I felt amazing after but it's definitely not a massage you would fall asleep in. It's more of a therapeutic, physical stress relief and stretching experience. I especially liked the head, neck and face massage. The hot stones were a nice inclusion by my masseuse. The vibe of this place transports you to somewhere with Thai or Indonesian inspiration. To the facial technician, she explained every step and it was just as relaxing as the massage. The cost, yes, even though given as a gift, I did ask about costs. The cost is the same as anywhere else! The facial, actually is much cheaper than you would pay at higher cost if gone to dermatologist or anywhere else. I asked for contact information for the manager -- I'm sure he/she or franchise owner would like to know that the brusque and terse voicemail and subsequent call with "Debbie" made me think this was the LAST place I would be relaxed, in any way. And that my efforts to make sure both my brother and I would not be charged -- as well as to let them know providing my credit card information over the phone was not really acceptable for me. Maybe I will update later -- but service at front desk and obviously, from manager -- I would not trust them with my credit card number or physical or mental well being. Sigh. This could have been so simple. Updated Status as of 12:50: been ON HOLD for over 46 minutes.
