They just redesigned the place with new comfortable chairs . It looks great. It does take a little time, but I'd rather them take their time and do it right . I have been going for about a year. I go to happy nails all the time and get my nails done. I usually go every 3 weeks. I love Nikki and Kim. They do a fabulous job on my nails. I have been going to them fo about a year now. I have tried several different nail salons in Slidell and was not happy with them. With happy nails I have never had a nail break. Sure sometimes I have to wait a little while, but that is to be expected. They are very busy and I don't mind the wait. I get compliments on my nails all the time. I got them done for Mardi Gras and they looked fabulous and lots of compliments on them. read more

I have been atleast 3 times in the last month and a half, the first time i waitrd 3 hours to even get my nails done, missed a reserved dinner, when i left you could see clear through my "red nails" then I got green with a "cat eye" and it felt like the sugar layer over my nails (super gritty) then i had a photo shoot for work Sunday so saturday i went back and got them to color my nails black with some glitter and get a refill, they turned my nails metallic silver and then i got them to redo them and they didnt take the silver off they put a polish over the silver metallic polish, and it turned rusty brown so THEN (3hrs later) i said just color them black like i asked so they "removed" the polish and now my nails are blue... its only been 3 days my nails broke already, you can still see the green under my nails, from previous polish, it feels super gritty and i have marks all over my "dip powdered" "black" nails. Ive spent well over 300 dollars in a month and a half, i will never be back and highly disappointed i dont recommend! Such a waste of money! My nails are crooked 2 different colors and half broken after 3 days. This is ridiculous and disappointing looks like a 5 year old did my nails . I wanted to try out this nail salon because it is fairly close to my house. There were only two people being helped when I walked in but I had to wait about twenty minutes before I got in the chair for a much needed manicure. Once seen, the manicure went fairly quickly. My nails also came out pretty good. I may stick to my old faithful spot and visit this salon when I have to. Overall, the lady was nice and took care of my nails. My husband also got a manicure and felt that it was ok. He felt that the hand massage and overall time on his hands was very short. I stopped in here to get a quick pedicure after dropping off some packages next door. My feel we're looking pretty bad lol! The staff was kind and courteous. My tech got right to it. I actually enjoy getting serviced in peace, so I wasn't asked a bunch of questions shrike trying to catch up with my favorite shows on Netflix. Some techs don't get that. Which is fine, because it shows they're kind and want to engage the customer... but sometimes, you just want to get serviced while being quiet, it was just one of those days, for me. She did an excellent job on my feet and they use liners on the pedicure thingy, whatever it's called.. y'all know what I'm talking about. Lol. I wouldn't mind actually making this my new go to spot. I would never go to this place again!!! I feel that I was taken advantage of price wise. I had gone other times and the older lady is nice. But after I received a pedicure on a Sunday, I was charged $90 for a pedicure with a siding on the two big toes. I asked the person for a breakdown she quickly said I didn't charge you for those two. She did not even have the respect to give me a written printed invoice. I see it is not to the consumers advantage to go to their cash only Sunday. The design was not that difficult to do. I decided to take my little girl here for Mother's Day for mother daughter pedicures and we both were pleased. It was her very first pedi so she was a bit trepidadious but the nail tech really put her at ease by joking around a little, showing her how to use the buttons for the massage chair and complimenting her polish color...a bright blue-green. There were a few other guests here but we were seated right away and they got to work almost immediately. It was easy to settle in and relax after I noticed all the tools were coming out of sealed packages...read-new and clean...and relax I did. The massage chair did it's magic working some sore spots out of my back while my nail tech did some magic of her own rubbing and painting her way to soft and pretty feet and toes. My daughter was so impressed with her pedicure that she kept snapping pictures of her toes so I'm sure they'll be a whole snapchat story happening there lol. Would definitely return to this salon again! It's clean and comfortable and the people are so nice. My pedi was $25 and my little girl's was $20 so prices are on par with others in the area. I have been there twice. I went there in December 2018 and in March 2019. I has surgery and that's the reason for the gap with service. They were friendly. I have never been anywhere in between. I had the gel pedicure and now have green fungus on my large toe on my left foot and green fungus on my middle toe right foot. Talk about painful. They have the scrubbing bubbles can out, but you know I was there when they first opened and I mean first one in line. So I assumed they cleaned the spa. I guess I should never assume. The tech's at this nail salon are nice but very sensitive. I asked for dipped nails instead I got solar nails without my permission. The moment I saw them painting my nails on with the brush I should have stop them. I asked for an ombré and was told at the end of the process that can only be done with gel! Yes, no dip instead I got jail nails. When I left I had gel nails and no dip. I'd previously gotten my nails ombré style at another salon with dip not gel. The guy that filed my nails filed them so hard the pink/my flesh, was exposed. The nail salon and spy was very dirty, and every customer chair was broken. When you sat in the chair it sank. The nail salon did NOT in any way matched the pictures online. Yes, I returned for a second visit at the recommendation of a colleague, thinking maybe they had a bad day. Well, not! They were consistent in their practice. They have a lot of customers and do a lot of acrylic and gel stiletto nails of which I HATE!!! Yes, I did go a third time because they are open on a Sunday and I needed my nails done fast. They are always crowded. The first time I went it took me four hours and 27 minutes for them to complete my nails. They do take appointments which leaves the walk-ins sitting. Maybe I chose I bad weekend but horrible experience. Let's start with the long wait(almost an hour they could've said so) just to get started on my mani(which I never got) and pedi(not bad). I asked for a specific design and the lady who did it did a poor job and had the Worst attitude including pulling and jerking my hand around. I asked for it off and the other worker tried to convenience me that it was "very beautiful". I should have taken pics of what I asked for and what I got. The customer next to me even said the pic and what I got did not compare. She even went as far as to say that no one in Louisiana could do the design or even do as good as the lady who did it!! So bizarre as I know at least 4 other places and I just went to them out of convenience! Then after the take off, they left my nails in such a bad state. Not the best place to go in Slidell... For its price and the way they handle their customers, it's not worth it. The nails are subpar, they're thick and bulky. The man is very rough and does not care about his customers nails. He puts the tips on sloppily. There is one lady with short hair, an older (but not by much) one who is very, very sweet. She does much better service. If every other nail salon is busy and you are in desperate need to get them done I would go here and only to her. You'll pay a little more than you should though. PROS: No wait time, usually empty or just few customers. Pretty salon, it's styled nicely. CONS: Basic full set is slightly more pricey than other places for a lesser quality job. Only one technician that I would consider allowing to do my nails. Not the best customer service. read more

Awful place!!!! Went here because I was desperate to get my nails done on a Sunday - NEVER again! First they were rude and did not listen to me when I asked for a color change on my toes FOUR times yet they still tried to give me a pedicure. I needed a routine fill in with shellac on my natural nails and just a day after my manicure, a tip of my nail fell off and the acrylic is lifting from my other nails.
