Last night was my first time there and I thought they were all very sweet, easy to have a conversation with and they have great prices for quality work! I showed them a picture of the nail shape I wanted and it came out exactly how I wanted them to. I'm very happy, especially when I went to a different place last week and they totally screwed my nail beds up and didn't even her close to what I wanted and I paid triple the price. And they have a frequent buyer card Sometimes I have a had time justifying the cost to get a mani/pedi, but I feel like it's a necessary indulgence. Worst nail place I have ever been to in my life. Had a Saturday appointment. Started out fine. Showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted. She said "Yes" she could do that . When it came down to the design I showed her, she said "I can't do flowers" I showed her how a very simple flower design was done. I asked for some leaves , once again she said "I don't to leaves!" I had to wait another half hour before "Maggie", the only one who does leaves. What a disappointing experience. I had to get them done all over again. So bad, never go there. Maggie's the only one worth dealing with and she's always super busy. Walked in for an eyebrow wax and was told to sit down and wait. Ten minutes later Maggie asks me what I'm here for and apologizes because she wasn't told and there's no one available. The rest of the staff just don't care and it shows in their work and attitude. Walked out and I'm done giving this place a shot. For what it's worth this used to be my go-to for nails, wax, and pedicures but I'll pay extra at John V to be treated like my business is appreciated. read more

Hi Nais & Spa opened up a few blocks from my office about a year ago. I have been their a handful of times. My first experience there was fabulous. But shortly after I was told another place was more fabulous so I checked them out. They were okay but didn't compare to Hi. Later that person who recommended that other salon admitted that they too tried Hi and have decided they were the best in the area. I went in this Friday to get a mani and pedi for a wedding I was standing in on Saturday. The took me right away. They gave me a very thorough pedicure making my feet and toes look as smooth as a baby's bottom. They have a great selection of colors to choose from. Their massage chairs are really good and the pedicure bowls are very clean. The facility is spotless and very spacious. Then I moved over to get a manicure and it was just as perfect and quick. The prices were very fair as well. $12 for a mani and $24 for the pedi. I will not allow anyone to send me to another place. I have checked them out and this is the spot in Covington. Not to mention their was a steady stream of men and women coming in. I think my secret spot is out! read more

I was in the area and checked this place out on Yelp so I decided to give it a try. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I had a basic pedicure, and my girl was fast and friendly. They also offer free wi-fi so even if you have to wait a bit, at least there's free wifi! When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. read more

I got a full gel set with an accent nail on each hand and it's incredible. I'm very picky with my nails but I'm very impressed. I was nervous bc these are my back to school nails but I'm very confident in them. I recommend to ask for Hannah. She was so sweet and made sure I was happy. read more

Terrible experience. I walked in at 1:30 for a manicure pedicure. They quickly had me select my color and sit down in the pedicure chair. As I continue waiting (my water now cold), the nail technician said I was next in walks another customer (also a walk-in) and start working on her. I ask the technician what happened with me being next to which they waved me as like keep waiting. Over 40 mins waiting I wasn't going to wait another minute. Got my feet out of the water and was out the door. The lady next to me said she didn't blame me for leaving. Will never go back to this place. read more

Love this place! I've had my nails & toes done. They have many types of pedicures & manicures to fit your budget or time frame. We go on our lunch hour at least once a month. They don't have much of a color selection compared to other salons, so if you're picky, bring your own color. read more

First time visit, had toe nails cut down with polish change, a man did them trying communicate with him was impossible, cut and burned side of nails. Then needed refills he also did them burned the sides of fingernails! If I go back I will ask for someone else. Horrible. Avoid at all costs. After a horrible experience a while back i decided to give it a shot since it's nearby. Thinking and hoping that maybe it got better. Come in to get a polish change and it looks like my 5 year old niece did it. My skin is painted. And she couldn't see anything wrong with it. Avoid avoid avoid. My daughter has been here a few times because it is near our home and there staff is super nice. They are also fairly reasonable. The last time she went and got a full set put on, within two days 4 nails were popping off. She was so disappointed. I popped in to get my nails done over lunch. The polish job was honestly the worst I've ever had. I showed my boyfriend just in case I was overreacting, but he agreed that I can paint my own nails better than this. The price was great, $10, but the manicure was supposed to be their quick service one and it took 50min. I was just so disappointed in how it looked afterward. I actually had to ask the nail tech to remove cotton ball fuzz from nail - she didn't notice that there was a bit in the polish on my nail. Maybe she was new? I don't know.
