I was taken in quickly and everyone was very nice, which I appreciated. However, the technician used the drill so aggressively around my cuticles that several of my fingers ended up sore and swollen for a couple of days afterward. Please know that if they get too chatty, its just the lube before they... I went to get a french manicure, acrylic. They asked gel or regular and I said no gel. He charges me $65. I said I asked no gel and he said "ok next time" ...ok? I had left only a $10 tip on the $65 bc I felt they were overcharging (even for gel), it was a service I never requested, and my two pointers had no coffin-ish look, just fat squares. Out of curiousity I went to the website and its a $55 service. I called 3 other competing salons...all $52-$55. Not sure why they assumed a person WHO WORKS IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY wasn't going to tip and added their own but they lost their tip, and the $10 extra. I walked in the door and asked the receptionist for 2 spa classic treatment for me and my daughter $30 each. a eyebrow wax for me. i canceled my request for eyebrow wax after sitting for 20 minutes. then i get to the register and i'm being charged for a $50 pedicure. the pedicure person bell tried to say my daughter asked for it. and she didn't. and she did a horrible job! so be aware they overcharge for services if you not paying attention. will never go again or recommend this place to anyone. I do recommend you get the air fixed, should have left for that reason... wait it gets better. I left because I had to take my daughter to practice. But I wrote my first NEGATIVE REVIEW in the parking lot. So I guess the owner saw it and offered my daughter free services if I took my review down... OH NO SIR I will not! Needed to find a new nail salon closer to home so I gave VIP Nails a try yesterday based on Yelp reviews (thanks all you other users:)). Wow, I'm so glad I tried them out. Wonderful pedicure experience! My technician was Tom and he was great. The salon is super clean. The plastic liner in the foot bath is changed between each client. There are 8 regular size pedicure chairs and a smaller one for a youngster. The chairs are good for any size person and are very comfy. In fact the pedicure chairs look brand new. I went for the mid priced pedicure package, cost $35.00, which included paraffin treatment. Also had my brows done, cost $10.00, in a nice separate room used for waxing procedures. Atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. All employees were nice and friendly. They do take appointments as well as walk-ins. I found my new salon and will be going back! read more

On 7/29/20 I went to have a "spa" day, one of which was to get my eyebrows waxed. "Annie" was the lady that waxed my eyebrows, leaving that to be the last thing to do. After pulling the left eyes strip off, I told her that my eye lid was burning and she said "oh it's burning"...I said yes! She then out oil, aloe Vera and alcohol, all of which still burned and I told her. Today 7/30/20 I woke up with my eye swollen and with a burn mark on it. I went to the shop after work and showed the "manager" and all he said was..."oh the wax was probably hot". Ummmmm, you think!!!!!! He wasn't compassionate or empathetic and didn't even offer a refund for the wax job that has now left me with a burn mark which will then turn to a scab. I have been going there for years and now I will never go back for the lack of empathy I was shown. I DO NOT recommend this place to get a wax service done. read more

I went in today for a basic pedicure and gel/no chip manicure after a not-so-great experience a few weeks ago at a different salon in the area. Ivy took care of me and did a fantastic job! She was meticulous and even redid one of my fingernails when she inspected them at the end...I didn't even notice anything wrong, but I could tell she wanted to make sure she was happy with her work. I was there for a while (about 90 minutes), but it was because she did a good job and wasn't rushing me out, which I appreciate. I will definitely be coming here again and requesting her to do my nails. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! They offer iPads to play while getting our pedicure done. Not only that but they also serve wine and different types of sodas and water for FREE!!!! During the weekdays they offer a special pedicure and manicure for ONLY $35. Unbelievable. The amount of price is fair not too expensive at all for an extravagant place like this. They also have 250 different varieties colors of gels to choose from. I have never seen so many colors of gels in my life. The workers are very friendly. Everyone is really friendly in here. This place is like a paradise when getting a pedicure or get their nails done. The environment is really relaxing that would makes you want to fall asleep. The people here were super nice however, first they told me the acryllic set i wanted was 35 but that i would look better with gel which would be an additional 10 or 15. Then after he got all the nails on me he told me that i needed to also put on a black gep under coat putting me at 75 dollars. I said absolutely not. I was then forced to pick from a limited set of options because he already put a certain type of nail on me undef false pretenses. I thought fine whatever, even though I came to this place specifically for the metallic nail set. I thought its fine because I am just paying 35 at most. I get a standard purple color, basic purple took him 10 minutes to paint them. I get up to the counter and they charged me 50 dollars. Thats absolutely insane, this is bait and switch and they totally screwed me. If you come here pay up front, dont wait until after. read more

I have had two pedicures at VIP Nails. The first one was pretty decent, but I brought my own polish and had a young lady do my nails that was very attentive and did a pretty thorough job. The second one I had last week was done by a young man who seemed completely disinterested, hardly exfoliated my feet at all, didn't even buff my nails before painting them, and did a horrible job of painting my toenails with gloppy polish from their stock. I also discovered the day after that when he had clipped the toe nail on one of my big toes he left a big chunk not fully clipped at the end that I didn't see because it wasn't polished. I did, however, feel it in a rather painful fashion when I put on some closed-toe shoes. I will find somewhere else to get my pedicures from now on. read more

VIP nails is a clean salon with meticulous technicians. The girl that did my nails took her time and did a fantastic job. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is their lack of variety in polish colors. I am partial to OPI and while they have some OPI polish, there is not a lot of options unless you like red. In summer, I would like to see some corals, pinks... Even some nudes! Yes I am picky... But if I am paying for a mani pedi, I don't want some cheap polish I could have gotten at the dollar store. My suggestion: bring your own polish and this place would be awesome! read more

I came here because I had a gift certificate. It is a very clean and welcoming establishment. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pricing is extremely competitive with other area nail salons. Massage chairs are amazing! Each nail tech's attention to detail is fantastic.
