Absolutely terrible experience. I got a gel pedicure and clearly told the technician not to scrub too hard with the stone because my heels crack easily. She ignored me and did it anyway. The entire service was rushed and only lasted about 20 minutes -- it felt like they were just trying to get me out of the chair as fast as possible. After I finished, I went to sit next to my friend while she was under the dryer for her regular polish. Another employee snapped at me, "No, you don't sit, you got gel," and physically pushed me away from the chair. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. To make it worse, two of my toes had polish come off almost immediately. So not only was the service rushed and rude, the quality was poor. This place clearly rushes customers through as soon as someone new walks in. You feel like a number, not a client. They even charge extra for using a card, which should be disclosed upfront. Do not waste your money. By far, the worst pedicure I have ever received. Barely massaged feet and legs. Puts your flip flops on after your toes are painted only for them to get ruined. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Walked in on a relatively slow Wednesday morning with my family. There were 4 of us total. We were promptly asked to sit for the pedicures we requested. I was out of the chair in less than 10 minutes. By far the worst pedicure I've ever had. She trimmed my nails and seemed frustrated when I asked them to be cut shorter. I got a good job on my nails from Alyssa as she did a good job and would go back . The salon is busy and is fairly clean, I feel the nail stations could be cleaner. I sat down right behind someone and the counter was not cleaned before I sat down. The pedicure stations were clean and I witnessed those being promptly cleaned after a customer. The person that did my pedicure was pretty rough and did a callus removal on my feet and made fun of the dead skin that came off with another worker and talked to her. It was somewhat embarrassing . I would not get her to do my feet again. Also the pedicure spacers were left on my toes , pedicure cost $40, they should remove them when your feet are dry or ask you at least. I upgraded to the therapeutic pedicure. It included a clay mask, hot stones, hot towels etc. Those things were done yet it was a check in the box. The full service with polish was completed in under 30 minutes. I added a regular manicure. She suggested gel polish several times and I declined. There was even less effort put into the massage and cuticles. I was in and out in under an hour. I was thinking of this as pamper time, not a rush thing. Went in for pedicure and manicure. Place was clean and staff was friendly enough. My toes look great. However, when they were painted, for some reason he took a brush with remover on it and swiped around the base of my nails. Guessing to clean up the edge. Not a good experience at all. Especially with a party of six. We called ahead of time and they told us seats were available with no wait. When we arrived all seats were full and they told us to put our name on the wait list. One of the six eventually got up and walked out even after being seated. Update: After 2 and 1/2 weeks, I have only 4 nails left. All have either broken or lifted. I went in for a fill in. I was missing 4 nails so I knew I was going to be paying close to a full set. The tech suggested I just get a full set anyway because my other nails would start to lift eventually. I agreed. I chose my gel color and she started. I came in with almond shaped nails and I asked for a almond shape. Bu I went out with some of the ugliest nails I've ever had. They looked like duck bills. She did ask me when she was done filling if they looked okay and I nodded because I was so done with this place. I figured I would wait until she finished because who knows maybe I'll end up loving them? But as soon as she was done, I was ready to leave and I knew that I was going to be immediately going to have someone else fix them. When I went to check out I was floored with the price. $60 dollars in total for these nails. After I got home I checked online and it says $28 for full set + $15 for gel. So I called back asking why my bill was so high and was told because I had almond shape and length they were extra. Which is normal for most places. But you think she would've said something to me considering I came in JUST wanting a fill in. I even asked about the length while they were being done and she said they wouldn't look good short so I agreed. I didn't even want to tip but I did, in total I paid $69. I left and went to the nail spa a little ways away (Nails 2000) and they were so kind. Laughing at how badly they were done and promised to fix them. They suggested I go back and have Happy Nails fix them but I refused. I didn't want the same girl doing my nails. While they were fixing my nails they asked me who did them, and they guessed at who did my nails! And