The reviews were great, but the cost Alpine was charging was over twice the MSRP. I called to ask what the reason for the disparity was: perhaps they had them professionally sharpened" The owner took great offense that I had, in his words, the "gall" to question his pricing model. I apologized for any offense I had caused, but he was not having it. He effectively said he was not interested in ever doing business with me again, saying 'I hope we never see you again". So, long story, short, unfortunately this is another local business where the harsh realities of trying to make a profit in a tough, increasingly online, market are taken out directly on the consumer, and the consumer is supposed to be happy and meek to be given the opportunity to shop locally. There are good stores to buy wood in Albuquerque at almost half the price. My advice is to save your money, and your sanity, and avoid this business.

Lack of follow for correction of a cabinet drawer that is not even or even secure to the main cabinets. The cabinets were not painted in certain areas properly. Hector did not show up on time to make a correction as promised, and then he called me while I was driving to work. I understand if you're going to be late so communication is key. I have taken videos and sent them to his manager Antonio and Hector with no response. Hector came once to make the paint adjustments and to realign the drawer. The paint was fine, however the adjustment of the drawer was subpar. Other than that cabinets are well-made and beautiful. I still want the drawer repaired because it is not mounted properly and uneven. My general contractor, who is doing other things to my bathroom, pointed these imperfections out to me. Please see videos and pictures. Again my intent is not to ruin someone's business, but there's a lack of communication lack of follow up and some areas of lack of quality.
