Didn't fix the problem after paying for new battery, install and new switch, and I suppose Kevin checked afterwards. FYI, I have had my dash cam for years and it was never a problem (installed by professionals) I was instructed that after market equip is not recommended for RR (and I would agree except I've had it for 3 yrs with no problem). It was disconnected when I picked it up and I haven't reconnected it. I literally thought I did my research looking for a RR mechanic but now feel dumb. I approved the work within minutes of receiving estimate. Honestly I wouldn't return. I will take it to my norm mech and find out what is really draining my battery. So it turns out my $ did nothing, new battery that I didn't need, install, new sensors and my car still draining. Why wouldn't they ask or tell me they disconnected cam, I guess thinking that was the problem. If you're not forward with customers, it's a problem.

Routine Service for MINI Cooper…read more Summary: fast, competent; routine service. More expensive but worth it. Details: My wife's 2014 MINI was due for an oil change. I took it to a place where we've generally had good service, a local chain. Things seemed OK until the next morning when I saw the MINI was leaking oil. Took it back. They said they'd fixed it (we'd had this issue before with this place for this car). Before we left I told my wife to pull the MINI out of the spot where they'd had it parked. There was fresh oil on the pavement. They said something about a wrong gasket or maybe a damaged plug. When we picked it up there was no similar oil spot. We drove it home where it sat in the driveway for two days and when my wife moved it, lo and behold, more oil in the driveway. So I looked for a place experienced with MINIs. I took it to Exotic Car Services. As I pulled up, I was pleased to see several MINIs parked on their property awaiting service. I explained to them what had happened and asked if they could provide any explanation for it I'd appreciate it. You can see what they found in the attached photo. The chain-service store was using the wrong size gasket. The "waiting room," such as it is, isn't much. However, they do have free WiFi for customers and there's a small table for a laptop. And, they did offer to drive me to a nearby Starbucks (or whatever) to wait for the service to be completed. I was able to get some work done while I waited. (I was actually grateful there was no TV blaring.) They took the car into the service bay promptly at 8:30 (the time of the appointment). I wish I could tell you how long it took, but I didn't keep track. I can say that it "felt" much faster than I'd been expecting. I don't think I was there for more than 90 minutes. We had the car serviced six days ago and so far no more evidence of leaking oil. The cost of at the chain shop that it did it wrong was significantly less. About $80 at the chain store (that included a tire rotation) and about $135 at Exotic Car Services. As near as I can tell the big difference was the cost of synthetic oil and the filter: $70 and $24 at Exotic Car and $10 and $10 at the chain store. Labor at the chain store was about two-thirds as much. Still: I give 4 stars and recommend it. I'll be taking the MINI back to this place the next time it needs service.

I just know from my years of experience that when you find a car guy that has integrity you stick with him and that is what I have found with this guy. I was going to someone else who said I needed a new battery and that the battery had a computer and the cost was going to be around $1000 from the dealership but they could do it for me for $800. I didn't do it at the time and someone recommended Victors Automotive to me so I took it in with the expectation that it was going to cost me around $800. The battery installed cost $125 at Victors. He has now done other work for me and is reasonably priced and never tries to sell up. Victor... you have a life long customer and I won't take my BMW anywhere else!

Pedro Ramirez, sales professional, came out to help me and my husband. He was very nice, very knowledgeable about the vehicle and didn't try to give me the sales pitch. He understood that we were on a tight schedule and I either wanted to make the deal or not. I wanted one vehicle, but it was not going to happen, and we had to go to another appointment. But Pedro did not stop there and while we at our appointment he was working on getting the Traverse I wanted at a price I wanted. Needless to say, they found it at another dealership and was able to get the Traverse the very next day. Pedro went through all the vehicles features with me, had it detailed answered all my questions and then some. I dealt with Leo in Financing and again he was very knowledgeable, helpful and so nice. My entire experience with them from start to finish was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend them when you want to buy your next vehicle and I absolutely love my Traverse!!!!!! Thank you Pedro and Leo!!!!