they were right. That just goes to show you this isn't the first time. I didn't include a picture of my nails now because I don't want people to think Happy Nails did that. But they were fixed and look 100% better. Save your money and go somewhere that knows how to shape nails! And how to disclose pricing! I went in thinking it would be around 40. Never again will I come here! Outstanding customer service and great price! Me and my girlfriend visited the area over the holidays and was recommended this spot to get her nails done. We walked in and we were greeted by a gentleman who turned out to be the owner. They pretty much can do everything here from acrylics to (organic) dipping powder. My girlfriend opted for a non toxic polish to match her new colored hair. The technician she was with expertly chose a the appropriate color- we were impressed by the stripped design she did on my girlfriend's ring fingers which really made her nails stand out. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area needing their nails done. The Technicians and owner are very friendly and provide great, quality service. Have found a therapist in this salon that handles my ingrown toenail very well whenever I am in Myrtle beach during the winter months. I booked her as this mornings 1st appointment 2 days ago. When I walked in, she greeted me, seated me....and then said that (another therapist) would be handling me while she took on another client who entered just after I did. Normally, when something like this occurs back home in PA....I will simply just walk out. I have found several therapists who handle my pedicure....and ingrown toenail..... painlessly. To my regret, I did not walk out today. I get a pedicure religiously every 3-4 weeks because of my ingrown nail situation......but during todays pedicure, I was almost literally in tears and at times, writhing in pain!!! I know how difficult it is to run a "people service" business....having run my orthodontic practice for close to 40 years. Today however, was one of the most painful pedicures I have ever experienced. Not sure if I will give this salon a 2nd chance. I don't mind the pedicures here but I recently got a gel manicure and I'm so disappointed. I drive about an hour to come here about 1-2 times a month. I got my nails done about a week ago. they were super thick and gross looking. I asked for a matte top coat and it was so thick and chunky. It was definitely past it's prime seeing as she was struggling with the consistency and trying to scrape every last bit out. I wish she would've just gotten a new one or told me matte wasn't available. I showed the young lady a picture and immediately she said "I can't do it." I know I know.. at that point I shouldn't have even gotten them done but she has said something like that to me before they turned out great so I had faith in her honestly. Whoever said "blind faith is better than no faith" is sorely mistaken. She asked if she could substitute the accent mail with a sparkly mail instead... Then put matte on it.. She also filed in all softener directions and my right hand had different length nails which is awful for my ocd. Less than two days later my nails began to crack. Now that it's been a little over a week I'm disgusted in them. They're hideous. Gel nails for me typically last longer than a week. I will probably not come back but if you're looking for an average pedicure this place is it! read more

One girl, she does not speak English, one girl named Lily she said and specially the young man named Riley he said, who did my pedicure twice, he is not a nail technician i think. He did my deluxe pedicure in 20 minutes. He did not cut my cuticle at all and used the buffer to buff my nails only, he literally swiped my heel with the file and done. I could not even tell i had a pedicure. Terrible polish job aswell, a lot of color on my skin. 2 girls did my pedicure not even 19-20 minutes. I think in this nail shop, they just wash your feet in stead of doing pedicure... I've heard that one New nail shop on Main Street is very nice, i will go there next time. I liked it! It wasn't expensive - she didn't try to upsell me everything there and she noticed the gel needed 3 coats for the color to look it's best! Those are the things I appreciate! Giving them 1 star is 1 star too many. I went there December 20, 2021 for a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I don't know the person's name that performed the service, but watch out for the girl with short bleached hair and long dark roots. First, she tried filing my toenails; I don't have large toenails. So she more or less filed the skin around my toenail. I got that stopped right away. The problem was the eyebrow waxing. She's confused on how far down your eyebrow is located as I have a burned eyelid ! It is painful and very noticeable! I put my hand over my eye and asked if she had pulled my eyeball out of my head ! All she said was "sorry mam". I went back the next