What a TERRIBLE experience!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I have no idea how these…read moremorons are still in business. Over a month ago, the female owner told my mother that she would be bringing in some Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. At this point, my mother said she would take a female when it came in. When the incompetent owner called to say that the puppies were in, she said she already sold the female. OK... My mom told the morons that she would like to think about getting a male and that she would call them the next day. The male owner did not wait for my mom to call the next morning, and he did not bother to call her to ask if she had made a decision. He sold the other two puppies without speaking to my mom. When confronted and asked about why they sold all of the puppies after one had been spoken for, the psychotic male owner lost control and started swearing and saying, "This is horse shit". He proceeded to tell me to get out of his "goddamn store" and that he was going to call the police on me!!!!!! In 35 years, I have never seen such a poorly run business with incompetent owners. The man is PSYCHOTIC!!!!!!

We have been Rens customers for five years and recently they change their website and asked all…read moresubscription customers to re-enter all of their information and re-order their subscriptions. I did everything right and did what they asked, and paid for my $90 dog food as I always do, but was sent the wrong order. I tried to dispute this but they wanted me to bring the incorrect items to a store to return them for a refund, when I wasn't charged for these incorrect items, I was charged for the dog food I never received. I emailed back right away and their customer service has not not been responding to me. I have been loyal and respectful, but I have had it. They did not offer me the food I paid for nor did they even offer me a refund. Extremely disappointed with their customer service for an issue THEY created not even me...will NEVER shop here again and am disputing the charges with my bank. They have lost a customer that spends thousands here every year with their lack of care!

I could've set a banana on my counter and got that for free. I call and speak to management - she says it's bc of the temperature ?? And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong?? It's a simple product and issue but her info on this is incorrect. I ran a hot professional breeding facility for 18 years. I breed fruit flies like crazy. I'm concerned that employees there are acting like they know when they don't and it'll hurt customers looking

The back wall has birds for sale and a bunny in the window. Normally I'm against selling animals, however the lady who runs to store - nicest woman ever - lives in the back and is able to keep an eye on them 24 hrs a day. In another side room she carries fabulous high end dog foods like Fromm, Hills, Wellness, Acana etc. Lining the one wall is every toy a dog or cat could want with some well known names like Kong and some other ones not so well known but super cute (i.e. colourful zombie like dog toys). I finally found a rain poncho for my dog that didn't kill my pocket ($12.99) and we got free samples at the counter in little paper bags. She also has a lovely little dog named Gracie (Pug/Terrier cross) that will gladly accept belly rubs and will play tug of war. In additional this kind lady puts out free coffee and cupcakes for her customers on the way in the store. Overall, fabulous store!!! If your in the area and have a pet this is the place for you!!

There are 3 staff that work at the Brant Street location and all of them are terrific, if you haven't experienced this store before check it out on a Friday which is the day when you get free dog treats if you bring your dog into the location with NO PURCHASE necessary. Be warned the prices on much of the products in the store are rather expensive but that is because the quality of the product is above what you will find at most locations however there are several decent products to buy which are rather cheap such as their individual cookies, pig ears and raw or baked marrow bones which are three of my dogs favorite treats. They also price match, once confirmed they will match the price of a competitor for identical items. This location also offers a full self-washing facility complete with a locking door and locking gate for their tub which is large enough to accommodate several hundred pounds of dog (it makes me 102 pound lab look small). Do yourself a favor and experience what Mike and others have to offer at this location and I'm sure you'll keep coming back specifically to say hello to them and just be in a friendly environment.
