French toast platter

I never knew this place existed! It's a comforting place. You get your food quick, the food is great. It's somewhere that you'd tree at yourself to a fast, budget friendly meal alone! That's exactly what I did today and it was great! The home fries were my fav and super crispy yet packed with all the flavors .

Small size shrimp and grits

My relatives discovered this place while visiting me. They ordered several different items on the first trip including the pancake platter, shrimp & grits, and a breakfast sandwich. The pancakes are dense and are served with eggs and your choice of meat. The shrimp & grits are hearty and the shrimp to grits ratio is great. I added more salt and butter at home along with cheese to get the grits to my desired taste. The breakfast sandwich was good too. Today I ordered 2 pancake platters for a total of $16. Their prices are below average and the food is hot and packaged well for takeout. There is also indoor dining. My order was ready in about 10mins. This place is easy to miss when driving by but its worth a visit. Look for the beauty supply store as your landmark. 4 stars because I prefer lighter and fluffier pancakes and my turkey sausage less spicy.

Updated: I have recently been so disappointed with Tsam. While the food is good the staff who work at the register are very rude making the experience very unpleasant. They also disconnect their phone so it's always confusing if they're closed or busy. And make you drive all the way even just for a pick up. I understand being busy but it feels like they do not value a customers time. I am a regular customer and recently very disappointed in the service at Tsam.

French toast

My 12 year sister makes better French Toast than this never again. House fries were oily got my money back but the French toast is dry got 3 I ate half of one! The bacon taste like old grease but still edible I definitely don't recommend. The ceilingis dirty someone call Gordon Ramsay!

It was supposed to be scrambled eggs with cheese.

I've been going here for a while I live in the area the food was good at first but now I'm very disgusted I try not to be too harsh on mistakes because they happen but this seem like it led up to this point the food was starting to not taste good after a while and now I go there for pancakes eggs scrambled with cheese and bacon and I end up wanting to throw the whole thing away which I did and I gave a five dollar tip but the owner said that was for the employee which he did deserve too bad he's not the cook

The chimichurri sauce was the savory icing on chop. (I couldn't resist) My eggs were scrambled spread eagle on the plate . I never seen eggs presented in that way. Everything was hot and delicious. I am honestly writing this months later , after the fact, but I don't remember having a customer service issue. They made my favorite carrot ginger drink. I had 2 ! So spicy . One of the bartenders used to work at the Blue Lagoon and I was so happy to see her. It's so funny how you make strangers apart of your life while enjoying your meal. You don't know anything about them yet you are sad when they miss work. I think that is the "American Dream". Work hard enough for someone else to be your "server". Or your nail tech. Service providers are the backbone of our country. Tip well. A guy almost broke up with me because I gave $5 tip. Yes, you read that correctly. Anyways, I have never had a problem here ...thinking ....Nope! It's a good place to sit and have dessert. No loud music and ample space for a big group.

Decided to finally go to Eggspectation…read more I got on the waitlist via online and it said 5-7 minute wait. Got inside and was told about 20 minutes but waited about 45 minutes more. It was definitely busy and a lot of people waiting to be seated. It appeared trendy and nicely decorated. If waiting there is a bar but seating there was full as well. Parking is good if parking in the rear or the parking garage across the street on the other side of World of Beer. The menu was very inviting and mouthwatering. I ordered the Chicken and waffles, a side of eggs and fruit on top of my waffles and an espresso martini. Unfortunately the eggs were the only thing I ordered that came out ok. The check came out and it had chicken tenders and fries and eggs price was $4 which was $2 on the menu. In addition, there was gratuity added with the service being terrible only for the food and my drink. The server was attentive. The bill was paid and the server was given a tip just because. I did not get any food nor drink. The food came out with good presentation but was literally room temperature or closer to cold. I will not be coming back.

The ambiance is that of a coffee house but this coffee house is an old historic building with natural wood floors and big windows. The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. Ok, this one gets a definite try, the locals seemed to like it, it was close-ish to Columbia, and worth checking out.

We all got to go containers. Service- exceptional. We were there at 2 pm, so not a rush time. Our waitress was friendly, just the right amount of attentiveness. It's a Sunday night, dinner time, busy but no wait. Took a few minutes but got the drinks. Skipped appetizers and got straight to dinner. Kids cheese burger was truly on point and for $10 the best deal. Kids fried shrimp not bad. Wife's "fresh caught salmon" was ok, nothing special. My fish and chips...imo a disaster...breading to cod ratio was about 3:1...meaning so much batter, hardly any fish, it was a turn off. Maybe the original location is the hidden gem, but the other options in this shopping center I'd consider before dining here. Reminds me of like an upscale red lobster...but none of the delicious cheddar biscuits! I don't know, maybe we hit it at an off night, but it wasn't good nor the prices charged in relation.