day to show the manager: she offered me neosporin. Are you kidding me !! You should've offered me a refund!! Never will I go back. I have been going to Happy Nails for about 9 moths. Had an appoint for last Friday for a pedicure and a nail fill. Technician did a less than great job on the leg massage. Having my nails polished she left polish on my skin and I had to have her redo my big toe it looked like extremely old polish. I've never had a poor experience there in all of my years. Always greeted with a smile and immediately asked what I need. Ive learned to call ahead and make an appt during the summer tourist season because it gets extremely busy, but they always take their time and pay attention to detail. I paid $80 for a refill and pedicure with gel polish one week ago. Within 3 days the nail polish started to bubble and peel. I went back in to have my nails repaired. I explained why I was there, no one wanted to wait on me. I waited over an hour and no one helped me. One technician said she doesn't do acrylic. When they finally waited on my they acted like I had done something wrong. They began to talk to each other, laugh and roll their eyes. The guy said he will fix them "this time". They were so rude. I'll never go back there again! They not only lost me but my mother and two friends were their customers too! I read reviews and was excited to find a great place in North Myrtle. Do yourself a favor and go to the next place. When I arrived to get my pedi & gel manicure, I chose a "perfect match" color. As I walked out the door I noticed the nails on my fingers were pink & toes were red/orange. I walked right back in and the lady tried to convince me that it was "fun" & the sunlight had changed the color. While it might be, that's not what I had wanted or asked for. She said to come back later to fix them because she was too busy. Due to the nature of my business, I had to fly home for work & fly back to finish my vacation. Upon my return, I tried for 4 days straight to come back ( to not only fix the color situation, but now almost all my gel was chipped and peeling from the top). Each time they told me they were too busy for fixes & come back later. By the 4th time I asked for a specific time and came when they said. I waited a bit, which is understandable. When the tech came to speak with me, she got very rude and aggressive. She insisted that she would not fix my gel because it had been 10 days. I explained to her I had been trying to come in for 4 days (which would have been only 1 week) & she did not care and refused to fixed the finger nails. Worst experience getting my nails done I have ever had. Such a shame. From the get-go the girl was rude. Trying to make small talk and warm up the frigid tone I mentioned I was leaving today (did nails yesterday) to go home to la and had a big event Saturday. She said, exact quote (unfortunately can't capture attitude) 'this won't last until Saturday. It's only regular nail polish!' I told her I've been getting regularly nail polish for years and it should last 3 days. What's different about your polish? She's quickly corrected me that Saturday was 4 days away...as if that makes a world of different. She criticized broken nails, my cuticles, that I had polish under the nail glue so I better pick a dark color to cover it up bc she can't remove that polish (never had that problem), everything. I finally asked her if she had a problem with me. She got snippy and asked why, I gave her the aforementioned examples, which she snarled at. I wish I had walked out right then and there. I will give her this though--she was right. Less than 24 hours later and they're chipped. Initially I called over the phone to get pricing for service and the owner of the shop was very helpful with providing the need information. So after I finish my bike ride , I decided to stop in for services before I went home. I am a woman of color and I had my jogger outfit on. It was a nice day but it also Dec 2019 and I do not have time to get sick . Therefore to locals I might appear over dressed. Nevertheless I parked my bike , enter the shop and proceeded to ask for service. The shop was not busy at all , to the point employees were sitting off in the waiting area on their phones (Tuesday around 4pm). That's why I could not understand why everyone was looking around to see who was going to provide me service. I could be wrong but they made me feel as if they did not want to provide service to a woman of color. I would say the person that completed my service did not want to pay extra or he also did look at his watch when I asked for an additional service. So it is a possibility that he was about to leave after me. But he stated he did not want to charge me an extra fee for 1 additional step to service. Then the guy next to him "Kevin" states awh man you don't want to get that extra $15.00. I will do it for you anyway for the additional $15.00 Of course I did not find humor in his comment at all.
