The wines were all good- we bought a couple bottles plus slushees after the tasting and stayed a while. I am not usually a fan of the slushees but theirs are legitimately good! They don't have a big indoor area, plenty of space outside but inside is minimal- would like to see them expand it. Honestly would come back in a heart beat if in the area, it's just very far from us and the other wineries out that was are atrocious so not sure when we would be back.

They have tables to sit and drink wine or have lunch, and a flock of very cute fluffy chickens that scatter around. Some families were there and they had ordered a pizza to be delivered there and were drinking a few bottles of wine. We opted to try the 7 wines for $12.00 tasting. The woman doing the tasting was very detailed about the wines and we really enjoyed listening and asking questions. We enjoyed all the white wines with the Cayuga White being our favorite, so we got a bottle of that to take home. I also enjoyed the reds and the rose. The owner was very friendly and loved chatting when we asked about the huge unusual tree - it is his pride and joy - a chestnut tree! We would definitely come back. I do wish they gave more than a very small pour. In some of the wines, we couldn't really get the flavors as there was just not enough wine in the glass to taste fully.

The vineyard has indoor and outdoor seating. We started out with a three wine flight ($22 per flight) from the custom wine flight: Seaport White, Sheer Chardonnay and Cab. Franc. The next wine flight was also from the custom wine flight: Riesling, Oak Chardonnay and Pawcatuck River Red. All the wines were very good. Thank heaven, the flights were in glasses. Our favorite was the Sheer Chardonnay. Normally, I don't like Un-Oaked Chardonnay, but this one was excellent. This baby came home with us. The gift shop has some very clever and unique wine related items. In fact, I thought this was the best gift shop in any vineyard I've visited. We purchased a towel, "Let's Drink Wine and Judge People". Customer Service was pretty good. As we were leaving, it appeared that the winery was having a music event on the grounds. I appreciated how much knowledge she had about the process and the wine varieties. But the tour should be a little more involved for the money you pay for it. The store is awesome. They had so many really unique items , you could easily spend some money in there. The wine is excellent, too. I tried about four different ones at the tasting and not one was bad. Overall a positive experience and I look forward to coming back for lunch in june!
