Wesley and his crew at Community Tree Service were fantastic. They texted ahead with their arrival…read moretime, showed up on schedule, and got right to work. Communication was excellent from start to finish. They trimmed and shaped two 40-foot trees and did a beautiful job. The trees look so much healthier, lighter, and more open now. Dead branches were removed and everything was shaped in a way that kept the natural character of the trees. What stood out most was how well the crew worked together--they seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do, and it showed. Cleanup was quick and thorough and they left the yard spotless, without a trace of the work. Very happy with the results, the price and would definitely recommend CTS.

Community Tree Service was hired to remove a over 100 ft Douglas fir on the adjacent property of…read moreours. The crew cutting the tree down did a great job, the trouble began when one of our neighbors not involved in the tree project, requested that three large logs be left behind so that he could Mill them for boards. (The attached photograph is the remains of the Milling, left spread across the road and across our driveway.) Request have been made to the neighbor who did the Milling, to clean up the mess, have gone unresponded (apparently since he can't see it from his front door it's not a problem ...) After failing to get a commitment from the neighbor who milled the wood to clean up the mess, my 68-year-old wife went out and swept up the driveway so we could drive out. I contacted Salvador at Community Tree Service and made a complaint about the mess that was left behind after a few conversations by email he assured me and his crew would come out here and clean up this mess and he apologized for any inconvenience caused by this experience . That promise was made to me 30 days ago and I'm still looking at this mess in my driveway. When we were first contacted by CUA, about this project, ( almost a year before it started) we were instructed, to be sure that all of the wood is picked up after the cutting is done, because according to CUA Community Tree Service has a reputation of leaving wood behind on projects, and not completely cleaning up their messes. If you are unfortunate enough to be forced to have Community Tree Services do work on adjacent property of yours be sure to insist that they remove all of the downed wood.

I found this company by searching for Septic Services specifically for Monterey county and came up…read morewith Jewell's Septic which also goes by H-N-G Construction. They are AMAZING.. if I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. After listening to our septic issues, Ken came over on a break from another job and we talked over options. Since we were in escrow to sell the property we needed work done quickly and even though they were very busy he made time to help us. Ken did "exploratory" work allowing us to take a more conservative and cost effective approach vs "just ripping everything out and putting in new as other companies suggested (to the tune of $18,000). Ken and his son and crew were courteous, clean, KNOWLEDGEABLE, helpful, reliable and HONEST. We recently bought another property with septic system and if we ever need work done, I will ONLY use Ken and his company. You can't go wrong with this small, family owned company!!

We are in love with our new space! The entire front yard was just a pile of dirt before Tino got to work. They worked long days and did whatever they could to not only get the job done but to do it right. For example, we had chosen particular pavers and Tino kindly suggested we try a different type of paver, given the paint color of our home and the retaining wall we chose, and we are so happy we followed his advice. I had some initial plans and pictures of what I like, and Tino ran with it - very thoughtful and creative contractor. He gave us exactly what we wanted and asked for, and he was an amazing communicator along the way. Additionally, his estimate was considerably lower than others we received, and he always tried his best to get a good deal on materials - very honest and transparent with pricing. We use Tino's company for our monthly landscaping now, and we would not hesitate for a moment to hire him again for a bigger job - so professional and excellent results - thank you, Tino!
