Happy hound has been very good to me and my dogs, I called up and schedule me, and the best part is my dogs come out looking great, also they call you 15 minutes before pick up so you know to be ready. 5 Stars. We took our 3 very different dogs to Happy Hounds. A 2 year old, 75 pound, Golden Retriever, an 11 year old, 30 pound Corgi-mix, and a 10 month old, 10 pound Schnauzer-mix. In at 1:30 and out at 5pm. They did a great job and the doggos were good. Happy Clean Hounds! Convenient location with easy parking. It is now our Dog Salon of choice. read more

The service didn't work for us. I'm leaving this review so that the ownership takes notice. We wish everybody the best. Our first time there. They didn't tell us cash only, they didn't want to wash our 12 pound malti-poo because it was being scared so they gave him a haircut ONLY. When I picked him up they told me "he was actually ok but we didn't want to traumatize him so we just gave him a haircut this time and maybe he will get used to us". I now have to find a different place to bath, cut nails, and brush teeth. Already called a few I'm not mad or upset, just want ownership to know exactly what happened. read more

We love Happy Hound! Our doodle, Watson, always looks beautiful when he leaves the Hound. We are asked by neighbors and strangers alike about where he goes for his Spa Day. Our dog had had some unfortunate experiences at other groomers and it took many months for him to calm down, but Jason (the owner of Happy Hound) persisted with kindness and patience. Many thanks to Jason for not giving up on our dog, and to Paula who now does Watson's grooming. He looks fabulous, he is calm when we pick him up, what could be better! I took my 2 poodles one is mini and one is toy today. I have been grooming them myself but the toy is a puppy and she doesn't cooperate so she needs a pro to teach her. Jason was very nice. Making an appointment was easy. Bonus was the price! And they did a great job! I will be taking them back for sure! Next month I am retuning first the non anesthesia teeth cleaning! read more

I've taken my pup here for both grooming and non-anesthetic teeth cleaning and have had great experiences both times! Highly recommend this place, I've been searching for a more holistic approach to doggy dental work for a while and every place I've inquired on charges an arm and a leg for the service or does not offer services without anesthesia-this place was affordable and did an amazing job on my pup! Her teeth look so sparkly & clean and they gave a full report on her dental health with recommendations for follow up and at home care. The grooming service was $25 and included a bath and dry, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and expressing of the anal glands-which most small dogs can benefit from. The staff here is so friendly and sweet and the service is prompt and unbeatable! This is my new favorite doggy spa for my fur baby, she also gives it two paws up read more

I prefer to not write negative reviews, I moved into the area about a year ago it took me awhile to find a grooming salon me and my pet truly feel comfortable with. I couldn't help to come on and mention that the new customer service recently is terrible as soon as I walk in the gentlemen is very defensive as well as he was on the phone. My pet was very terrified for the first time at happy hounds and did not want to even go with the male that was at the front desk.. I would love to think a place of business would have a professional upbeat receptionist. I will no longer be a returning customer. read more

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I have been taking Coco, my Shih Tzu, to a certain groomer for years, but it is a bit far from me. My dog, Coco, was recently diagnosed with heart problems, and is taking medications. I wanted to find a groomer that was closer to my house just in case something happened. After searching for a couple of days I decided to give Happy Hound a go. The process was super easy. I called Monday to make an appointment, and was given a slot for Wednesday. The day of, when I arrived, I called and Jason went outside to get Coco, I gave him the instructions on how I wanted her haircut, and most important, I told him about the condition she has. He told me not to worry, and if something were to happen, they would give me a call. 2 hours later I received a 15 minute heads- up that Coco would be ready soon. When I arrived, I called, she was brought out and I paid. I will definitely be returning back. Also, can't beat the price. Super affordable compared to other groomers. I want to give Jason a shout out for being understanding and taking care of Coco! read more

I have a two legged timid rescue and a 12 year old grouchy Pomeranian who is at the end of her life... The Happy Hound Team are amazing with both of them! The team approaches them slowly, sensitively and with care. Truly I feel they they care for them like as their own and that means the world to us. I am so beyond grateful we found them! Today I took my puppy Buddy into Happy Hound for the first time. I was uneasy and nervous worried about how my Pom was going to look. As soon as I got there I was greeted in a very friendly manner and needless to say was put at ease about leaving my baby there. When I returned to pick up Buddy he looked great, perfect cut I was very impressed and would refer all my friends to "Happy Hound". Buddy was in need of a trim to say the least and they nailed it. I could not have asked for a better cut. On my way home (Buddy sits on my left hand side by the open window of my VW van) while I was stopped at a traffic light a couple across the street remark at what a cute puppy I had and they actually said they loved his hair cut. How cool is that !! Buddy will be going back for sure. Try Happy Hound you won't be disappointed, Thank you Happy Hound for doing such a great job on Buddy. ZERO STARS PLEASE !!! Where do I start with this SHIT SHOW experience I had . First and last time I will be taking my pup to this place .! If you value your pup do not bring him here they will ruin them ! First off I set an appointment with them at 10 am but didn't take my pup in until 11:45 am . When I tell you i was in shock and I cried when she first brought him to me ! They freakin SHAVED SHAVED !!!! My poor pups ears he is a Labradoodle with now SHAVED TO THE SKIN ears . He look ridiculous! they trimmed him up and it looks choppy . Not all dogs are groomed the same . If you can't or don't know how to properly groom a certain breed please don't take them in to make a quick buck and screw them . They gave me a price and once it came time to pay they charged me more than the original price that was first set . I am very upset and hope no one else goes through this !!! Please please save yourself the trouble and do your research and make sure they know how to groom accordingly!! read more

This was the first time taking our two little dogs here. One is 15 1/2 so we have been looking for a groomer who wouldn't keep them for hours, as he gets anxious. They had not been able to be groomed in 3 months, and being their first time here, I didn't know what to expect. Well I am beyond pleased! Jason did a wonderful job and my dogs look fantastic.
