked but those stones stuck on there I mean they were impossible to get off and none of my nails bent or broke. I'm also super impressed Timmy is extremely professional he handles all those customers really well and some of them are not playing. The price is extremely high but he's creative. His stones are REAL. I recommend you bring a picture if you're set on getting something. I was so delirious after waiting all those hours. You should go in there and ask the price first. Michelle was a great conversationalist, in addition to doing a very good job on my nails. My first time here was a Wednesday afternoon, I went in and asked the wait. They told me to sign in wanted to take temperature and had me sign documents due to Covid. The desk ask me if I will be getting a design I told her I'm not sure. Uninvitingly she told me to go wash my wash as if I knew where to go and it was then I asked her where. After washing my hands I came back and asked why did she ask me about the design she said getting a design can lengthen the time with the nail tech I said I don't know until I sit down.
