Unfortunately, recently in a discussion with Dr Mitchell my husband found out that it is their practice to schedule basil MOHS treatment out to up to 8 weeks and squamous out to 6 weeks after biopsy results. This gives the biopsied specimen all that extra time to spread. Researching on the internet we learned that the recommended time frames are 4 and 3 weeks respectively. To us it appears that the practice values money over their clients' welfare. The practice we changed to has already identified 3 new areas os squamous cell skin cancer this makes 4 areas of which 3 have already been treated. I love this practice we changed to.

I have been here for a facial, extractions, and now masseter botox for my jaw clenching. Lauren, who really helped with some congestion I was experiencing along my jawline from hormonal acne was very thorough and detailed in her process. The hydrafacial I received in addition the extractions, have really been a game changer for me. Ashley, who prescribed me tretinoin which helps with fine lines, acne, and just overall boost in my skincare had great bedside service where I ended up scheduling my botox appointment for mt masseters. She gave me a run down and left the floor open for any questions. Honestly, the botox appointment was so fast I was very impressed. 2 weeks later, I have had very minimal clenching in my jaw and will definitely be back in Ashley's chair by the end of the year for my touch up. Happy I was referred to this dermatology office for my skin care needs and concerns.

Fortunately, they were proactive and did not have the usual three reams of paperwork to fill out. The checked on my VA health care benefits and I ended up using another insurance as the path of least resistance but they gave me the number to call to get the VA thing squared away. This has got to be the closest to a small-town doctor's office of old that I could imagine. All family run, from the front desk to the nurse to the doc himself. They listened, they gave suggestions to help mitigate the discomfort. The only thing they couldn't do was speed up the recovery.....they can't control time. What they do do is respect your time. In and out in a jiffy but not rushed at all. They prove medical care shouldn't be an all-day affair. I left there feeling sick but knowing I was on the path to recovery. While I don't live there, I do visit, and if I need an MD I know the OneStop I am going to make and it is at One Stop Medical......Thanks. Our first few visits were fantastic--the injector we met (I can't remember her name) was warm, professional, and really made us feel at ease. The spa is beautiful, neat/clean and the front staff are usually kind and professional. We loved the service and results and decided to make Glow Bar our go-to spot for injectables. Unfortunately, over time things changed when we started getting booked with the owner, and the overall experience and vibe became noticeably different. Not sure if she's just not a people person, or if it's some sort of complex, but her overall bedside manner is non existent. Every appointment got more awkward, and rushed. Whenever we asked questions, instead of feeling listened to or educated it felt like we were being talked at and dismissed. As clients, we don't expect someone to always agree with us or tell us what we want to hear. We DO value professional guidance and education, but there's a difference between providing expertise and making clients feel unheard or uncomfortable for asking questions. We also noticed a pattern where she kept pushing different products than what we originally came for. And I get it, part of the job is informing clients about options, but the way she did it felt forceful/hostile rather than informative. After repeated experiences like this, it genuinely started to feel as though we were not the type of clients she valued or wanted to work with. If that's the case, I think it would be better to be upfront about the type of clientele they prefer rather to making people feel unwelcome over time while still taking their hard earned money. The last straw for us was just a few months ago. After years of booking here, we had a real emergency and had to call and cancel last minute. And instead of a standard courtesy message or an email (like most established businesses do), she sent a personal angry text to my phone. It came across more like a threat than a professional policy reminder. It's really disappointing, we stayed for years, hoping things would improve, because we had such a positive experience in the beginning but we realized that every appointment left us feeling anxious and uncomfortable than confident. And that says a lot. I'm sharing this for future clients: results matter, but so does feeling respected and safe in the process.
