Literally the WORST experience I have ever had with a moving company. Top three of a long list 1) they broke a priceless family heirloom marble coffee table by dropping it off the back of their truck. 2) they stained my white furniture with dirty handprints and had to get it professionally cleaned 3) they broke my washing machine. I have no idea how this is even possible. The door hinge was was off but thought ok not a big deal and I was already so overwhelmed with the broken table that I couldn't even process the level of negligence. Upon my first use, I find that the entire spinning mechanism is broken, due to dropping that as well, causing me to call a repairman. They only deducted a meager $100 for the broken table top from a $1,300 invoice. This move has now cost me thousands of dollars, and that does not include the priceless antique table top. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience has been mind blowing. read more

I moved from Temecula to Ventura and this move was much better than I anticipated with just a couple of hiccups. The first was no masks. That is really the reason for the 4 stars. They by default were not wearing a single mask. When I asked they said they really don't believe in them but after a few minutes they all agreed to wear them if it made me feel more comfortable. I explained I did, so the masks went on. The guys were so nice and they really worked hard. They left here so late and I felt so bad it had taken so long but I honestly couldn't have done this without them. NOTE: I just wished I had listened to the owner when he told me that we may need two trucks. I had to go back and get the rest of my things the next day with a small moving truck. read more

Friendly service and priced slightly better than other quotes for the area. Jeff and Jason were professional, friendly, and very fast. They got everything done in an hour, though we did have to pay for the three hour minimum. They arrived about an hour late but we had flexibility so it wasn't a big deal. If you have a tight moving window, just be sure to mention that ahead of time. I'd be glad to hire these two again. read more

I cannot thank Eddie and Jeff enough from Happy Moovers! I have 31 big boxes shipped from oversea. Eddie and Jeff arrived on time according to the schedule I requested (after work). Eddie is very patient and he listens to me and put all the boxes in the places I asked him to. The entire process was unimaginable quick and smooth. Eddie and Jeff coordinated very well to offload all the boxes from the truck first under the stairs. And Eddie climbed the stairs to put each big and heavy box in the place where I asked him to. I posted some pictures to show what a wonderful job Eddie has done so all the boxes are nicely placed without blocking the public walking area. Jeff coordinated very well with Eddie and Jeff make the delivery process so easy and it released my anxiety of handling such a big delivery on my own! I had planned to use a different moving company but they kept charging more and more because they charged by volume (which made no sense to me). I booked this guys to move my 2 bedroom apartment, it wasn't the easy job since I was moving from second floor to another apartment on the second floor ( a lot of stairs ). But guys where super professional. They came in time, carefully wrapped all of my furniture, took apart my bed and the assembled it back in my new apartment. They used protectant runners on stairs to protect it from scratches. Move went super easy and smooth because of this guys, highly recommend! read more

Used Happy Home Movers to move my 2BR apartment. Not a single negative thing to say, really. The communication with the owner, Sergey, was very good. Two bonus points to him: (1) after we already agreed on everything, he contacted me to shift the time to an earlier hour, knowing that it would be more convenient for me; (2) he stopped by for a few minutes to make sure, everything was going well. There was a very big truck and three movers, who all were careful, friendly, and polite, and who helped me with assembling the furniture. The apartment, where I moved into, was a bit tricky: 3rd floor, very long hallway, and access to the elevator from a low-ceiling underground parking, but everything went smoothly. The whole thing took a bit less time and cost a bit less than I expected from their estimate. Again, only positive things to say. Would absolutely use their services again. read more

I had sold my hot tub and needed to move it to its new "home".The hot tub came with the home and I had never used it so my knowledge was... minimal at best. Removing it from my backyard was going to be a challenge as the side gate was smaller than the hot tub. Sergey came out the same day that I called him, gave me a reasonable estimate, discussed his plan and coordinated with the buyer in a prompt and polite way. He came out on a Saturday with an estimate and he and his crew arrived on time on Tuesday, disassembled it and reassembled it at its new home within hours! If you don't want additional stress on moving day I would not recommend this company. One of the two guys wanted to take smoke breaks every 45 mins or so and barely worked at all while the other guy did all the work. So basically, I paid for two guys but really for 1.5 guys. It took them over 5 hours to move one person from a tiny one bedroom and I had everything boxed and in my garage except for the furniture I couldn't carry down by myself. They also failed to bring wardrobe boxes and I had to wait over an hour for the guy to deliver some. They also got a stain on my couch and didn't give any discounts but said to clean it with tide. Additionally, we left the old house at the same time but they didn't arrive at the new place for a good 25 mins after me. Not sure where they disappeared to. At the end they only subcontracted 30 mins for breaks when it should've been at least an hour. If you don't like babysitting and debating over break time, use another company. And now he is claiming I don't know what company I used as to discredit my review. I even talked to him after my move. The team was Jeff and Jamal as in the photos. I am writing this review over a month after my move cause that's how bad my experience was. read more
