When a lady took me, the look she was given was like she was in trouble for taking me but she did anyway. I was quoted $5 or more if nails were really long, was charged $7 I don't think my nails are THAT long. My nails are rounded yet this tip is pointed so I'm gonna have to fix that. 1/5 -- Listed Hours Are a Lie, and the Staff Couldn't Care Less…read more Let me save you the frustration I just went through. I checked Google before leaving the house. Ruby Nails & Spa: open until 7PM. Cool. I called an Uber and showed up at 6:26 PM. Thirty-four minutes before closing. Walked up to the door, ready to be a paying customer. Turned away. The tall, chubby guy at the front told me they "close at 6:30 now." Just like that. No apology, no acknowledgment that their listed hours say otherwise. When I explained that I had taken an Uber specifically because I trusted they'd be open, he laughed. Actually chuckled. A woman in the back shouted that they close 30 minutes early, like that's common knowledge I should've somehow had. Here's the thing: the salon was completely empty. Three employees, zero customers, and not one of them had a single second of grace for a woman standing there telling them she had no ride home, stranded as the sun was going down. I tried one more time. Told them I was stranded. Nothing. No "I'm sorry." No "let us call you a ride." Just three people ready to get out of a building that was already dead. The attitude told me everything I needed to know about why there was nobody there on a Saturday night. Ended up at Angel's Nail and Spa on Saxon. Walked in, got taken care of immediately, left happy. That's where my money is going from now on. Ruby's: update your hours on every platform, or honor them. You had a customer ready to spend money and you chose a chuckle instead. Not coming back, and I'll be telling everyone I know.
