They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. Our experience started when Mr Jenkins came to our home to review the project we were about to embark on, walked us through how they work, provided us with a copy of their prices, left a log-in sheet, and said his project manager would arrive the next day to introduce themselves. When I went to pick out tile, the project manager met me at the tile company. (That is another review.....) There were all kinds of issues with the tile company, and instead of weeks, it took MONTHS for us to receive materials. Jenkins's and Co bird-dogged that for me so I didn't have to. As soon as the materials arrived, they started work and stayed on the job until it was done. Turns out the tile company shorted us on floor tile (tile employee who measured our bath apparently flunked basic math).To compound the situation, the tile was imported from Italy and the only place in the country to MAYBE get more was from Fifth Ave, NY. Jenkins's implored the tile company for options, they gave us the floor sample and finally found one remaining tile stashed in their warehouse (WHEW!!). Even through NUMEROUS issues with the tile supplier, Jenkins and Co worked doggedly to get my project done as quickly, and as excellently as possible, even finding an alternate tile supplier for slab after employee at first place neglected to order the vanity slab. I will GLADLY use Jenkins of Northern Neck again, and HIGHLY recommend them for whatever project you have. If I could give them TEN stars, I would!

I had Comfort Consultants install a new thermostat last May 2025. I called and complained for…read moreseveral months that the Heat Pump was not operating properly, that I was experiencing extremely high electric bills and I believed that the thermostat was not wired properly. Finally in November 2025, the tech found that he had wired the thermostat incorrectly and rewired the thermostat. The tech added 3 pounds of refrigerant on one visit in October with dye and one pound of refrigerant on the next visit in November. After experiencing continued poor performance from the Heat Pump and high electric bills, I continued to complained to Comfort Consultants and was told that the owner would get back with me. He has never reached out to me. In March 2026, I had a contractor from another company inspect my system and found that I had no refrigerant in the system. The tech from Comfort Consultants failed to discover the source of this problem resulting in many months of high electric bills and irreversible damage to the unit as a result of running non-stop. Would not recommend this company.
