Beyond disappointed. The pictures looked so great. I dunno maybe I'll try again another time...I got the salmon omelette and the home fries...I didn't receive my salsa on the side which I paid for. The salmon omelette, salty. The home fries, no flavor. Also, they don't even look how they looked in the picture. It was just dry and flavorless. I dunno yall, get something else from here and you might have better luck I hope. read more

Working next to this place great food and service. Open early in the morning if you want breakfast before going to work.

Food is great. Huge portions I always see people leaving with a doggie bag. Tia is awesome I go back for the customer service. Inside is nice looks like a typical diner. Also has a drive through. read more

I'm writing this review based off of a recent delivery, but I really loved their breakfast! It's always a gamble ordering breakfast for delivery, especially if it's a place you're not familiar with. But for some reason, when scrolling through Grubhub, this place called out to me. I say ignore the low stars on there because this place definitely delivered. The French toast was huge, and fluffy. My fiancé said his orange juice was legit fresh squeezed. He also ordered corn beef and he was definitely not disappointed. Portions were huge, I could barely eat half. They don't even use the cheap sausage that some joints use. I'm now slipping into a coma, which is not great since I'm working from home - eek. I would definitely order from them again! read more

Amazing service and delicious food and dessert!! Highly recommend the turkey sandwich !! Thanks for making it special Tia read more

Happy Boy Grill - Delicious 1st date dessert! - Burgers Near Me - Compton, California

I was referred here by a coworker. I'll start by saying the ladies working were the best thing about this establishment. The grits were uncooked and I just wanted it removed and my server came back with a new bowl cooked correctly. She wanted to make things right and I'm very happy but the rest of the breakfast was awful. # 1 sausage link was salty, soft meat and just not right #2 all the jelly packages was so old it was stuck in the package.#3 Denver omelet was over cooked slice cheese was just wrong to use. And horchata was watery and tasteless. I wanted the thank the ladies for all the effects to correct the problems, but I wasn't up to complaining because they were sooo sweet. read more

Great service the fried zucchini is amazing I come here every time for my zucchini. I promise u will not be disappoint

Doesn't look like much when you drive by it, especially in the area that's it's in being very industrial. However, for those that work in the area or stop by, this place is a hidden gem. My go to is the chicken breast sandwich which is juicy, tender, and delicious. If your in the area they are definitely worth a try! read more

I just want to say! Mom and pop burger stands are my favorite over any franchise burger spot. I seek them out and yesterday I found this spot. I was greeted by an amazing employee by the name of Tia. She was beyond sweet and had so much pride from working there. She said when she is at work, its like she is home! Which when she was serving me..she made me feel like we were home. The food was so good and all the sauces were store made. That is rare in these days. Definitely high reviews. I can't wait to go back! read more

Everything on the menu is good . Especially the lengua tacos! Come see Tia on Tuesday's to get your samples of the lengua, Chile verde and salsas! The grilled chicken wrap is delicious. You can even stop by after work for a cold one. Wish I would've came sooner because the service from Tia is the reason I keep coming back! read more

Food was nasty asf everything was plain and bland no taste , it was cold 0 out of 10 don't even want to eat no more French toast soggy , some white stuff on it , cantaloupe came with it and it was hot like why ? Don't make no sense turkey bacon stuff no taste , dry everything thing just no taste. Never again. I rather cook it myself. read more

This is one of the best diners around! Food here is so delicious and incredible! Tia and her staff are just the best! You can tell they all use their hearts, in serving, cooking, customer service! I can't wait to go back again!! If you are looking for amazing homemade food, look no further. Everything on the menu is ridiculously amazing!!! read more

I can't stop coming back to this place. Carne asada fries, breakfast burrito. That's all I can say. The manager lady is . Said I should call in and stop using this app to order so I don't get the extra chargers. Love the honesty. read more

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing experience, they where very welcoming and quick with food.

Ordered a Carne Asada burrito and salad bowl this morning using Grubhub. The salad bowl was horrible, it was chunks of cantaloupe, it tasted like garlic and not ripe, hard as rock with no flavor. Apparently they cross-contaminate food using the same knife they chopped garlic with to cut the fruit. We threw it out. I called to let them know, got an apology but no offer to refund the fruit salad. Fresh produce items shouldn't be on their menu if they don't know how to prepare it properly. The person who ate the burrito said it was OK, nothing special. Never ordering from here again. read more

I really like coming to this place they have great service, especially when Tia is there. Every time I've come here my food is hot and fresh. My favorite meal here is the 10pcs chicken wing plate. Their chili cheese pastrami fries is also super good. read more

Me, my wife, and daughter went there last night and was greeted by the most happiest, joyful lady I've ever meet at a drive thru window. Her name was Tia. The food was great but the lady made it even better. She kept us entertained while our food was getting prepared. She told us of stories of how the restaurant gives left over food to the homeless at closing and how she go out her way to help Dave the local homeless guy. This was our first time there and because of her I will go back as well as the good food. Thank you guys. Mr. Wallace of Gardena read more

Great food that you know is freshly prepared and that I would recommend to anyone. Freshly squeezed juice was great and I loved their wings. Great service, that makes you want to come back, Tia and her staff are great and welcoming. read more

Very convenient and takes EBT Food is average. And the workers are very friendly. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Tia was very wonderful and gave me a very good suggestion for food and drink. She was kind and had great service!