After checking with other reputable repair shops, every one of them quoted the same job between $2,700 and $3,000. That's a huge difference. When I called to pick up my car and mentioned I'd found a better price, they told me their quote was "negotiable." To me, that says a lot. A reputable shop should provide a fair, honest estimate the first time--not test how much they can get away with charging. I didn't move forward with the repair, so I can't speak to the quality of their work, but the pricing approach alone was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

Well, I bought a car from this shop…read more. It's been a decent enough car. No issues for 6months. Then the engine light came on. (P0330 knock sensor, with IMMOBILIZER & C1724, C1725,C1725,C1726 wheel dampeners) I didn't suspect the knock sensors, due to the sudden nature of the codes AND the perfectly harmonious running motor while at idle.. among other things. Anyway, I had it towed over due the car being familiar to him.. even previously owned by a relative of his.. if I'm not mistaken. So... while it was in his possession, he managed to tear one of my intake boots, (and duct taped the HELL out of it. (But, "NO CHARGE" on the invoice for the tape job ...I wonder why?) Also, come to find out he also snapped the hose connection on my Vacuum switching solenoid, and on my surge tank for the EGR system. (likely) when I refused the $2,000 repair.. He knew he had to cover it up somehow, and "wrote it off" on the report as "more error codes due to the P0330 code being on for a long period of time." And even felt the need to stipulate (for no reason, in particular) that the p.s.i. Was at perfect reading when tested. YOU KNOW THAT WAS BULLSHIT PETE! Because you busted the line trying to pull it off. Yes it was brittle.. anyone could have done it.. but just own your s%#+, man. Thanks for NOT charging me for "that" part of it. (Conveniently). It's almost as is your conscience DID feel something? ..if only briefly... I know better than to argue with a liar. I learned the difference between a MECHANIC and a TECHNICIAN. a long time ago. They reveal themselves QUICKLY when you have your own; professional diagnostics tool & access to alldata. ALL SAID AND DONE.. I paid the $500 he wanted for basically confirming my own diagnosis, and for his labor to break more things on my car. As I pulled away from the shop I had WORSE engine power issues, and (2) more dash lights. upon removing my intake system, i immediately found my broken surge tank. And VSS lines. Not only that. this crook didn't even apply my full AAA discount. He gave me 6.00 off of a $500 bill. (roughly 1%) People. Believe me when I say.. this shop has NO MORAL COMPASS. Absolutely won't hesitate to run up your bill And has ZERO accountability for their mistakes. Little does he know, I was once a certified technician. And know very well.. EXACTLY what he did. His report tells SO much more than he intended. the vehicle the he, himself, sold me. (for blue book value). Turned out to be an un-insurable, TOTALED OUT, and completely worthless. Although, I'll admit, it's a decent ride if you're okay with an uninsurable Lexus That no one will insure beyond bottom dollar liability coverage. he definitely sold me up on the price. Overpaid by at least $1000. So.. I didn't want to spend more than $500 at a shop (especially if I can't insure it for that amount) But he seemingly planned to tear it down on the assumption I WOULD PAY.. until I called and stopped him.. he was likely was already prepping to charge me for the pieces he broke too... but then decided to just fake it, and slap it back together. Even Duct taped my intake boot like a true mechanic. and charged me for this shitty service. WELL DONE PETE, you have shown your cards. I'm calling you out on your bulls$&% service. You can keep my money. i Truly hope it lives on your conscience, too. You know what you did. That's why your quote was upwards of $2k! You knew I'd have to get those (2) parts.. plus my sensors.. etc. Never again! I will get my car back to top condition just fine. all by myself. I apologize for thinking you might have been a stand up guy. And don't worry about those extra codes either! I can clear those as well, sir! Enjoy that hard earned money! I hope you understand that you did that to a wildfire victim, and father of 3 Young children.. who happens to be currently on unemployment with mounting hospital bills for his 6yr daughters cancer treatment. not to worry though, our fearless liar and thief....
