They should really work on cleaning the wash machines properly. Most of them smell like mildew and the glass has hard water and detergent stains. It used to be better but it's just gotten lazy. Also the dryers are supposed to get 5 mins per quarter but on some of them only 4 mins is given. If you go here just be sure to smell the washers before using or bring disinfectant wipes to at-least get the smell out before you wash. read more

Thank goodness for this place. Our dryer died on us . Ugh !! I haven't been to a laundry mat in years. I was worried and it's COVID time. Well I am so glad we came here. This place was clean and spacious. Washers and dryers worked great. It was nice to do all the clothes and bedding in like 1 1-2 hours. My dryer broke two days before our family trip. With not much time on hand, I gathered our laundry and headed to happy laundry. This was my first time there and I was impressed by how clean and easy the machines were to use. The convenience of using a credit card or going to the coin machine, made it a breeze to do six loads of wash and two oversized loads in the dryer. It only took about an hour and 15 minutes so I had the rest of my day back to get ready for our vacation! Very clean, the machines always seem to be working unlike many places, and I've rarely had to wait for a turn because its not usually busy at the times I go. The ladies that work here are very nice. They greet me with a smile when I enter, thank me and wave goodbye when I leave, and are quick to help if you need it even with a slight language barrier. They've even helped me fold giant sheets without me asking when they noticed my struggle. What more could you ask for from a laundromat? The workers have never rushed me or made me feel unwelcome. If you're trying to walk in to start your laundry an hour before close and you feel rushed because of that, that's not the laundry ladies' fault- that's your own poor planning. read more

For a week this laundromat was enforcing the wearing of masks. There was an attendant keeping things pretty clean. With the masks and the attendant present people were physically distancing pretty well. Today I was in to wash laundry and half of the customers were not wearing masks. The big sign on the door stating that no one would be permitted in the business unless wearing a mask is gone. No attendant, and the place was looking less clean - and definitely not sanitized in any way. I'm done withe Happy Laundry. It's headed toward being just another dumpy laundromat. read more

For everyone saying that the older Mexican lady there is mean yes she is in some ways you just have to match her energy. This is probably the best one in the entire city in my opinion. I came here today to wash and dry 3 comforters. I was able to get them into the washers that take a charge card. But I went to use the dryer's and they were all taken except the ones that require money. I figured it wasn't a issue because I have a card but I tried to use the change machine to get money and it was broken. All the dryers were done but the clothes were still in them but they're was only a handful of people inside so they could have been there waiting for whoever left them came back. The bathroom was out of order. There was no attendant. This was a big headache. I remember everything working and the attendant being available. Arrived at 8pm from a camping trip. There was a Hispanic woman just sitting inside on her phone with no other customers insight. As i walked in she told me Spanish it was closed. I pointed to the sign on the door that reads 7am-10pm daily last wash at 8:30pm and she fervently shook her head no. I asked why and she just kept repeating "tomorrow" when i pressed why again she finally said she "had to go" i went back to my car and watched her resume her seat staring at her phone. On of the things that spoke to me the most was the cleanliness of the facilities, and as I work remotely, the wifi access. I wish I would give no stars. The older Hispanic lady that works here seems to not like certain people. She hates kids and she makes up her own rules. She goes over and opens my door and touches my clothes it seems like on purpose. She also walked away from me while I was talking to her bc she I guess was irritated with me. She sits and watches you with an angry face and talks shit to her friend. She should be fired but the owner doesn't care. Look at how many bad comments on here about here over the year and she still is allowed to work there. Obviously the owner only cares about making money, well she definitely lost all my business. Nefore entering, it was nice and quiet. Just the low buzz of music, and it was a five star rating about to happen. Then the music was turned up loud. There were five of us in there, and the only thing missing was a disco ball. Yes, that loud, and here I sit, in my car, about 10 yards from the door, yet the music is loud enough that I've rolled my windows up. They have an array of detergents and fabric softeners, but they're all located behind a counter, and you must wait for the employee. Fortunately, as I previously stated, the res only five customers. I didn't know who was the employee, but I can see a much longer wait and some confusion when it's busy. On the plus side, their washing supplies are very inexpensive, and all the front load washers are much cheaper than other laundromats I've taken my linens to. Next, despite the new equipment, the credit/debit card reader, attached to the washing machine I used, twice declined my card. Only a fraction have the card readers on them, and all take coins. Perhaps I came on a slow day, one which everyone is just relaxing and having a good time, but the music is what killed the 5 star review. If not for that, it would've been a four star. One last note, there's A LOT of homeless here. Three have passed me since I began this review a few minutes ago. I would not come here after sunset. read more

Telling me why am I paying with "large bills" when it was simply a twenty then continued to say that "people like me" come in, in order to drain her of her change. If you think a $20 is a large bill for 4 loads you might be working in the wrong profession lady. Maybe take a basic math course? Also "people like me" is what keeps your in business opened so maybe be a bit more considerate when it comes to the people who are supporting your business. Washers were clean, entire area was clean and well kept. There was a large area to wait and sit for laundry to be done. I was able to get in and out quickly. Woodland desperately needed a nice place to do laundry! I came here a couple of years ago and I was extremely uncomfortable because of the way this place attracted bad people and was so dirty! This place is amazing now! Very clean, brand new everything, and best of all they take credit cards for washers and dryers! No more carrying around tons of quarters! My husband dropped his laundry off here while I was out of town on vacation and they are only $1 per pound so that is such a great deal! Honestly 1 star is too much for this place. The ladies running this place are the nosiest people ever. I went and placed a couple loads for the first time here and I won't go there again. I have my own washer and dryer at home so I'm not used to using these machines, so I put the detergent and softener where it asked for them. When I finished my washing and went towards the dryer one of the ladies comes up to me to let me know The soap stayed behind and my clothes didn't get clean but that they closed at 815 and it was 645 at the time. A few minutes later the other lady comes to let me know that the clothes was still dirty and that they closed at 745?? So which is it 815, 745 or 830 bc the previous day I called to ask at what time they closed. They have a small TV to watch as you wait and also other amenities such as a bathroom and coin machine for quarters. I see people posting about homeless people and yeah but go any other laundry place in Woodland and you'll notice the same the owner is amazing Maria is super resourceful and assists in every matter she has great customer service and tries to resolve any problem. I come here to wash my heavy comforters and Maria always helps!
