Driving around, we came across Happy Cattle BBQ. The place was empty at first, but then people started coming in quick. Felt like we got there at the right time. The place still looked brand new and had a really nice Asian restaurant vibe. It was a mix of Chinese and Korean two in one. Service was really good. One guy was running around doing everything but still checked on us, super nice about it too. We started with the crab rangoon, which I always get to see if a place is gonna be good. Crispy, golden, and crunchy. The filling was creamy with a little sweetness and had a nice flavor to it. I kept going back for another one... and another. Got the beef lo mein and Szechuan chicken. Food came out fast and hot. Lo mein had this nice smoky thing going on, noodles weren't soggy, and the beef was tender, juicy. The Szechuan chicken had a solid kick. The chicken was super flavorful, really well seasoned, and the peppers and onions added a nice crunch. All portions were solid, we had so much leftovers and the whole experience was really good. We ordered carryout from here last month, and my apologies for not writing a review then. They are located on 78th and Harlem with plenty of parking. Although they are still in their soft opening, we decided to dine in. Staff are very warm, friendly, and welcoming. It is airy and bright, and I love the modern decor. We ordered coconut milk tea, crab rangoon, shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was on point and delicious. I really liked their hot mustard sauce. It has a nice kick to it. All the dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, and tasty. Hubby asked for a little more spice in the Mongolian beef, and they delivered the right amount. This is a neighborhood staple, and we can't wait to try their hot pot. We will definitely be back! read more

Discovered this place after a trip to Panera. So glad I forgot where I was going and turned the wrong way for my next destination. At the time, they were just opening. The had a drive through special for .99 fried rice. I went in planning to get the rice and try something else. I was greeted when I came in and encouraged to sit anywhere. The tables are set beautifully. The hot pot set up is so pretty. I wish that I had taken pictures but I forgot. Initially I didn't realize that the deal for the fried rice was for the drive thru only.When I placed the order the gentleman (perhaps the owner) let me know the offer was for the drive thru but I could get it as a carryout. I was prepared for the special to be limited to a flavor but it was not. It included beef, chicken, pork and vegetable. I ordered the chicken wings and took the chicken fried rice to go. He checked on me several times. The chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly. I had leftovers. I ate the rice later on and it was so good and fresh, just like the fried chicken. I've also enjoyed the won ton soup and the stir fried chicken. Each dish was delicious, filling and fresh. On each visit, the service was great and the food delicious. My sister recommended this place. I do like the extensive menu options of Korean and Chinese food . The Drive-through was a definite plus for me. I ordered a shrimp fried rice, was season good and also fresh. Mongolian beef, Kung pow, shrimp, and lo mein order. I will say that their entrées do have a good meat, to vegetable ratio. The shrimps were fresh cleaned and deveined. The beef was tender and it was so good. The veggies were fresh, not cut too big. Sometimes in restaurants, I prefer the vegetables be cut smaller. I really liked their taro Boba milk. I think this place is a great addition to the area. price was average as of the other local restaurants. This was Chinatown quality good Chinese food for me, IMO. I will be back again. I'm looking forward to trying the hot pot here. read more

Cooked the food fresh. Very tasty. Call ahead when you order or you'll be waiting a bit. It's worth the wait though. Way better fresh than the usual stuff you get that sits under a heat lamp. read more

I was able to try food from their Chinese menu and it tested fresh and very flavorful. I recommend getting the fried rice. I wasn't able to try their hot pot or bbq yet but I'll be returning to try it out. I was also able to try their crab rangoog and boba and it's all really good and I recommend trying them. The staff were also welcoming and attentive, I was even able to chat with them for a bit. I appreciate that the space was open so that's a natural light was able to come in.
