I completely understand this but to have one of the bigger name dry cleaners in the area all be closed on the same day in all locations was pretty frustrating. I called multiple companies and they were all closed. DeVono's was the only one that was open in South York. I drove all the way there and they were very happy to accept my business. They are not exactly on the way for me but I have no problem driving out-of-the-way now since they have no problem being open when I need them to be.

Never had been to this cleaner so decided to try them out with a down vest I got from a thrift…read morestore. I was greeted and a few minutes later was registered. They took the vest and said it would be ready the next day, handed me a ticket. It was $4 and change. I was immediately texted confirming they received my garment. The next day I received another text thanking me then the text to pick up. At first it looked great but anything pressed and hung in plastic looks great. However, when I took the vest out of the bag it still had the same musty smell as when I took it in. But now it also had a fine amount of whisky hairs all over the vest!! I'm definitely not happy with the outcome! Looking at the reviews better seems they don't specialize in downing cleaning or specialty fabrics. If you have down items don't bring them here. Instead go to experts like Highlander Cleaners. They cleaned and fluffed my down vest ensuring the other fibrin wasn't harmed. For all other clothes Zips is quick and convenient.

They have wonderful customer service (truly, everyone here is very kind) and very fair prices. I won't risk trying a different place for alterations because because every time I've gone here, the work was wonderful, exactly what I asked for, and done in a timely manner. I've had linen pants, work pants, jeans, etc. all altered here and they've all been perfect. I wouldn't recommend going during the holiday season as they are typically swamped with alternations.

Somehow their tailor had a mixed message and completely deconstructed then reconstructed the dress in an odd way. The tag is now under the arm instead of the back and there is a seam running up the front. The dress no longer fits and is now worthless. It was brand new and still had the price tag. I took it back to show them and Mrs. Kim became combative insisting that the dress was like that when I brought it to them. I have photos before of the dress and it clearly was different. There is no question that it was mistakenly altered at their shop. She refused to listen and accused me of upsetting them. After 20 plus years of frequenting their shop, I'm shocked at her reaction. I've now also seen similar negative reviews. Extremely disappointing. I am now out $250 for the ruined dress and alterations which they refused to reimburse. I will never go there again.