I went to the drive thru to order and the girl says " give me a minute" I politely said no problem . 5 mins later no one answer, I said " hello" and nothing . I waited 10 mins and no one ever came to take my order. I drove off . Horrible customer service read more

Worth the waitttt!!!! Their Asada fries is loaded with meat and of everything!!!!! The customer service is really good !!!!!!

First time back since new owner ship . It was nice to see new faces and it been clean . I Order the steak dinner , the meat was tender and tasty. Personal was friendly and service was fast. With only 1/2 hr break , I can still take a 20 min Siesta. Will be back to explore their items with a large Varieties on there menu . I highly recommend it to all my trucker buddies. read more

Well, this spot wanted to loose business this evening. We pulled up around 8pm and the typical question is asked; "welcome, can I take your order?" We said "just a moment" and they said "let me know when you're ready." After about a minute of deciding, we said "thank you, we're ready." Them: Silence. Us: Hello? Them: Silence Us: hello, we're ready. Them: more silence. We waited about 5 minutes to hopefully get to order. There was a car at the window waiting for their food while we were parked waiting to order. The place doesn't close until 9:30pm on a Friday, so I know time wasn't the issue. We literally pulled out and left to the next burger joint. They got our coins that night, not Lucky Burger! Bye! read more

Tia is Amazing and a absolute Angel! The food and customer service is phenomenal and never a bad experience when I come here. The staff make you feel right at home whether you're dining in or simply going thru the drive thru. I'm here all the time and each time gets better and better!!! read more

The service here is amazing the older women there is beautiful don't know her name but her whole attitude is amazing definitely returning to eat here with my family the food is great for a burger place read more

Best breakfast in my area and this joint just open and prices are decent big portions

The burritos are always inconsistent, and the chicken is never cooked well. I ordered 3 times here and the chicken tasted rubbery and the burritos all had different flavors read more

They take forever for the food to come out and the cooks don't wear gloves. Just because the name is different doesn't mean their practices are better than Piggies. This establishment should be randomly checked by health department more than the normal visits. They have a sign for "best breakfast in LA" yet it took me almost 30 mins to get it and they messed up my order twice. I don't even know how this business is still here. read more

Good burger but limp fries. Limp as pasta. I ordered a cheeseburger but they forgot the cheese!

Place sucks don't go here!!! First and last time!!! Drive thru lady has an attitude and can't even take orders. Food is horrible!!! Stay Away!!! read more

Very clean and great customer service. Their smoothies are pretty good too. Would recommend for those in Carson.

Ever since they change this place it has super went downhill.. avoid this place like the plague because food is so disgusting hamburgers are soggy french fries taste like fried fish and oily and bacon taste rotten ... went to get my money back and take them their food read more

Went here for the first. Food is good had the club sandwich with homemade ranch. Tia is super nice . Other items that taste good chilli and the melon drink was really good as well. Will try again when in the area! read more

Just to order from the drive-through window took 10 minutes with a car sitting at the window waiting for their food. Once I made my order I sat behind a car in front of me for another 15 minutes before they finish their order and I was not addressed for another 10 more minutes before somebody came and asked if I order the same. They took my payment and took another 15 more minutes to finally get my sandwich. This is completely unacceptable unprofessional and where are the staff there should be fired!!! I ordered a tuna melt and what I thought was a grilled tuna sandwich with no condiments nothing! I do not recommend going to this restaurant as their customer service is horrible the wait time at a drive-through was approximately from waiting for the order to be placed till I finally got my food 35 minutes!!! This is completely unacceptable and necessary and to be honest I am very surprised if they're still in business. The sandwich was so so at best read more

Food is always consistent, but today was not a very pleasant experience. We went to breakfast and invited a friend to join us. It was extremely hot. Maybe the air conditioning wasn't working, but the front door was open and it made things worse because our food and we were attacked by flies the whole time we were there. read more

I got the French Toast meal. French toast was okay. Eggs were okay too. Nothing special. I asked to replace sausage for hashbrowns since I don't eat meat and they didn't do it so that was lame. Payed for something to throw it away. Fries were about the only good part about this meal. Honestly wouldn't recommend but if you wanna try it for yourself. read more

Ooooh Weeeee! I've never had a problem with this establishment at all. Today, was a whole different day. I went through the drive thru, and a vehicle before me,returned their food. I don't know what they ordered, but the bag I received wasn't a new bag. I checked the cheeseburger, and it wasn't hot at all. I told the female at the window, she wasn't trying to hear it,and I told her I didn't want it. She told me to give her back the food and she'll return my money. "Oh Wow!" In other words,I don't want your business!!That kind of nasty customer service, will never have to worry about me anymore!!! read more

Right in the cut my girlfriend and i were kind of skeptical but we see it all the time. However, Tina and her customer service made our first time turn us into future repeats everything is made fresh here The chili, clam chowder are really good and we loved the carne Asada fries. Usually eat my food bland but the Guacamole and Pico de Gallo are cooked while the food is cooking. Definitely not bad especially if you like the combination read more
